Not Worth It
1 Star Review   By HatinIt on AT&T - Jan 17, 2012

I guess this phone's ok. I've dropped it so many times and it still works perfectly fine! But i have many problems with this phone. First it goes so slow and no matter where I'm at to use the web, music, ect it goes super slow! Second, when I first got it I could open and send picture messages and now it won't let me. Third, you can't have a texting signature! Fourth, which is a huge one for me, when I'm taking pictures it won't let me zoom in. Fifth, the phone freezes a lot so I have to close it, wait for a second, then re-open it! Sixth, when you take a video, you can only record for 32 seconds! All I can say is it's a waste of time and it's not worth it! Honestly, I wish I could give this 0 stars!

A phone JUST for texters
3 Star Review   By ThatGirl1836 on AT&T - Jan 9, 2012

I got this phone about a year ago. I thought it was so cool that it had vibrating keys when I first got it, but honestly, now it's pretty annoying. Also, you can't keep all your messages, because it doesn't have a lot of memory. You have to delete them. The camera and video quality is horrible. Completely horrible. The games . . . If you want anything out of them you have to buy the full version. Sometimes, it just shuts off randomly. Just out of the blue! But, it's an easy to use phone, though. It great to text with. This is definitely a texting phone. The speaker I use all the time, I actually think it's pretty clear. Bottom line, get this if you text . . . A LOT.

Come on guys, this phone really isnt that bad.
4 Star Review   By BettySue on AT&T - Jan 6, 2012

Ive had this phone for a year or so, and honestly, it was one of the best Ive had. I ALWAYS have my phone on me. Im constantly facebooking, texting, and taking pictures. The memory is great. Sure it can only take so much, for example it wouldnt let me take any more pictures..that was only because I had a good amount of texts. Im a popular girl so my inbox was always full, oh well time to delete. The battery life was pretty decent in my opinion. The only time my battery would decrease was when I viewed videos on youtube (not the best sound but the quality was surprisingly clear) and when I talked on the phone. I dont talk on the phone much, but when I did the battery did decrease. Like I said before I LOVE the internet, and my phone lasted a good 9 hours when I texted and facebooked. Pretty good if you ask me. Oh and if you're a klutz like me, this phone can take a hit! I dropped this phone so many times, but you know what? The screen never cracked, of course the phone itself gets a little dented and scratched up but that was it. THE BAD: It only froze like 5 times when I had it. It's only for about a minute or so, but if you just turn it off then on, it's fine. It does reset more than one would like. Now I thought this was a consequence of me dropping it so many times, but looking back it did reset once before the brutal beatings it received. Inconvenient, yes. But it's not a dealbreaker. Overall, I think this is a good phone. Especially if it's your first..or heck, maybe 3rd. Good luck :)

At least it looks cute
2 Star Review   By AshTN on AT&T - Jan 6, 2012

This phone looks super cute... But that's about all. The position of the camera button makes it hard to take pictures. The touchscreen on the outside is the first feature to go and forces you to open your phone to answer it. The port for the charger goes out quickly too, and Pantech chargers are way less common. The back pops off and it falls into pieces if it is dropped. And the message system is totally whacked. You can't save messages. And it only lets you have a small number of messages before you have to delete them all. It freezes and is hard to look at previous messages. But I've gotta give it credit... My son has dropped it in the toilet twice, and it still works. Kinda.

hate the incoming photos
3 Star Review   By coronalover on AT&T - Jan 3, 2012

When people send me pics they are thumbnail size and I have send them to my exterior card to see full size or forward to my email to see on my computer later. It runs out of memory on my texts and needs to be deleted too quick. It is easy to navigate and the keyboard is easy to use.

Worst Phone Ever
1 Star Review   By HellerNoName on AT&T - Jan 2, 2012

This was the first phone I got with AT&T. I regret the choice of ever getting it in the first place. It has a short battery life and turns off randomly. It is a very simple phone but not in the good way. The camera quality was not good. It would also freeze. As far as messaging goes, the inbox fills up very quickly. Overall, I hated this phone.

Do Not Get This Phone
2 Star Review   By Ali73 on AT&T - Jan 2, 2012

There are only 2 pros for this phone, takes very good pictures and texting is easy, keyboard great. There are multiple cons-you constantly have to be deleting your texts as it doesn't hold hardly any. Sometimes when you hold the phone close to your face to talk, it will turn off or if you are not careful when you grab it to answer it, it will disconnect the caller. The location of the camera is unbelievable, you have to hold it awkwardly to take the picture.

FREEZING
3 Star Review   By Abril on AT&T - Dec 30, 2011

So the first 5 minutes you have the phone its great but this phone freezes EVERY TIME your inbox is full which if you text all day every day is often. The only way to fix the problem is by turning on and off the phone which gets Extremely annoying. But when you turn it on and you get MORE texts your phone will freeze again and you have to take the battery out' again. Whenever I'm texting a lot of people and my inbox gets full and I have to turn it off I have to put it in airplane mode or else I'll throw it against the wall. Now' you can delete the messages if you go into the inbox sometimes but other times it just freezes when you click the menu icon on the screen. Other then that the speaker's a little funny and thats about it. Oh and going from app to app sometimes causes the app to freeze but to close it all you have to do it click the end call button

i hate this phone...
1 Star Review   By girl1 on AT&T - Dec 29, 2011

in the beginning this phone was great. Now i am having many problems. The piece that covers the battery doesn't stay on. The black thing around the keyboard fell off. Now the keyboard is falling off. When i want to hang up a phone call the touch screen doesn't work so i have to open the phone to hang up. Also it shuts down all the time by it's self. I would not recommend this phone to anybody.

really good
4 Star Review   By sybbles on AT&T - Dec 26, 2011

ive had this phone for about a year now- and the most trouble that ive had with it is that it occasionally shuts itself down for no reason, and can only hold a certain amount of messages until you have to delete them. the keyboard is great- texting is soooooo easy. but the back of the phone falls off easily, and i recently lost it so now the battery keeps falling out. overall though, its very durable- i have dropped it countless time and there are only a few scratches on theouter screen!

Didn't like it really
2 Star Review   By SomeoneImportant on AT&T - Dec 18, 2011

I have had this phone for almost a year, too long. The screen when the phone is folded is easily unlocked in your pocket and it will call people. Battery life is horrible imo. It's difficult to text, you always have to open up the phone to read a text and reply. The buttons are okay, big and easy to press. This phone ruined texting for me! I haven't texted hardly since I've gotten this phone. I used to like the way it was designed, now it's just horrible once I used it a lot. CAMERA is TERRIBLE!

It's alright, but not my favorite.
3 Star Review   By whysosynyster on AT&T - Dec 17, 2011

Overall, it was pretty good, but I would have random pieces falling off from time to time, and more recently, a small piece of plastic used to open a way to get the charging cable in fell of. Now, whenever I need to charge my phone I have to open it with a paperclip. I have also found the phone to have not much memory, and i would have to delete messages quite often. To prevent that, I turned on auto-delete, but that caused an obnoxious message to pop up and not go away for a while, as well as crash the phone.

3 Star Review   By brittanysara55 on AT&T - Dec 12, 2011

This isn't a bad phone, there is definitely pros and cons though. Cons: The battery cover doesn't stay on so if you're going to get it, buy a case. It freezes at times, but its not terrible. The phone occasionally shuts off and reboots itself, a couple times a week. Not too bad. Camera not the best. And if you don't have a data plan it can be very boring. I've had this phone for over a year and it has water damage because i dropped it in a puddle once, it gets water damage very easily. The front touch screen is terrible, mine completely shut off after 6 months of having the phone but the keys still worked, the screen just shut off. Pros: BATTERY LIFE IS FANTASTIC. I text pretty much all day and it will last me a day and a half easy. If I'm moderately texting/calling it can last me up to three days. I love its keyboard, its great to type on. Has many great easy shortcut buttons. Talk/clarity is reasonable. In my opinion it is a durable phone. Overall, it's good if you are just a texter and nothing else. Otherwise, I'd get another phone. I'm getting the Samsung Solstice II for Christmas :)

A good phone with some quirks
3 Star Review   By SnowedIn on AT&T - Dec 11, 2011

This phone is a total girls phone :) It's pink and fits perfectly in my cell phone pocket of my purse. It is too large for jeans pocket, so beware. I love that you get a full keyboard. I will warn you it shuts down and/or freezes on me. Battery life is good, I charge it every other day. I love that when my phone is shut off the alarm will still sound on the alarm clock. I don't subscribe to data so I wish there was a shut off so I wouldn't accidently click onto the data items.

Pretty good phone, overall.
4 Star Review   By MerrPod on AT&T - Dec 10, 2011

When I first got this phone I was pretty happy to get it. After a while of getting used to it, I really started to enjoy it. I do have problems when I am texting though. If I get messages coming in, my phone freezes and I have to shut it/open it for it to start working again. Also, after a while my phone just won't send messages so I have to keep turning it on and off. I do text A LOT (After all I am a teenager) so I can't complain too much. The freezing doesn't happen too much. The battery life though, it bugs me sometimes. When I'm texting a lot of people my bars slowly start to go down.

Great for texting! and cute
4 Star Review   By iPhone4Convert on AT&T - Dec 8, 2011

Although it had it quirks at first, it is still a really good phone. Great for txting, very cute, and compact (perfect size). It is comfortable, good camera, but the battery life could us some work. The outside/front touchscreen part can get a bit annoying at times especially when answering a call, but you get used to it. Overall, good phone.

2 Star Review   By mccraneyangels on AT&T - Dec 6, 2011

1st the touch screen in useless, it either brings up the wrong digit or 2 of them. 2nd the keyboard can hardly be seen. Silver on white big design flaw. The worse flaw was the battery cover never closed right and kept falling off. We exchanged it twice but ended up using duct tape (totally ghetto ). The other problem was it doesn't turn off when you close it.I got this phone for my daughter .There were alot of conversations that I overheard . The 1 thing I will say is the battery seems strong and reception is good. I wish I could have exchanged it for anther phone.

Good phone
4 Star Review   By soupisaidsoup on AT&T - Nov 23, 2011

I am about to upgrade to another phone after having this one for about 2 years. i am very klutzy with my phones so I have dropped it about 100 times. It was pretty durable at first but then after dropping it again the front screen went all fuzzy and pixalated, a couple weeks later i dropped it again...the front screen broke but the keys still worked. It is a great phone for texting, I like how it has conversation setup. The keys are very spacious, I text the average amount of teenager which is a lot, some people are saying their not but compared to a lot of the phones in the world i have no idea why the keys couldn't call for big. The camera is alright, is 2 mp so that quality isnt the greatest which is why i feel like upgrading to a phone with at least a 3 mp after using this camera for 2 years. On lots of phones when u take a video it only goes for 30 seconds, this is one of them, it's annoying but I didn't take a lot of video's so it didn't bother me much. The battery case is cheaply made. It doesnt fit on the back! What point is a battery case if it doesn't work. I got another one thinking my current battery case was different, still didn't fit. I suggest getting a case. Overall it lasted me so i think it's a pretty good phone.

Don't waste your money on this phone!!
3 Star Review   By Primo on AT&T - Nov 19, 2011

I was looking for a phone that would be great for texting since I would rather text than talk. I was very disappointed in my phone selection. The disappointment started immediately. Upon arrival, the back of the phone, where the battery is located, would not fit snug like it should. I was hoping that it eventually would.....wishful thinking on my part.....I actually didn't want to return it!! As I stated above, my main reason for choosing this phone was so I could text. It wasn't long before the keypad was moving around like it's been used for years. That's when I would have to delete my selected letters and retype them because the wrong letters would appear!! I had enough after a couple of months, so my husband returned it for a replacement, but I was surprised to see that the total phone is not replaced and I was stuck with the battery cover not fitting properly. (husband was told it was a common complaint for this phone!!) Would I purchase this phone again? NO!! Would I recommend this phone to others? NO!! One more comment. To be fair in rating this phone, I was not interested in most of the other features. I wanted a phone to text about 80% of the time.

GREAT PHONE ! WONT REGRET IT !
5 Star Review   By ohgeeitslayla on AT&T - Nov 18, 2011

I LOVE this phone & I LOVE AT&T best phone carrier alive. My mom has been on AT&T they day she probably stepped foot in the USA, which was 17 years ago. The phone is great, had fun with it. No problem, service is fantastic unlike Metro Piece of *you know what*. I plan on upgrading up to either a blackberry or Iphone. Had no problem and Im sticking to AT&T and their phones. They are stylish, cool. If your looking for a simple messaging phone. Them BAM this is it. :)

good for calling and texting
4 Star Review   By Taterbut on AT&T - Nov 16, 2011

I got one for me and one for my daughter who texts all the time. The texting is easy and the qwerty keyboard is great! She has dropped the phone repeatedly and it has worked well for a year and a half. Now though the sound sent or recieved is as if she is in a tin box. Mine still works great!!! I do not drop mine and find that it is a very well built phone. The back does come off if you do not have it in a case and it seems to be a design flaw that they have yet to remedy.

This is truly the perfect phone
5 Star Review   By corvyblue on AT&T - Nov 13, 2011

For a really long time I had this phone in blue and I loved it. Although it may have been hard to hang up sometimes, it was still really easy to use. The keyboard is very easy to type on because the letters are so big and you get used to typing on it very quickly. It is easy to navigate the menu and easy to text and call. I never ran out of battery and it charged very quickly. One of the cons however, is that if you accidentally go on the internet, you can't just push the hang up button repeatedly to get off. Although this problem is easily worked around. Overall, this phone is great and I only encountered a few small problems while using it.

Good phone, but not that good...
3 Star Review   By RichM on AT&T - Nov 6, 2011

So at one point this was my dream phone. I had the LG neon before this and hated it so much. I couldn't wait to get my upgrade and buy this phone. Turns out I regret getting this phone. I drop phones like crazy although I never thought about buying a case since I love the pink color. This phone likes to scratch super easy so that angers me. Also, if you drop it enough the back will come off. Reason being that the mini deals that hook into the back of the phone get bent since they're very cheap. I had to pull these up more just so I could get the back of my phone back on. It recently started to freeze and one of my chargers broke which would turn the phone off and I couldn't turn it back on unless I took the battery out. This phone unlocks easily and so I'll accidentally call the first person on my contact list over and over again because of when I move around the phone unlocks and calls them. I wish I did not get this phone even though there are many things I still like about it. Also when I would call anybody it would be hard to answer the phone and difficult to hang up thanks to the front keys on the phone. Definitely don't recommend this to anyone.

not too easy
4 Star Review   By basiccustomer on AT&T - Nov 6, 2011

Nice phone for someone who is able to operate touch screens and miniature qwerty boards. When I passed my hand near the touch screen (just trying to pick it up) it hung up the call. adjusting the intensity didn't help. QWERTY board is nice if you have a stylus pen to press the keys. I had a problem with the battery cover, it just wouldn't stay clipped on. A lot of scrolling in different fields to do some tasks, even in the "short cut" menu. If you work outside and want to see the screen on a sunny day... forget about it.

Not the most fabulous.
3 Star Review   By BlueBeybee on AT&T - Nov 5, 2011

I just recently upgraded out of this phone. I don't necessarily love this cell phone because if you scratch the touch screen even the slightest it makes it type by itself. I also experienced the problem of it rebooting itself at random. This is a fine phone I suppose. I loved it. Just needed a new one

horrible
2 Star Review   By katharine on AT&T - Oct 31, 2011

It always freezes. I have had it for almost 2 years and i HATE it. It shuts itself off and the back eventually falls off and no longer fits. The battery pops out every now and then and it has no features. There is limited memory and you have to delete your messages at least once a day. Sometimes you even have to delete your pictures/videos. The front is pointless and breaks soon after the purchase of the phone. Also, the hold key locks and sticks making the front of the phone utterly impossible to use, which doesn't matter since the front is useless anyway.

Awesome little phone!
5 Star Review   By JennL7 on AT&T - Oct 29, 2011

I have had absolutely NO problems with this phone at all. I have it in BLUE and love it. It is amazing for texting and phone calls. I had internet on it for a short time, but it wasn't worth the cost--not saying anything bad about the phone (it's just not a smartphone so it has limitations in that area). I have used other phones that were supposed to be better but I have been completely happy with this one. If you are looking for a little phone that's solid as far as texting and talking goes, this is the phone for you. I have small fingers so texting is not a problem, but my husband has used it before and been able to text just fine. Also, I have dropped it a few times and you would never know it. Battery life seems to be great as well--but again I don't have any internet on it. Highly recommended! =)

I love my new phone!
5 Star Review   By thepixie on AT&T - Oct 28, 2011

After careful research, I decided on the Pantech Impact. This phone is really awesome! It has a pretty design and is very functional. Everywhere I go, at least one person will ask about it. The Impact allows me to do everything i need a phone to do; and it's so easy to use, I have yet to open the book that came with it. I can keep track of all my appointments, pics (which btw it takes great pics for a phone!), and have room for music as well. Some people had complaints of the phone shutting off occasionally, I have yet to have that happen. My only complaint with this phone, is the alarm isn't very loud, so I bought an alarm clock.

Best simple phone
5 Star Review   By Suze80008 on AT&T - Oct 27, 2011

I don't use phones for anyting more than calling and texting. This is by far the best phone i have ever owned. It is highly durable. I left it in my pocket and it went through a full wash cycle, I dropped it in a sink of water, and on the ground numerous times. The phone kept working. I owned it for almost two years and would have kept it longer had i not lost it in a theater.

Great phone fore any age
5 Star Review   By flammy123 on AT&T - Oct 26, 2011

I've had this phone for almost 2 years now. It's finally almost time to get my upgrade. I've dropped it probaly over a hundred times and it still works great. It freezes on occasion but that might be from being dropped. The battery life seems good to me, but I don't use the internet or anything like than. I only text and talk on the phone. The size is O.K. Its could be better but it could be worse. Its very easy to learn and use and the games are pretty fun. The volume on it is one of my least favotie things. Even when its on 1 out of 7 for volume its still really loud, but iff you need it really loud 7 isn't much different from 1. It doesnt have much memory so if you're going to get one I'd get a memory card too. Overall I think it's a very good phone.

5 Star Review   By buzbon on AT&T - Oct 22, 2011

I had this phone for three years and it was my first phone. But I am getting a new one in December. The good thing about this phone is that it`s really good for texting with a full keyboard. I can go a week without my phone dying. It has a good camera. Also I always drop it but it still works perfectly! The bad thing about this phone is that the design is kind of boring and sometimes it just turns off on me. Also the volume is kind of bad. And sometimes when I try to send messages they dont send so people think im ignoring them. Also when im on the phone with people i can`t see my text messages but then other times i can. But I still really love this phone it is my baby!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Best Phone I've Ever Had!
5 Star Review   By Arise on AT&T - Oct 21, 2011

This is absolutely the best phone I've ever owned. It is the perfect phone for any teenager who isn't looking for a smart phone or anything expensive. The best part about it is the design. It's a sleek, cute phone and everything on the phone on the screen is just perfect. I love how it shows your whole conversation, as if you were on an iPhone. The fonts for the phone are so cute and I love how can you choose which one you want. Also, you can choose a color scheme: white, orange, and pink or black, blue, and green. I personally like the white, orange, and pink the best because it's more girly. It sends things really fast since it is 3G, the phone navigates quickly, and I've had it for a month now and it hasn't done anything weird yet. The battery life is amazing. I charge my phone every night and I can use it the whole day without it dying. I am definitely a heavy texter and I text a lot. I really love how you can text on the front of the phone too with the touchscreen dial pad as if it were a flip phone. You can choose for it to vibrate or not, but the vibrate is really cool. The only thing that's not so great about this phone is that sometimes I can't exactly hear when I'm on a call with someone, but that's really it so far. Also, the back of the phone is a little hard to put on, but that's it. Otherwise, this phone is perfect if you don't want something that can't play games or go on the internet without paying money.

Not too shabby
4 Star Review   AT&T

Not a bad phone, the screen is too small for my liking but it's good for texting and the speakers are great! Every now and then it'll freeze up and I have to restart the phone which gets annoying after awhile. The graphics for the exterior of the phone is literally old school like when the first nokia cell phones came out! But overall it's not too shabby.

not so great of a phone. loved it when i first got it but that quickly changed. the battery cover is very flimsy and broke off both of the two times i got this phone. if my messages get full, the phone freezes, even on automatic delete setting. the .com button is next to the . button so it is easy to accidentally press, which is annoying. the front screen is poor quality and scratches on my earrings. limited use of features on front screen. camera is in an awkward place. battery is surprisingly good.

5 Star Review   By SarahLovesViolin on AT&T - Oct 20, 2011

This phone is amazing and completely indestructible. I've dropped it from high distances and it hasn't broke yet. It has dents on the sides a little bit but that's the worst it will ever get. I have water damage but it still works perfectly in every way. It's a little heavy and it freezes a little bit if you do things with it too quickly. Overall, this phone is great.

OKay, so this is the phone that I had, the first phone that is, that i had for over a year. it was pretty flippin awesome! the only thing that was bad was the design and display of it. it looked freakishly weird. but getting on internet was fairly easy. however, since i am a constant phone lover, i needed something that i thought was going to be better. sooooo i got the htc tilt2 (which has been discontinued from att now) and this phone most definitely is not as great as it should be. now im looking to getting the motorola atrix the next time i am able to get a great phone!

Good phone!
4 Star Review   By hoshnap on AT&T - Oct 5, 2011

I've had this phone for a while now. It is extremely durable, as I drop my phone at least 20 times a day. The qwerty keyboard is huge and easy to use, and the front buttons are nice to look at messages. The camera isn't the best, but it has a decent quality and it just takes a little time to figure out how to hold the phone so your fingers don't get in the way of the picture. It doesn't let you take pictures unless the phone is open though, no big deal. The battery life is good, only if I'm on my phone, texting all day, and surfing the web does it even try to die. Issues I have: Randomly, if I'm getting too many messages at a time, etc, it will just restart. It started pretty soon in, but it's a fast reboot so no big deal. Only annoying when you're texting back and it shuts down. It's extremely easy to unlock the phone in your pocket, so I'll call the first person in my address book a lot. Other than that, this phone is pretty awesome. I'm a girl but the pink was too icky, so I went for the blue. I'm sure I'll upgrade soon, but this phone had been a great phone for now!

Great and Easy to use
5 Star Review   By Tess50 on AT&T - Oct 4, 2011

This phone is very comfortable in your hand and the keyboard is perfect, not too touchy and very easy to use. Navigating through the menu is easy and not too complicated to learn. The weight of the phone in your hand is good and the phone is very sturdy. The touch screen is a little touchy and takes some getting used to but overall I would give this phone an "excellent" rating.

Low Quality Phone!
3 Star Review   By MG2011 on AT&T - Oct 3, 2011

I must admit, this phone is very durable. I have dropped it many times and it still comes through with only a few scratches. But otherwise, this phone is terrible! It drops every other call I make, about an hour after fully charging it, it's already down to 2 bars left! It doesn't allow me to record something then put it as my ringtone, It can only hold about 4 conversations at a time until it runs out of room and sometimes, I don't get texts from people until about 5 hours after they send it! I would NOT recommend this phone to anyone and hope to get a new one soon.

5 Star Review   By fairygirl7321 on AT&T - Sep 28, 2011

I have had my impact for over a year, I was happy with it from the beginning and have had no complaints. This phone can withstand almost anything...kids, dropping it, taking a dunk in the toilet...and it still works like it did the first day i got it!!! The back battery cover is the only flaw I found with the phone....it fits poorly and has tendancies to pop off...but clear packing tape works for me :-) If the battery cover was tight and properly fitting, to me this would be a flawless phone! I intend to get another impact should this one fail me at some point

Good Phone!
3 Star Review   AT&T

This is a solid and durable phone. The touch screen on the exterior is not one that most are accustomed to using for anything entertaining. One cannot play games on the touch screen. It is a dedicated dial, text and address book tool. The QWERTY keyboard on the inside as you flip the phone open is handy and the color display inside the flip is clear and colorful, but this is not a touch screen. In other words, if you are hooked on touch screen applications and such, this may not be the phone for you. As far as the quality of pictures and video, it lives up to its claims. You'll be able to take good not great pictures and video that is okay. The alarm features and volume is great and so are the other practical tools, stop watch, clock, calendar and such. This is not the most high tech phone on the market so expect a practical, good to make calls on cellphone if you decide to order this one.

Fine for texting, NOT talking.
2 Star Review   By breezee on AT&T - Sep 27, 2011

I bought this phone because it's attractive, fits nicely in my hand and has a full keyboard for texting. If I would have known the touch screen freezes, I would have purchased something else. When I buy a phone I want to be able to talk first, text second. If I could hang up after my conversation, I would love this phone. It sounds like a minor thing but it happens constantly and gets extremely frustrating.

An okay phone!
3 Star Review   By Rutter14 on AT&T - Sep 24, 2011

Well this phone was nice when I first got it.I liked the design of it and how it's not touch screen. It has very good battery life, and I text all the time so I hate to charge my phone in the middle of the day.It also takes very nice and clear pictures! But the buttons sorta confused me, I'd hit the wrong button and it would send me on the web. It froze a lot once I started using it more. I'd go to open a message and the whole phone would freeze. The back broke off a couple months after I got the phone. The paint also chipped off which made it look unreliable. It's a good phone if you can stand the chipped screen and the paint wearing off.Me on the other hands I like a phone that can stay in a good condition regardless you drop it. It would also shut off on me.But the battery itself never game a problem. I dropped the phone in water and never had to put it in rice or dry it out.Worked like the same after that. It's an okay phone but not for me.

I've had this phone for about a year and a half & I cannot stand it. It's the worst phone I've had. I like the design and all. But you can't text/talk without the phone turning off. Then if you're on the phone, they think you hungup on them. This phone doesn't hold charge whatsoever. Today, it overheated. I switched from my Samsung Magnet to this and I sorta want too go back too that phone. I want too get the Sharp FX, but we'll see. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. it should be flushed down the toliet.

2 Star Review   By mandolinj85 on AT&T - Sep 12, 2011

Want to hang up? No, this touch screen is poor quality, the touch screen locks up like you're still talking, but when you talk it will hang up. I have to always open the phone to answer a call and to hang up! Alot of nice features are missing, you can not change your text message alert, and it is a horrid horrid dinging sound and I have yet to find out how to turn down the volume on the alert, and this is not my first phone, I consider myself savvy with cellphones. I also miss being able to pick special rings for certain ppl, don't count on that either. Super dissapointed.

Sturdy, Easy to Operate Phone
4 Star Review   By ageorgian on AT&T - Sep 7, 2011

I have had the blue version of the Pantech Impact since May of 2010. Overall I have been very happy with my phone. I tend to drop things all the time and not a week goes by where I don't drop my phone at least once. The phone is still working the way it was when I originally got it. The messaging is in conversation or instant message format, which I love. It has all the basic tools needed, nothing really fancy, but a calculator, note pad, calender, etc. There are a few cons to this phone. Occasionally the phone will randomly shut off on its own. It only happens to me about once a month, so not a big deal in my opinion. Also, you can't use the auto delete option because every time it comes time for the phone to auto delete, the phone freezes. The phone doesn't have as much memory for text messages as I would like it to, but it has a decent amount of space. Overall, this phone is a sturdy, easy to use phone.

Above average
4 Star Review   By professorhead on AT&T - Sep 7, 2011

I've had this phone for almost a year and a half, and overall it's a generally nice phone. For the first year I had little to no problems with it, it may have frozen up once or twice because of an overly full inbox, but other than that, no problems at all. However, after the first year it started freezing often whenever I got a text; it also restarted itself while I was typing a message or shut off altogether. It shut off another time while I was in the middle of a call (however that has only happened once). Sometimes my texts won't send and I'll have to restart the phone. Although this seems like a lot, I am pretty happy with this phone altogether. It's durable, the battery lasts all day with maximum use and it's excellent for texting. So, despite the occasional issue with it, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs something nice, but not a smartphone.

GREAT for texting and takes really nice pictures...but for talking it is horrible...can barely hear the person on the other line...and forget trying to use the speaker phone (JUST HORRIBLE).

3 Star Review   By bluebonnettx1968 on AT&T - Sep 5, 2011

Standby time supposed to be up to 14 days - had to charge it sometimes 2x a day. Talk time up to 5 hrs - battery was nearly gone after 1.5 hrs. Could not see keyboard in dim light.

Durable good starter phone.
3 Star Review   By Michelle244 on AT&T - Sep 3, 2011

This phone is very durable and easy to navigate. After a while mine started freezing. Texting is easy because the keys are larger and easily spaced and its just like a qwerty keyboard.

Falls to pieces
2 Star Review   By Jake2315 on AT&T - Aug 28, 2011

This phone is good for a few months but then it slowly starts to fall apart. The back becomes really loose, it gets easily scratched and damaged, it restarts every time you open it and the screen is delayed. Not recommended for a two year contact. It won't last.

OK but Wouldn't Recommend
1 Star Review   By iPhoneDad on AT&T - Aug 27, 2011

2 months after I got it, the back cover fell off and wouldn't stay on. The replacement doesn't stay on either. Also, when texting if my conversation is long a message appears that it is "full". I cannot go any further unless I delete the whole thread of messages. When done talking on the phone if I don't hit the "hold" button on the side of the device the phone is "active" and starts entering numbers. Camera feature is slow; it delays capturing the picture by a few seconds.

Not great, not terrible
3 Star Review   By rbgymnast on AT&T - Aug 24, 2011

When I bought this phone I immediately thought it was great because the phone flipped open to a nice big qwerty keyboard that was easy to use which made texting great. The phone also displays your conversations with another person which is good. This first thing I noticed about the phone that I didn't like was the battery life. I had to charge my phone every night and I don't use it all that much. Also, I like to take pictures on my phone but the 2.0 megapixel camera on this phone is not very good. There is also a delay after you hit the shutter button, so forget about taking pictures of moving objects. Nearly all of my pictures are blurry. There also is not a great deal of memory on the phone. I had to buy a Micro SD Card for more space. Finally, after having the phone for about a year and a half, the back plate broke off of the phone leaving the battery exposed. Overall, the phone was not terrible, but it left me axiously awaiting an upgrade.

Good-until the end
4 Star Review   By heyheyhey331 on AT&T - Aug 23, 2011

When i first got it, it was my first phone with a qwerty keypad, so i was pretty excited. I am a huge texter, and not so much a caller, although i do call often enough to make a difference. It is good, except for a few main problems. Often the message box will overfill, too many times, which means you have to delete conversations. The " please delete messages" screen will stay on, and not allow you to do anything unless you close out. If it gets overfilled, and it keeps telling you about it, and you do nothing, it will freeze up. More importantly, i have had this phone for around 2years, have dropped it a fair bit, and have scratched up the front signifigantly. Now, the battery is whirring, but more often clicking. Its driving me crazy. But whats really driving me crazy is how nowalmost every two minutes, IT SHUTS OFF. in the middle of a text. Or worse, in the middle of a call.

not at all pleased with the phone
3 Star Review   By landramoon on AT&T - Aug 23, 2011

the phone is good for texting and its easy to use. but the battery uses up quickly, its a really bulky phone to carry around. the screen is small, does not take very clear pictures and videos are semi blurry. navigating from one thing to another is time consuming. it will freeze up while in use and the memory is very limited. overall the phone has been a very poor choice.

Good phone
4 Star Review   By Elessa on AT&T - Aug 22, 2011

It's a good phone...I honestly recommend it. It has really great tools and features (I always love the feeling when you discover something new about this phone). I wouldn't give points toward this phone being stylish, though. It's a bit clunky to carry around, and if you're looking for a chic, stylish, phone this isn't the phone.

Love this phone other than touch screen freezes.
4 Star Review   By Bullsgirl on AT&T - Aug 18, 2011

I have had my impact for two years . The only problem I have had with it is the touch screen on outside freezes and you will have to open and use keyboard to end calls or push numbers . Love texting on this texts show in conversation bubbles and can continue for weeks or longer depending on how often you text that person and you can look back one multiple conversations you have had. Battery is good depending on usage of phone sometime I can go 2-3 days without charging. Camera takes clear vivid pictures. I have young kids that are always playing with and dropping my phone and have had no problems. Other than the touch screen the Pantect Impact is an awesome phone!!!!

good for somethings. horrible for others.
3 Star Review   By sydneyyyyyyyyyyy on AT&T - Aug 18, 2011

When I first got this phone I loved it. It has a "new/sleek" look, but over time I have grown to see the many disadvantages of this phone. The first thing that bugs me is typing... Neither of the keyboards are really useful. The "touch screen one" is super hard to type with since its not a QWERTY keyboard. The one on the inside is hard to type with since the keys are smushed together and your fingers type multiple letters when just trying to type one... Also, the navorgating key has broken off and chipped. It was because of my long nails, but still. Ive only had my phone for less then a year. Another negative about this phone is trying to hang up while in a call. You have to open the phone to press end, but when you open it, it goes on speaker. That is very annoying........ The phone also sometimes shuts off randomly while im sending a text. I hate it when that happens ! This phone has made me super excited to get a upgrade in a year or so. Hopefully AT&T will give me a better phone this time............

DONT BUY THIS PHONE!!!!
1 Star Review   By senowine on AT&T - Aug 17, 2011

When I first got this phone I loved it but then it dropped & the screen broke so i bought another one. This one i've had for two years & it's been going off by itself, has horrible camera placement plus the camera quality isn't great anyway. It's really good for texting & i can't complain too much on the call quality. All i can say is if you want to constantly find your phone off, it randomly restart itself in the middle of a text, poor camera quality/placement then this is the phone for you. It's also very slippery because of the plastic & its bulky in your pocket. Never buying another pantech phone again because my friend & her mom has phones by them & it does the same annoying things!

This phone has been pretty good for these 2 years.
4 Star Review   By Blaundi on AT&T - Aug 17, 2011

At first I bought this phone because I'd lost my job and wanted something very inexpensive. I thought perhaps I was ready for an upgrade, but in reading some of the reviews for the other phones I was considering, I'll probably keep this little one. It took me a little while to get used to some of its features, but for the most part it's an easy phone to use. I'm not a big Internet user other than at work or on my laptop, so this works just fine. Texting is fine too. This doesn't appear to be a delicate phone so it's pretty durable. I only paid $22 for it a couple of years ago, so I just can't complain.

I cant believe i have to use this for another year
1 Star Review   By SavannahD on AT&T - Aug 17, 2011

I absoulutely LOATHE this phone. I want to throw it out of my car window at 70mph. That is how much i absolutely abhor this horrible monstrosity. It freezes up especially when the inbox is full, it turns on and off randomly, the internet key is too easy to push when you dont have a data plan, so you get charged, you cant send any reasonably long videos because its too much for a message, and the sound quality stinks! The only good thing is that it has good camera/video quality, long battery life, and a good keyboard/navigation. Overall a horriblle phone.

Not to thrilled...
2 Star Review   By Smashley9124 on AT&T - Aug 15, 2011

What I was really looking for in a phone, was one with a full qwerty keyboard that either slide or fliped open to the side, as I primarily use my phone for texting. Overall, I gave this phone three stars. This phone is very simple and doesnt have nearly the stuff my last phone had. I feel like the features are basically non-exsistent. This is why I only gave Features 2 stars. The only major plus that I have seen with this phone is the battery life. As I said before, I mostly text. I have had my phone a week and have only had to charge it twice. The design of this phone is horrible. When talking to someone on the phone, you cannot hang up the call with out opening the phone. This is very aggrivating. Overall, I would not recommend this phone to anyone. I have actually contacted AT&T and I willl be sending it back and getting a different phone.

Great Phone!
5 Star Review   By blander32 on AT&T - Aug 15, 2011

After reading some of the other reviews, I have to say that it sounds like most of them are just really rough on their phones (dropping it, freezing, battery life, etc.) or maybe just not so savvy when it comes to technology (hard to use) because I have never had any major problems with this phone. I do have to say that after one major drop from a locker at work onto a concrete floor, the back didn't fit anymore and I have since just put a bandage over the back so the battery doesn't fall out. But any phone would have taken damage from a fall like that. Otherwise, it's a very durable and reliable phone. Another bad thing is the memory on it, but that's what SD cards are for; no phone has that great of memory. The camera thing is awkward at first, granted, but you get used to it. I've had my Pantech Impact for about a year and a half and I can't wait to upgrade, but not for lack of loving this phone. I just love getting new gadgets more :D I've read some complaints about the front touch screen, and honestly, I really just don't use it at all. It's way easier to just flip it open and use the QWERTY keyboard. HOWEVER! The touch screen is great for quick messages while you're in a movie or something, as it doesn't bother fellow patrons. All in all, I'd say it's a great phone and perfect for first timers and people who don't want something too fancy or complicated (it hardly gets more basic than this). I'd highly recommend it!

Not very good...
3 Star Review   By ChrisN on AT&T - Aug 14, 2011

I got this phone last year and I can't wait till I can get a new one next year. Whenever I open my phone, I have to wait around 5 seconds before i see my background, and not just blackness. I have the back of my phone duck taped on because the back somehow doesn't stay on. The phone is so slow, and randomly it will shut off on my when I'm in the middle of sending a message to my friend. It is also very slow at sending messages.

Dual screens a terrible feature
2 Star Review   By jcooper on AT&T - Aug 12, 2011

I really did not like the dual screen. When I purchased the phone I thought it was a slide out but it was a flip open. When the phone is closed, it has the "black and white" screen that was way way too small to read entire messages on. The camera only works when the phone is flipped open and it is hard to not hold your fingers over the lens. I HATED this. It drove me crazy trying to work the camera. Messaging/texting was difficult on the front touchscreen, but easy when the phone was flipped open. I returned this phone and got a Samsung Soltice II and I LOVE my new Samsung.

Meh.
3 Star Review   By MycatYourface on AT&T - Aug 11, 2011

I like the keyboard its really easy to text with and lights up in the dark also, I like the battery it lasts me almost 3 whole days. I do NOT like the look its a little bulky and whenever you drop it the battery falls out and you have to restart the phone, another thing is when you text alot (i do) almost everyday a message wiil pop up that says "Messages Full" and you have to delete alot of messages before you can send/receive a message, fnally not many people mentioned this but the brightness when all the way down is still really bright so if your texting in a movie is really bright. but all in all it's ok i would recomend to someone getting there first phones ...oh also it doesn't have texting signature :( also, phone calls crash .......as im writingI'm rembering all the flaws
