The first thing I thought when I...
Strengths: Over all sound quality is exceptional. Great bass.
The first thing I thought when I saw these headphones was: "How could I possibly get big sound from headphones that small?" The size of these phones is seriously misleading. The bass is exceptional and the overall sound quality is far superior to any other headphone I've ever owned.

Great sound, poor construction
Strengths: Outstanding bass response, very light weight
Weakness: Headband construction is extra weak
I have Bose home speakers that feature the same excellent sound you find in these headphones. Unfortunately, the poor construction quality of the home speakers also applies to the headphones. I am EXCEEDINGLY careful with all my electronic items, especially those costing over $150 yet both places where the headband attaches to the speakers are broken after about a year and a half of use. The sound quality of the headphones are *outstanding* but I will not buy Bose headphones again because of the construction quality.

I love these headphones. I...
Strengths: Great bass, very comfortable, great high/low/mid frequencies. Portable yet strong. Great sound drivers.
Weakness: I guess it's not really a weakness per say, but when you're listening to music you cant hear anything outside of the music.
I love these headphones. I actually prefer them over the Quiet Comfort II's. For some reason the noise canceling on the QCII's annoys my ears, but these are even better, they cup so close to you that you don't get any outside noise. Wow, they are so comfortable too! I know $150 is a lot for headphones, but trust me...its worth it. It's worth every cent. The case that comes with it is more like a thin layer of cloth all around, so it doesnt protect anything, but its still nice to have! $150 sounds like a lot for headphones, but trust me, its worth it.

Strengths: The best sound from headphones I've ever heard in my life, Comfort, and good wire length.
Weakness: The headband may break if you're not careful
I originally bought it because of its comfort and high price - strangely in headphones, a higher price does means better sound quality as you will see..
Because I am not an expert in reviewing sound, I would like to leave the audio review to those who are more experienced. All I can say is that I do listen to a wide variety of music from symphony orchestras and piano pieces
to rock, heavy metal, japanese eurobeat, and trance... and Bose brings the best out of each song.
It's not very good for gaming in Counter-Strike because it was hard to seperate the footsteps from the explosions, if you were (probably not) wondering.
The headband is made out of a wonderful elastic material, but the two side parts of the headband are made out of brittle and hollow plastic, unfortunately, they broke so I couldn't use my headphone for months.
However, I edited my review because Bose was generous enough to send me a new pair with accessories included, and I believe now that it is the previous owner's fault for weakening the structural integrity of the plastic, because my new pair seems much sturdier than before.

I was first a little dissapointed...
Strengths: Comfort, Great Sound (after adjustments), Looks
Weakness: They sound a little muddy with a flat EQ, levels need to be adjusted to achieve optimal sound.
I was first a little dissapointed with the sound. The bass overwelmes the treble a bit, but after a little EQ adjusting they sound glorious. Because of this, they lost a star.
If you use winamp, I would highly recommend the 'Rock' EQ preset.

Bose Tri Port Headphone
The sound quality of this small headphone is good. But the headband made from cheap plastic it broke after 6 months.
I will not buy this type of headphone again because of poor headband. And trust me the headband will break if you're not really careful put it on and take off.
