Good initial quality
Strengths: features (esp speakerphone)
Weakness: Round button in center wears out rather quickly so that you cannot pull up recent calls.
Good phone, lots of great features on phone, speaker phone is a must, but would recommoned up/down arrow design for going thru call list rather than the wheel they have in the center - wore out quickly.

Strengths: Good Range, Lots of features for the price
Weakness: Does not have voice tags that work with caller id
I was lucky enough to find the accessory handsets on sale at Office Max (buy one for $30 and get one free). I brought home 4 of them to go with the 3 that came with the base station. Setting them up was very easy. This system has so many features it's hard to know where to start. I was lucky enough to find the accessory handsets on sale at Office Max (buy one for $30 and get one free). I brought home 4 of them to go with the 3 that came with the base station. Setting them up was very easy.
This system has so many features it's hard to know where to start. The caller ID works on every handset, you can have different address books on different handsets, and copy them back and forth. When there is a message, all of the handsets have a blinking light and you can listen to messages from any handset.
I really like the intercomm features that this set has, now my wife and I don't have to yell at each other up and down the stairways.
For the money, this system can't be beaten.

Strengths: Good value
Weakness: Limited number of ringtones
Good value for this type of expansion phone. Won't interfere with wireless networks (I was just on this phone while writing this on my wireless laptop). Instructions for making changes to base ringer are hard to find. Overall a good one to buy.

Easy to set up
Strengths: Easy to set up with existing handsets and base
Weakness: have to pickup the to answer intercom
It's easy to just keep adding handsets once you have the base unit. You can name each handset so paging them individually is easy, as is the set up. Only thing I wish it did was just have the intercom be activated without having to pick up the unit.

Great Value for a Reliable, Easy to Use Product
Strengths: User friendly Big Displays Bright Backlight Easy Menu Interface Clear Reception Long Range
Weakness: No Color Screen No Bluetooth Only a couple ringtones
Uniden has always been so user friendly and easy to set up. I currently use these phones with my vonage service and the clarity is sharp and crisp whether I use the speakerphone or the handset. I originally purchased the Uniden TRU9485-2 and purchased this TCX905 to add to my current set.
