Sony MDR-EX56LP | Blue
3.5 Star Review  productwiki.com - Nov 4, 2010

The MDR-EX56LP are mid-range in-ear headphones from Sony. Available in black, white, and blue, they employ 9mm drivers and neodymium magnets, and are intended to produce sound quality a step up from that of Apples basic iPod earbuds, for instance, as well as superior bass. They lack, however, the high-sensitivity drivers utilized by many models in Sonys Premium line. Silicone earbuds are included in three sizes to ensure a close fit in all ears and minimize sound distortion and leakage. The MDR-EX56LP come with a 3.9-ft neck chain-type cord, and a carrying pouch. Features In-ear design 9mm drivers Neodymium magnet Sensitivity : 100dB/mW Frequency response: 6 - 23,000Hz Impedance: 16 ohms Power handling capacity: 100mW 3.9-ft neck chain-type cord Silicone earbuds in three sizes Carrying pouch ... PROS: (1) feel comfortable, dont leave your ear canal sore and the cord isnt abrasive (2) provide good distortion-free bass support (3) mids and highs are clear, lack the tinny sound heard in lower quality earphones (4) general acoustic details in music are very clear, dont need to be loud to hear everything (5) cuts ambient noise very effectively ... CONS: (1) cord is extremely light, feels a little like it might break (2) cant generate loud volume output
