Toshiba Designed an Excellent LCD!!!

Strengths: * Plethora of inputs. * Excellent 10-bit panel. Gradation between colors unnoticeable. * Native mode (no cropping of pixels). * More than ample picture adjustments. * Aesthetically looks AWESOME!

Weakness: * VGA Input lacks some useful video modes, namely a few 16:9 or 16:10 resolutions --> hooking a PC up over VGA may not give you the desired res (e.g. no 1680x1024 or 1080p). Not an issue with HDMI.

I am thoroughly pleased with this Toshiba 46RF350U -- it is a top notch set. The menu system is easy and straight-forward. The picture out-of-the-box is pretty good, but with some adjustment/calibration, it is excellent. I haven't finished completely setting up/calibrating the set, mainly cause I've spent what little time I have with the TV to WATCH, instead of fiddle. But the little tweaking I...

Can't go wrong with the regza line

Strengths: Flexibility of picture modes, remote control is outstanding, picture top notch

Weakness: transition between modes quirky

I bought this TV primarily because it fits in my built-in cabinet space constructed for a "deep dish" 37 " TV. I've read the comments on color and rendering and don't see them in my set at all. Colors are tremendous and accurate. I do have a fairly small viewing room though. The Remote has been a great addition, consolidated 3 other remotes including the cable, DVD, VCR and TV into one. My wife...

Toshiba Regza 46RF350U

Strengths: Great Tv!!! Wonderful picture with over the air antenna or my Comcast cable box with high def (1080i). Fantastic performance and picture with a HP slimline pc with 1080p blue-ray player.

Weakness: Speakers, if you buy this, you must have a surround system.

I bought this to replace an older regza 42", and get the 1080p performance out of my Slimline. The narrow bezel allowed me to up-size to 46", and it fits like a glove in the entertainment center. No glare on screen with the lcd and almost unlimited options to adjust the picture quality. Intuitive set-up and menu, very user friendly. I would highly recommend it to friends/relatives.

Toshiba 46RF350U

Strengths: Excellent picture and sound. Bright colors, excellent contrast, deep blacks. Great with HDTV signal and HD DVD.

Weakness: None that I can see or hear.

I already have two other 1080P HD TV's, one an LCD and one a DLP. This set has the best picture of all. The narrow bezel let me fit this 46" screen into a space that some 42" LCD's would not fit. The cost of the set was low compared to other models with similar features. I have had excellent results with other Toshiba products.

Strengths: AWESOME colors! No blur to speak of while watching sports or action-related video

Weakness: Remote signal isn't as strong as I would like it to be.

This was my first HDTV purchase and it was definitely worth the wait. This TV fit perfectly in entertainment center designed to fit a 42" TV. The colors are so beautiful; I don't know how I lived without this TV before! The only down side I can see is that the remote isn't as strong as it should be, but you can certainly fix this with a "All-in-One Remote." I just watched Super Bowl XLII...
