5 Star Review   By member acutter - Apr 20, 2005

Strengths: Tremendous versatility and outstanding performance. A remarkable value. (But can it really output 100 rms watts continuous per per channel with 400 watts total input? Can someone explain this to me?

Weakness: Takes a while to learn about all the features. (I still have not completely figured it out.) Unlit remote is hard to get used to.

This AV receiver is extremely complex and versatile. Makes a great "nerve center" for my system, with virtually any feature I might want. The built-in YPAO (audio setup)makes it simple to balance the audio for better results than I could otherwise have gotten on my own. Now, if it only had a backlit remote......

5 Star Review   By member georgeyu_97 - Oct 29, 2004

Strengths: The sound quality is really good. I can feel the high frequency side is smooth and the bass came out from the subwoofer is rich and clean.

I have compared the Yamaha RX-V750 with Denon AVR 2805, ONKYO TX-R601, and JVC-Rx8030 receivers by listening a DVD music disc. I gave Yamaha RX-V750 the highest score. I strongly recommend people to buy this receiver. The price is not high but it worth every penny! This new Yamaha RX-V750 has digital volume level display which is a newly designed feature. It also comes with a Auto-Setup mode with microphone to fine tune the speaker's performance.
