Amazingly Comfortable and Sound Good
Strengths: Comfort (thank god at last!! ) Bass (if youre into that kinda thing) Loudeness (partly due to good isolation/sealing) Light
Weakness: Err... ummm I think its possible to get better sounding and user serviceable cans at the same price (but not the same comfort) Not-Compact (mebbe some kinda folding especially at this price)
These are the most comfortable headphones i have ever used period.
And I can wear them for hours and hours without any headphone related fatigue or pain (other than a little heating of my ear lobes).. and I have an above average head/ear size.
They also sound decently good, nothing out of the earth though and are well built and can handle 6ft falls on a concrete floor and being crushed between books inside backpacks. I have also found that complete sound isolation (ie ur ears should be completely inside them) is necessary for these to sound right (mostly because the ear gets used to the isolated noise audio levels)
Do try one on at a store around you to make sure they fit you well.

Strengths: Amazingly vivid audio in all ranges
Weakness: Ha! Yeah right.
I listen to perhaps the most acoustically demanding form of music ever. It is classical and if you also listen to classical music you will understand when I tell that these headphones are incredible because they can handle the basses and trebles of Respighi's Pines of Rome, Holst's Planets, Shostakovich's Symphony No.5, basically any song requiring flexible speakers. It is hard most of the time to find car speakers that can handle the range of these two songs.

Strengths: Excellent sound, best bass for my money
Weakness: Bulky size
I bought the triports for use with my ipod because the ear buds that came with it just weren't cutting it. The sound out of these triports is everything one would expect from Bose: clear, deep rich bass, etc. the only downside is the bulk. The size makes them somewhat difficult to store and they screw up my hair. :-) I just purchased some Shure E4c's with great anticipation, but they were very disappointing so they are going back and I will stick with the triports! I have experienced no mechanical issues that I have seen a few reviewers cite. They sound great.

Strengths: sex for my ears without having to penetrate.
Weakness: i wish i had more ears so i could wear more of these.
overkills with my x-fi elite sound card. if you don't like bulky headphones, these are obviously this type. these sound fantastic at high volume. if you don't like loud music, definitely stay away. sweet for gaming also.

Does most things right
Strengths: Good, balanced sound and fair blockage of outside noise
Weakness: Slightly boomy, a bit overpriced in my opinion
These are some nice headphones, no doubt. I'm actually surpised how good they sound straight out of my portable CD player. In fact, I found that they sounded WORSE using a headphone amp, which made them sound muddy and unrefined. I would have liked them a lot better if they had been under $100, but I guess part of what you are paying for is the Bose name.

Excellent quality sound, very quick service
Strengths: Shipping was very fast. These headphones have amazing sound quality.
I always wanted to buy a BOSE product. Its a lot different than you can ever imagine. You can feel the sound of every instrument played in the music. Even very subtle background instruments. I also got shipping free with no taxes!
I will highly recommend to buy from this manufacture.

Great for Ipod
Strengths: Great sound on the ipod and comfortable cushion fit on the ears. Lightweight too.
Weakness: Just got it but I confirm that it does look fragile.
These headphones sound great on the ipod. Great bass and it's very comfortable on your ears. It's lightweight and the quality and fullness of the sound beats my MDR sony headphones. I read about it being fragile after buying it aand it does look fragile . I usually drop my sony headphones daily and it's really durable. I wont do that on these since it will probably break. I got these from electronic warehouse for $130-$10(first time google checkout users get $10 off)=$120.

Strengths: Sound ok
Weakness: flat to bass sound
Typical Bose, more hype than delivery. I liked my Portapros much better than these. The build quality is cheap the sound is heavy on the bass side. I can't really get excited about these.

Well built and great sound
Strengths: Extremely comfort to wear, well built and nice sound
Weakness: Very pricy
If you one of those who hate headphone that has too much pressure on your head, this would be the prefect solution. The sound quality is fantastic and construction is excellent. If price is really not an issue, this is a no brainer. In addition, it can reduce a great deal of noise as well. One small complaint is that my ear is a bit hot after about 2 hours of wearing the headphone.

Strengths: Comfortable! Sound quality like you were sitting in a Bose demo theatre.
Weakness: Price however, very worth it.
I was looking for some great gaming headphones with a mic. Too bad everything out there is way sub-par to playing great music as well. Again, these are really really good headphones with some of these best sound I've ever heard. They do a good job at blocking out atmosphere sounds as well. Games are awesome, and if you spend more than 15 bucks on a good stand alone mic, you won't be disappointed with teamspeak.

Great for the price..
Strengths: comfortable and clean clear sound..
Weakness: a little bit of a weak design
these are great if you take care of your electronics really well, but ive heard alot of people complain about how easily these break. Mine came apart while they were in my bag.. but i got it to snap back together luckily.
That aside, the chord legnth is perfect for an ipod, gives you a little slack, and comes with an ext chord if you use it for studio work.
if you appreciate clear music and wear your headphones alot these are your cans, if not... try sony! :P

Bose TriPort Headphones
Strengths: Fantastic sound reprodection & very comfortable
Weakness: Would like also offered in all black color
I listen to recorded music and voice with these headphones, but I primarily purchased them for use with my digital piano. I often play digital piano when other family members are sleeping and with the Bose TriPort head phones, my portable digital piano sounds like the most expensive concert grand piano. The sound reproduction is surpurb.
