Great TV for the Money
Strengths: Great buy. Excellent Picture. Easy Setup. QAM tuner. Sound delta and leveling feature. Picture filters that really work.
Weakness: Only one 75 ohm input. Can't easily switch between Over The Air and cable signals. No PC input.
The Good: Great features, great picture. I purchased mine from Sam's Club for $1800 on Superbowl Sunday. It was easy to setup and install. HD looks great on this TV! I hooked it up to my cable (extended basic/no STB), ran through the setup and it found all my analog channels just fine. Thanks to the QAM tuner, it also found all the local (ABC,NBC,CBS,PBS,FOX) unencrypted digital HD channels that...

Great features, great picture. I purchased mine from Sam's Club for $1800 on Superbowl Sunday. It was easy to setup and install.
HD looks great on this TV!
I hooked it up to my cable (extended basic/no STB), ran through the setup and it found all my analog channels just fine. Thanks to the QAM tuner, it also found all the local (ABC,NBC,CBS,PBS,FOX) unencrypted digital HD channels that Comcast and all cable companies are required by law to carry. THAT'S RIGHT...YOU DO NOT NEED A SET-TOP-BOX OR ADDITIONAL SERVICE TO GET LOCAL HD WITH YOUR BASIC CABLE. IF YOUR TV HAS A QAM TUNER, YOU'RE GOOD TO GO. This TV also makes analog look a little better with its filters (Pixel Plus and Dynamic Contrast). Progressive scan PS2 and DVD look great as well.
Audio features are nice too. My digital channels are about 75% the volume of analog channels. There is a channel-independent sound delta feature that let's you boost or soften the volume for separate channels. Also, the analog channels can all use the audio leveling feature wihch assures the commercials don't blow you away.
Can't "label" channels. With a digital channels like 92.10, it would be nice to label that channel with "ABC".
You can't easily switch the TV between OTA and Cable signals, so if you wan't to view both, you might be out of luck.
V-Chip works strange. If you un-block a show with the PIN number, all blocks on all channels are disabled until the TV is turned off then back on.

Strengths: good picture, video format auto adjust
Weakness: sound is just so so, only one HDMI, only one digital coaxial input, no optical input.
bought it from buy.com when there is a discount. I'm a little bit nervous about buying such a big one online. It turns out to be a good buy. Set up is easy. You need to have at least one more people to help you to move and set it up. update the driver is quite easy. get an antenna to get HD signals. It turns out very good. Anyway, I love it.
