I loved the beats executives when I got them particularly the way they look. These beats really do have superior sound quality and very heavy bass which I loved too however they make my ears hurt, sweaty, and itchy if I use them for more than an hour. I have to say the sound quality is a little better than my bose but these beats cost twice as much. The outer cuffs clamp around your ears and though this does make for better noise cancelling and surround sound it suffocates the area around my ears which makes my ears sore and sweaty and makes my whole head hot. I think they make my ears sore because they are so bulky idk. I like that about way they look though, all big and bulky, shiny and heavy (they are made out of aluminum i believe). These are very good looking headphones and they come through with good sound quality and some cool features to back up the flashy cosmetics and packaging. I liked these beats a lot when I got them and I wouldn't have returned them if they were comfortable on my ears but they almost created a vacuum seal around my ears when i put them on which made my ears itchy, sweaty, and sore. They also need batteries to turn on, I guess the extra energy is required to produce the heavy sound and base, but it's a huge pain that you have to have batteries to use them. Say if your on a trip or on a plane and they run out of battery power, then you have go to a store to buy batteries just to listen to your music and it could be a long time before you get to a store. It is also a pain to repackage them into the carrying case because they are so big, but they do look cool once folded neatly inside the case lol. If these flaws were fixed I would consider getting these headphones again but for now I'm sticking with my bose, for half the price they feel much better on my head and the sound quality is all there.

The sound is unbelievable. The only negative is that they require double A batteries and if you forget to turn them off they can need replacement pretty often.
