Keeps Breaking
1 Star Review   By Ihatemyphoneredlumia920 on AT&T - Aug 29, 2013

I am on my 4th warranty replacement, Every other month the power/lock button stops working and eventually the other buttons start going. The screen gets random phantom fingers where it just starts going nuts like someone is rubbing their fingers all over it even when it is sitting with nothing near it. the flash frequently dies. I really wanted to like this phone, but the hardware problems alone are terrible, and the windows phone software has it's own problems, firstly the app store is tiny and mostly junk, the tile interface is great, but other than that there is no real customization. The notification icons on the top disappear in all apps, you have to lock/unlock the phone to see the clock, there is no multitasking, you can only go back, the back button is universal, so if you are web browsing and open a new tab and go back to the original and try to use the back button it will not go back a page, it goes to the last app you were using. Overall a disappointing phone.

Awesome phone, with extraordinary features, and the best camera on smartphone
5 Star Review   By somaustin on AT&T - Aug 27, 2013

When I first held the phone in hand, I felt it bulky, but I got it used to it, it is not so heavy, especially when you look at the build quality, it does feel very sturdy, i have never put up a case. Coming to features, WP8 is awesome, camera is amazing, takes the best anytime photos, and low-light photos are stunning, nothing even comes close. and why Nokia? Nokia is well known for their support. I am really enjoying the phone, hope they continue making good phones.

Horrible Battery and Picture/Group messaging is spotty
3 Star Review   By Melwal06 on AT&T - Jul 25, 2013

I had my first one for 6 months, had to get a warrenty replacement for poor battery life, no pic messages and no group messages. On my 2nd one and about to go back in and demand a totally different phone 8 months into my contract because it seems like the same issue are happening. Also, you can't make playlists on your phone which is super annoying.

IT'S NOT WORTH IT
3 Star Review   By superman847 on AT&T - Jun 17, 2013

This phone has a nice sleek look and it very easy to learn how to use, BUT IT IS BORING! I wanted to be different and a new phone with a different operating system besides iOS and Android, but that was a BIG MISTAKE. if you are a SOCIAL PERSON, DO NOT buy this phone because it is missing many social network apps such as snapchat and instagram. Most of the apps aren't from America and are somewhat cheap. PLus is Android or iPhone get a new fun app, Windows Phone, would probably get it like 3 years later when it won't be as popular. PLEASE don't make the same mistake I did, just get an iPhone. On the other hand if you want an easy and simple phone get this one.

Nokia has a winner here!
5 Star Review   By xping49 on AT&T - Jun 11, 2013

When I upgraded recently, I started with a Blackberry Z10 (I'll review that separately) and wasn't happy with it so I paid the $35 restocking fee and after some research, decided to try the Nokia 920. I am SO much happier with this phone. For many years, Nokia held a huge part of the cell phone market, then it seemed like they dropped off the face of the earth. Well, Nokia's back in the game. They have a winner with this phone, in my opinion... and I'm picky about my phones. (My last phone was an iPhone, the one before that was a Blackberry Torch, and I've had some Samsungs, and an LG which was my second favorite phone.) What I like: I like colors and the Nokia 920 gives you five choices. I picked the yellow. It also has a number of different colored backgrounds you can choose from. The Windows operating system just makes things intuitive and simple for me since I'm familiar with using a Windows computer. You can choose what apps show up on your home page, re-size the "tiles", and move them around any way you want. Very customizable. The display is large and bright so it's super easy to read... sometimes I don't even need my glasses. Of course you can enlarge the text or make it smaller as needed. The home page shows date and time in large letters which is very handy. It has a bunch of different and interesting ring tones (the Blackberry's ring tones were boring). The first couple of days the battery kept draining really fast. In fact, one night before bed, I had it charged to 100% and (without using it at all) in the morning it was down to 5%. I was ready to take it back to the AT&T store! Then I decided to do some online research to see if the problem was fixable. The Nokia website was very helpful... tells you specific things that eat up battery power and how to turn them off if you don't need them. Directions were easy to follow, and it completely fixed the problem. Now if I start at 100% at the beginning of the day, after using it all day, I might be down to around 22% when I go to bed that night. Not bad for a smartphone. (I think people pretty much expect to charge a smartphone daily - they're all like that in my experience.) Some people critique Windows phones because they don't have as many apps as the iPhone (Apple). But I only use a few apps, and I care more about the quality of the apps than the quantity, so I really don't care about that. I've been able to find all the apps I need plus a couple of good games. I'm happy with it. How I use my phone: I talk on the phone minimally, text a LOT, pick up e-mail from four different accounts, use the calendar, check weather, play games (love the logic puzzles... that's an app I paid $0.99 for) and use the GPS occasionally. I'm not a heavy web surfer but I might follow a link or look something up now and then. I look at Facebook now and then. I also have a free app I use for my "to do" list, and to take general notes (ideas, etc.). I take photos occasionally and the camera seems to be very good although I'm not really a photography buff so don't judge by me. I can say it's easy to use. The navigation and operation of this phone, in general, is easy to learn and use. I try not to talk about "loving" inanimate objects, so I'll just say I really like this phone a lot. Highly recommend it. Nokia's back!

Issues at first, works great now, app selection is lacking
3 Star Review   By RobertT on AT&T - Jun 11, 2013

I have an Android for personal and this Lumia for work. When I first got it I experienced the random shutting down. I wiped it and did a software update before installing any apps and it has worked fine since. The phone is solidly built and the OS is fast and efficient. Screen is bright and crisp, camera is excellent. I would not own a windows phone for my personal due to the lack of apps. There are only 5 apps I use on a regular basis and NONE of them are available on windows. IHeartRadio isn't even available. It's been 9 months and nothing.

Elegant/Durable and Easy to Use
5 Star Review   By jose6980 on AT&T - May 29, 2013

I had an Iphone for fun and a Blackberry for work. I purchased the Cayan Nokia Lumia 920 and it has outperformed both my Iphone and Blackberry. Nokia Lumia 920 is an elegantly design piece of equipment. It has the Nokia build quality and you feel it when in your hand. It is heavier than my previous phones, but I have a much larger screen which is great for surfing and taking photos, something I do a lot also part of the weight is attributable to a larger battery. When you factor in that you do not need/want to buy a cover for this elegant/durable phone or carry a spare battery or charger it eliminates the heavy label given by critics. I have dropped this phone onto a cement sidewalk more than once and not a scratch on the phone. The phone works all the time and is extremely fast with Windows OS. I love the tiles with live updates and customization, being able to glance at the Start screen and seeing live update stock quotes, weather, messages, emails, notifications from facebook etc. is very productive. I am able to do an excel spreadsheet on the phone and email it immediately. I use One notes and many of the Office applications for work and to keep track of daily activities. I suggest that you try this phone for yourself and not just listen to critics. I have use this phone for more than 6 months and will not go back to IOS or BB, after one month of seeing my phone, my wife upgraded to a yellow Nokia 920 from her Iphone 4s and she also loves her Nokia and does not miss anything from IOS. We both have the wireless chargers in matching colors and it is a pleasure to walk into our bedroom and just lay the phone on the chargers till the next mornings with no plugging and unplugging cables. I am trying to be objective and find a fault with this phone, but have a very difficult time in doing so. If I must find something that took awhile to adjust too, then it is not having a keyboard like I did with the blackberry, because I reply to a lot of emails. After a few months I type just as fast on my Nokia 920 as I used too on BB. Nokia has great unique apps, specially for finding places to eat or visit. Get your hands on this phone, you will not be disappointed.

run away!
1 Star Review   AT&T

17 days in - abysmal battery life and random shutdowns or crashes. I've had to turn off just about everything - wifi, bluetooth, nfc, had to dim the screen, eliminate sounds in order to keep the battery alive, and even with minimal use it's been poor. Tonight while out the phone shut down or crashed again, and wouldn't turn back on for several hours (it was almost fully charged when this occurred). It looks good, has a nice camera, and the design is nice, but functionally it's been poor in my experience, and the available apps are extremely limited.

Great phone, very supportive company!
5 Star Review   By Kel26 on AT&T - Jan 29, 2013

I have been an Iphone owner since the first generation was released. I decided to try something a bit different this time around, and have been VERY happy. After upgrading my home machine to windows 8 I figured I might as well go all in with Microsoft and purchase a windows phone. I cold not be happier. The Nokia device has a very solid build, beautiful colors and a very vibrant screen. Being a new OS, it is a little behind, but I have full faith that Microsoft will bring it up to snuff in short order. The only issues I have had has been X-box music. The desktop and "metro" companion app are a train wreck, And need some tweaks to make it more than just a little useful. Playlists are a nightmare to transfer to the phone unless you are using a third party app to create and transfer them to the phone (Itunes for me) Everything else about this phone is incredible. The camera is amazing!

A soild phone that is both easy and fun to use
5 Star Review   By Jdriscoll636 on AT&T - Jan 20, 2013

I love my red Nokia Lumia 920. It's easy to use, has a ton of features, and the camera is over the top. Everyone I show my phone to falls in love with it. The phone as good battery life, and a crystal clear display. The GPS on this phone is amazing. The GPS on this phone is so accurate it can the exact building my apartment is in, no just the general vicinity.

I own this device and for the price it's the best phone on the market. The only device that can compete would be the HTC ONE X+.
5 Star Review   By studio52 on AT&T - Jan 15, 2013

I want to start by saying that this was the hardest decision I've ever made on choosing a new smartphone. Every manufacturer and OS has something incredible to offer. I can't express how much I really like the Android OS and Apple's hardware has always been top notch. This has the best of both worlds. Initially I was set on the Galaxy S3 or the HTC ONE X+. I went into the store to buy one or the other, but was drawn to this device. Went home to do some research on this device and read some reviews. After close consideration I decided on this for many reasons and very satisfied with my final decision. The Lumia 920 is extremely durable, built from poly-carbonate. (The same material used to for shatter proof glass and Astronaut Helmets) So the phone is a little bit heavier that it's competitors. However, it's almost indestructible, I've seen it dropped from 10 feet. It's really really durable. In most cases the iPhone or S3 still can't pass the hip drop test. You can always use a case on your iPhone and cover up that sleek design the manufacturer worked so hard to perfect. With the Lumia 920 that isn't an issue. I bought one for me and one for me and my girl friend. She is very rough on phones, leaving them in her purse with keys always scratching the screens or dropping them. That's no longer a concern with the Lumia 920, I see myself saving on an expensive deductibles. As a heavy XBOX360 user the XBOX integration and smart glass was a big plus as well as the XBOX music. I can listen my music and get achievements on XBOX LIVE account. (Not something that will be an option on Android or iOS) Facebook looks better and works better. - Camera takes amazing pics, that with each new firmware update become increasingly better. -Screen is very vibrant and responsive. -Battery is amazing. After conditioning the battery, can easily get a full day with heavy use. At first it seemed like listening to music was lacking in intensity with over the ear headphones, but after close comparison, I realized that the 920 offers a crisp and clear sound. However without the headphones, the 920 plays so loud that it's almost unbearable to listen to over 2/3 (Not because of quality, it's just that loud)

Nokia Lumia 920
5 Star Review   By Kammeier on AT&T - Dec 27, 2012

Ive had this phone for two days and I love it. First of all, it looks great. The 920 is a bit curvier than the 900 and feels thinner, too. I got it in white, but all the colors look pretty good. Its also extremely easy to use. This is my first smartphone and in 20 minutes I was customizing the phone and downloading apps (about the apps...there are tons of them, anything you want you can find). Downloading and processing speeds are super fast. The WIFI capability is great, too, because it saves on your data usage. There really isnt anything to complain about with this phone. I highly recommend it.

forget the iphone 5 and galaxy 3
5 Star Review   By PhysicistDude on AT&T - Dec 4, 2012

From the build, to the camera, to the operating system.. This phone is near flawless. I've owned the iPhone 4, 4s , galaxy s3 and none hold a candle to the quality of this phone. The screen is fantastic, its a bit heavy.. But its a comfortable heavy. The charging plate works exactly like it should. The operating system is refreshing. Its not all over the place like android, and its not the same boring ios. I was scared about owning a windows phone but I went on a whim and bought it and I have no regrets and very satisfied. Nokia is underrated but if people buy this phone they'll realize why everyone owned one back in the day. Thank you Nokia and att. Very satsfied

get this as soon as you can. after 3 weeks used, totally in love
5 Star Review   By GuitarGuy on AT&T - Nov 30, 2012

was frustrated for the 1st week about the battery life. I thought it was horrible, after 4-5 hours heavy used, the baterry ran down to 30%. So disappointed. However, I did some homework and now, I got 8 hrs used and till have 40% left. So happy. Do urself a favor, get this phone and following this:[...] Problem solved. Beside that, love everything. Lumia 920 is amazing compare to my old plastic galaxy note 1 and the old styled iPhone. Best phone ever from Nokia. Best phone yet
5 Star Review   By fodstarving33 on AT&T - Nov 29, 2012

I've been an iPhone 3S & 4 owner and I've been a flagship android owner three times. The shackles of the apple ecosystem, the small screens of the iphones, the fragmentation of the android system and the shear level of basic functions that endlessly failed on my android phones (many times it wouldnt even ring when someone was calling) were all extremely annoying to me which is why I tried the Lumia 920. I felt Windows phone was finally ready and might provide the alternative I've been looking for. On 95% of things, it delivers. The phone works great. Call quality is good. The OS makes iOS and android look dated. The camera is great. The build quality is amazing. The screen is awesome. The wireless charging is the cherry on top. There are still some bugs though in software or things that nokia and microsoft have yet to address. A little more control over the OS would be nice, for instance turning off 4G connectivity is not an option to save battery. I also miss shotcuts to system settings like turning wifi on and off with a tile instead of navigating to the settings.

Best phone I've ever owned
5 Star Review   By laserfloyd on AT&T - Nov 26, 2012

I wanted to give this thing a couple of weeks before writing a review. This is an amazing device on several fronts. The software and hardware are top notch. The camera (still/video) is really stunning. The display is super clear and large. Calls sound great. Web browsing is zippy with speed. For the price you just can't beat it. I would recommend getting one of the matte finish devices though if you don't like smudges. Red was gorgeous but it was a smudge magnet. I replaced it with matte black and it's just awesome looking. It's a head turner and doesn't look like a generic device in any capacity. Get one.

The best windows phone ever!
5 Star Review   By davetester on AT&T - Nov 25, 2012

I have always been a iPhone user. A friend of mine has conned me into upgrading to the 920; so glad that I did. This phone is so much better than the iPhone! The phone is a bit big in the hand; the camera and photos are great. This phone never freezes like the iPhone. The phone is extremely fast!

Great Phone for a small price
5 Star Review   By RobbedMD on AT&T - Nov 23, 2012

The is a great phone with super fast speed and bigger screen than the iphone5. I have 5 iphone user in my family but once I switch to this Nokia 920 everybody wants to get one. Need a little time to get used to the window8 OS but once you get into it you will forget about the ios. Great picture qulity and the convenient camera button. A little bit too heavy compare with iphone5 but with the big screen and bright color you will fall in love with this phone.

Good riddance i-control your life-tunes
5 Star Review   By Kansas88 on AT&T - Nov 21, 2012

A phone and an OS that meet in the middle that compliment each other beyond words. I've had many iphone users in the last week say "Wow! What phone is that?!?" Most of them are now going to the Lumia 920 because the whole "get an extra row of icons iphone5 for several hundred dollars more" and the new apple update has slowed down their 4S phones even more. Oh and also did you hear the one about "An apple fan walks into a bar, sits down in their usual seat and orders their ususal drink but this time they paid a little more" Don't be that apple fan!

Doesn't get any better than this
5 Star Review   By krissrock on AT&T - Nov 21, 2012

Windows Phone is great OS. Much more interesting than the static home pages of iPhones and Androids. live tiles are simply the most innovative feature of any smart phone. The 920 is bigger phone, but the camera screen are definitely worth it. The speakers are probably the best our I've ever heard! More user friendly and smoother than android's...and faster than iPhones

Great phone with a great OS
5 Star Review   By Quab on AT&T - Nov 19, 2012

Don't be scared of the Windows 8 interface, it's great. I went from owning iPhones for the last 5 years to this and it's a huge improvement. It does all the major things my old phones with with a bunch of improvements. The way the OS integrates your contacts is just amazing, all my families updates and statuses are right there in a single group. I never have to launch a separate app just to check on their various social groups, it's all just right there in the People tab or in custom groups I make. City Scout is awesome and much faster than having to pull up Yelp, and it has a cleaner interface. The Drive app works well and is much faster than what I'm used to. The camera is the best part however, I got this phone because of all the reviews on the camera. It's video is so smooth, and the low light capabilities are great when you're taking indoor shots without a flash (new born hates it). I was able to take a video, upload it to my Sky Drive and share it with the grandparents easily, which I was a little worried about but worked well. Yes it's a little heavy but I like the heft and I love the screen size and color. Yes it doesn't have the app support that I'm used to but it does 80% of what my iPhone did and app support will come in time. The only thing I miss about my iPhone is the notifications on the lock screen and if enough people complain maybe they put something in? But all in all it really is a great phone, everyone I show this phone to is impressed hopefully more people get this phone so more dev's will actually write interesting software for it.

Its hard to review the phone separate from its OS.
3 Star Review   By Ophers on AT&T - Nov 16, 2012

I wanted to be as fair as possible hence the middleground 3 star rating but I honestly would not recommend this phone to my freinds for a number of reasons and let me state this first, I was extremely excited for this phone. I had owned only iphones since the 2G to the 4s and saw a preview of the lumia 920 and was amazed...and then I got it. To keep things short and concise, the phone from an asthetic point is incredible and IMO unmatched. I chose the cyan and could not have been happier with the look and feel. The sturdiness is also unmatched, go look at some torture tests against it. The only other plus I can give this phone is its insanely amazing camera which takes great (not amazing but still great) photos but takes incredible videos like you wouldnt beleive. The speed of the phone itself is also incredible. From a hardware perspective there are few downfalls. The largest would be the battery performance and wow is it bad, It has been a common complaint from 920 users that batteries are draining very fast and charging very slow, which to me is a large disadvantage. The only other hardware problem is the rapid heat this phone produces. Very quickly and seamingly for no reason the phone gets very hot. A last nit pick would be that the "super sensitive display" does not recognize all objects such as normal pen tips which isnt a big deal at all but was a bit of an annoyance for me. Now your probably wondering why I dont like the phone or wouldnt recommend it with all these great pluses and it is due to the phones OS which limits this phone so much. Since it is exclusive to the windows OS I think its fair to incorporate it into the reveiw since it limits what the phone can do. Also to keep things simple, the app store honestly feels like a joke. It feels like all the devs are starting out (which is fine but the entire marketplace feels this way) other than the few large name apps that have been ported over. The lack of customization is also a huge downfall and thats coming from an iOS user (albeit jailbroken)! The lockscreen feels so limited, no quick reply to sms, no lock flashlight, and the notifications are limited to a few apps. Now while I believe that an amazing camera, incredible sturdiness, and awesome look make the phone incredible from a hardware perspective, you sadly cant do much of anything with all of that due to the OS and that is why I am trading in this phone (within 14 day trial period). If the things Ive mentioned dont matter to you and you would be satisfied with what is a very simple and simple to use OS then by all means get this phone, but if you need some terrific apps and strong customization options then I would suggest looking elsewhere.

This Phone Is Absolutely Beautiful!
5 Star Review   By Annah4Texting on AT&T - Nov 15, 2012

I can not say it enough but the Windows Phone 8 software is the most gorgeous, easy to use, interface I have ever used. I've used Android, IOS and webOS. Windows Phone 8 on the Nokia Lumia 920 is a match made in heaven. I log into my MS account and my contacts populate and flip over and its so cool to watch. I feel like my Lumia 920 is made just for me, seriously, not a cookie cutter phone like the Iphone. I'm sorry but everybody's iphone looks the same except maybe the cases. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Skype integration is second to none. The built in apps that make it easier to use is definitely intuitive. I love my Lumia 920! It is the best designed phone and software on the market.

The sexiest phone today
5 Star Review   By Daniel28 on AT&T - Nov 15, 2012

I love this phone. The color pops and it's built like a Ferrari -- every detail is well thought out. The curved glass that blends seamlessly into the body of the phone. The absolutely gorgeous screen. Even the AT&T and NOKIA logos are made out of beautiful reflective metal. This phone is absolutely gorgeous. That's just the hardware. The operating system is fantastic as well. Best Start screen on any phone, rooms, groups, photos -- it's all a step up from iOS and two steps up from Android. Also, this phone has the BEST typing experience on any smartphone, bar none. Yes, this phone is heavier than many. But don't let that bother you. This phone FEELS solid and well constructed. I love the heft of it.

Moved from Iphone4 to Lumia 920 - love the new phone
5 Star Review   By Catzrule on AT&T - Nov 15, 2012

I purchased 2 phones for my wife and I. AT&T - the price and spec's of the phone are great. It would have costed me double if I went to Iphone5. I really like the Windows 8 phone OS. There is a little bit of a learning curve. It took me about 20-minutes to get the hang of it all. Not bad, but for someone who is less technical it might take little longer. Well worth it though, this phone does a lot. I connected the phone to my Win7 pc, downloaded the app to move my Itunes music over. It worked great and no problems. all my music, playlist are on the new phone. I do not use Zune, but from what I read some people have issues moving music over from Zune.

Not (yet) perfect but a really awesome phone
5 Star Review   By EErriinn on AT&T - Nov 15, 2012

I got my red Lumia 920 at the store the first day in came out. Initially wanted a cyan. Compared the cyan (Lumia 900, they didn't have a cyan 920) with the red Lumia 920 and decided to go with the glossy red. The phone feels just right on my hand, not too small and not too big. The curved back adds a nice touch to it. Though many bloggers/reviewers were complaining about the weight, I honestly don't know what they are talking about. I can navigate the phone with one hand with ease and don't think that it is heavy at all. The screen is awesome, bright and feels so smooth. Camera is great for night shot/low light. Day time pictures though could be improved. Hope Nokia will release the firmware upgrade for it in the near future. Wireless charging and Nokia Drive+ app (turn-by-turn navigation - offline supoprt) are just great added bonus. This phone is not perfect but it is real darn close. The best I have used yet.

Happily surprised :)
5 Star Review   By TBeezy on AT&T - Nov 15, 2012

I want to start by saying I have been a loyal iPhone user for some time now. But i was getting tired of it. The changes that Apple made to the 5 were very disappointing to me. I went into my local AT&T store fully expecting to leave with the iPhone 5 or Samsung galaxy. I was stopped in my tracks by the Nokia Lumina! After learning about its features and checking it out with a lot of coaching from the sales rep, I decided to try it out. I can't believe how much I like it. The phone is beautiful and easy to use. It is a little heavy, but very solid. I love the selection of apps as well as the features that come with it.

This has to be the best smartphone I've ever used, and I've been using them for almost a decade now. Everything about this phone is amazingly fast. The UI is smooth and responsive. The LTE is even faster than WiFi. The camera takes great pictures. The NFC and wireless charging just add to the coolness. The phone is heavier than other phones I've used, but not annoyingly so. Really it just feels solid and well built.

Outstanding screen, good sound quality on calls, great camera
5 Star Review   By Lexodrama on AT&T - Nov 14, 2012

It is a phone after all, so I'll start by saying the sound quality is very good on my end and I've had no negative comments from the other end. The earpiece has good volume and the speaker phone loud enough in normal use but perhaps a bit soft for noisy settings. I have rarely had issues with dropped calls on AT&T, and that has continued thus far on the Lumia 920. As others have said, the screen is outstanding. You really need to see it to understand what everyone is talking about. Colors pop off the screen. When I touch one of those great Windows Phone live tiles, I half expect my finger to actually dip into the color and create ripples: the screen is that vivid. Windows Phone OS has always been fast, fluid and does not lag. That continues to be true on the speedy dual core processor in the 920. The camera is fast and the controls are intuitive. Photos are very good but video really benefits more from the optical image stabilization and is truly the best you'll see on a phone.

High Quality Hardware and Slick OS
5 Star Review   By MFrenchLouisvilleKY on AT&T - Nov 14, 2012

I am an iPhone convert. I have been using iOS for years, and I have to admit I was concerned that I would miss it. For those worried about losing your old unlimited data plan, stop. I called AT&T, expressed that I didn't want to give up my unlimited plan, and BAM! - unlimited LTE data plan. Don't take no for an answer! I don't miss my iPhone at all. I bought the cyan Nokia Lumia 920 and my first impression is WOW. The screen is bright and colorful and the Windows 8 OS is smooth and intuitive. The Nokia app suite is great and makes up for a few of the glaring apps missing (Drive, Maps, Music, etc). Some people say it's heavy and I have to admit I noticed it when I first picked it up. Then I never noticed it again, perhaps I was transfixed by the screen quality. #1 CON Lack of Apps. Everyone is saying it, and that's because its true. Don't expect to find Hulu, Pandora, Starbucks, etc on here... Yet. Power button is in an location, it is award to have to hit it when holding it with one hand.

step forward for Microsoft
4 Star Review   By HTCowner on AT&T - Nov 14, 2012

The great for me: no Zune anymore!(not sure it is just Nokia or any win 8 phone) Windows PC can see device as mass storage, so feel free to move whatever files in-out.. There are also beta version of microsoft sync app as well: sync Itunes or PC catalog. 4 stars: phone a little bit bulky by today's standards. It's heaviness actually makes solid feel. Like having digital camera with metal case versus cheap plastic. But it lacks slimness of Samsung phones. somewhat not elegant... Well, sansung in better position to make custom chips for phones. And still old problem: it cannot open password protected office documents. Microsoft can not open documents from microsoft. Android office can...

Awesome all around phone!!
5 Star Review   By JoeConsumer on AT&T - Nov 14, 2012

After reading all the pre-release reviews about how the phone is bulky is a joke..The phone is perfect fits great in the hands. It is really a gorgeous looking phone a person really has to see it in person, pictures do no justice. The phone is fast and clarity it outstanding. Coming from an iphone (bleh) could only take so many years of the same thing. This phone is a night and day difference. Nokia music is a plus..pretty much the same thing as pandora but more of a different variety of music. I didnt think too much of the wireless charging but it actually is pretty cool and convenient, you just set your phone on and take it off..for some reason feels so much more convenient. By the way camera is outstanding!! Definatly would recommend this phone!!

great phone!
5 Star Review   By goodnature on AT&T - Nov 14, 2012

First let me say: I am simply amazed with the build quality and the ease of use of the interface. I got the phone on Friday, Nov 9th (preordered on the 7th). I will start with the basics: The voice quality is much better and realistic than anything I have used before. The OS is very responsive and I like its usability. I was new to Windows Phone interface, it took me less than few hours to learn the ins and outs. Very intuitive interface. The camera is simply amazing - but please do not relly just on the auto settings. Few words about the included Nokia applications. While you can find similar functionalty elsewhere, having a company like Nokia stand behind them is a big plus. I was also delighted by the playlists in the Nokia Music. Regarding the available apps, I found what I need on the MarketPlace. I am sure there will be people who will find some things missing - I hope the wait won't be long. Finally, about the battery life - mine lasted full day the first two days (as a new toy you can imagine that my usage was above average). After that I was able to go for two days. So, I am happy with the battery life. And BTW, the phone weigth is NOT an issue.

Great phone, awesome upgrade from even a lumia 900!
5 Star Review   AT&T

Really love the phone, I've had it for about a week now and It's been really great. The battery life has been fair (from 6am to ~8pm with average use), and the new Win 8 features are really great, getting used to Rooms, Kid Zone, and the new adjustable tile size. Can't wait for my wireless charging pad to arrive. I've had the Focus, Lumia 900 and now the 920 and there are huge improvements in each mode. I personally like the size and weight and it feels like it's unbreakable. The Focus felt like it was going to fly away sometimes. The new tile sizes allow you to fit a lot more on the screen at once, really like that, and also I like that app settings are now roaming in Skydrive. The integration with office is a huge win, I opened the office app and all of my recent docs were already in the list ready to be opened, FANTASTIC feature. I wish the Game states would roam, but I guess not all apps have implemented the features to do that, it makes resetting or upgrading your phone a big deal. It took me about 2 hours to move everything over (reinstall apps), and configure the phone. I haven't been able to play with the TAP+SEND stuff yet, but looking forward to it later this weekend. XBOX music is great, have a subscription and my playlists and music roam with me. I wish my full collection could roam, but not everything is in the marketplace. Overall I think this is the best phone I've ever had!

Nokia Brings Back the Sexy

5 Star Review   By Penile on AT&T - Nov 13, 2012

This device is top notch. I tested the HTC 8x for a couple of days as well and it doesn't compare. Touch sensitivity on the 920 is the best I have seen on any phone. The application startup time is excellent. Browsing, switching between apps is very smooth. This device reminds me of how I felt when I got the original iPhone 2g (I can't put the thing down).

I threw my iPhone away and never looked back. Great job nokia.

4 Star Review   By nicenurse10 on AT&T - Nov 13, 2012

I am not going to write those general stuff that we all know about, I just want to say why its not perfect from my experience. Problems on my 3 day old Lumia 920: 1. I bought this phone 3 days, and I noticed that there's some dust in it. 2. the vibration is rattle, as for how rattle, go to store and check it out... anyway every phone has problems, no perfect phone, but it is not recommended unless Nokia fix those problems.

5 Star Review   By Juliacm2 on AT&T - Nov 13, 2012

I will be brief and just say iPhone has great software but is behind on the hardware, android has great hardware but glitchy software. The 920 with wp8 is the perfect combination of hardware and software. Runs incredibly quick and smoothly, full of incredible hardware features like wireless charging, nfc, and the high sensitivity screen (for use with gloves). The screen is absolutely gorgeous and the look and feel of the phone is perfect to me. Nokia really outdid themselves on this phone, and for a great cost.

Honestly, best phone I have ever used. First I had an iPhone, then I had an HTC One X, and now I have this Lumia 920 in Matte Black. This is the best phone I have used hands down. The camera is phenomenal, especially in low light. Facebook integration is seemless! I don't even need to go into the facebook app because it includes everything I'd want to see in my contacts! The phone is solid, and super pretty! Everyone asks about it!

5 Star Review   By ReallyCommentReviewer on AT&T - Nov 12, 2012

After waiting two years for Apple to update my i4, I had enough of their disappointments. This phone is everything the iPhone5 should have been and more. I was a little leery about moving to a new OS such as Windows but boy am I glad I did. Such great built-in features of Windows and the live tiles are just a no-brainer Apple should have done years ago. The interface is slick, fast and efficient but very pleasing to the eyes, and Nokia hit a homerun with the hardware. Camera is amazing in video mode and low light. Daylight photos are a but washed out but still better than my iPhone4 camera. Unit feels solid and it's no heavier than an iPhone in an otterbox. The big difference is the weight is evenly distributed unlike the iPhone where I was constantly dropping it. Nokia has a video up where they drive a nail into wood with the screen of this phone. It's the most beautiful tank I've ever seen. Buying one for my wife soon. Get one!

the best windows phone
5 Star Review   By sizoc on AT&T - Nov 12, 2012

I like it first when I got it from AT&T. It feels so good on my hands and figure touch. It was a little heavy and larger than I expect; however, the design is so simple and easy to use. I had used android for two years, but I decided to swtich to Windows 8 phone. It was so fast to do navigation and run apps. overall I love it.

Nokia is Alive and Kicking!
5 Star Review   By anonymous177 on AT&T - Nov 12, 2012

Superb design and functionality at an unbeatable price. Fantastic Voice clarity, magnificent display resolution/quality, and unbelievable camera output. The Nokia hardware coupled with Microsoft Windows 8 Phone O/S makes this device lethal combination. This hardware is by far the best Windows Phone out there. It brings the best and latest technologies such as Nokia Map and Nokia Street View to the forefront. Moreover it super-charges itself with the latest Windows O/S which hands-down is the best Phone O/S available. In fact, side-by-site Apple IOS6 versus Windows Phone 8 is like comparing Flintstones vs. Jetsons. There is no technological competition for this hardware, but Nokia/MS will have to battle perception or rather the misperception.

Amazing
5 Star Review   By ItsQ on AT&T - Nov 12, 2012

There's no other word for this phone other than amazing. I couldn't be happier. Let's start off with me being very worried about it's hefty weight because of all the online reviews of various blogs. The first thing I said outloud when I picked it up was "that's it?" It's not heavy. I'd describe it as solid. But try it for yourself to be sure. The screen is probably the best screen I've ever laid eyes AND hands on. The curve screen feels amazing to do all the swipes/gestures and the display quality is natural, extremely sharp, completely visible in bright daylight, and convenient for this upcoming winter since I can use gloves with it. The built in features of the OS obviously works great and makes many apps unnecessary but should you be an app type of a person, the new way WP8 handles apps makes all of them fly. They start up fast, the run fast, and a vast majority of them are way more beautiful than competitors' version. Nokia's suite of apps are really robust and impressive and they do what they advertise. Some of the most impressive apps for me so far are Nokia's navigation apps (Drive+, Maps, Transit) since apps can now talk to each other and interop. Another is skype. While only a preview at the time of this writing, once it's downloaded it, it works as if it's part of WP8. Almost like I'm getting a regular call. App selection is a little limited compared to other platforms but I've already started seeing Windows 8 apps being released for Windows Phone 8 thanks to its new shared underworkings. As Windows apps explode (because... it's Windows, it's a no brainer), Windows Phone will follow. The live tiles are beautiful and very engaging. The mix of different sizes and configurations give it a real artsy, unique, and creative feel yet they still serve a purpose. And finally... the camera. Amazing. Although a slightly soft in detail compared to other top of the line phones (which is rumored to be fixed via an update) it still blows everything else out of the water in all conditions. Just try it for yourself. Also, have yet to try wireless charging so I can comment on that. Also the only real complaint is that the vibration motor rattles a bit loudly but nothing so bad to fuss about

This is a great phone...if you like big phones
5 Star Review   By Jessebere on AT&T - Nov 11, 2012

This is a great phone: 1. The display is simply amazing, stunning. I watched a feature length movie from netflix yesterday and was stunned by the video quality. 2. Which takes me to battery life. After the movie I noticed the battery meter had barely moved. 3. The OS, Windows Phone 8 is simply stunning. There is nothing else like it. It is better than IOS and Android. Don't comment until you've actually tried it. 4. People will tell you there aren't as many apps. Well...the apps you use most: maps, browser, e-mail, etc are better than I've seen on other phones. After the best first 100 apps in an app store, the rest are.....well....you know pretty much worthless anyway. I'm not buying the app count argument. Alright. If you don't like big phones or need your phone to be feather light, then this is probably not the phone for you. I didn't find that to be a problem.

Excellent
5 Star Review   By lmzatt101 on AT&T - Nov 11, 2012

I've owned the IPhone 5 and gave it to my wife. I've owned the Samsung Galaxy III and traded it back in. For me, this phone by far has the best interface, speed and integration than any others. Using Windows 8 sync options could be streamlined a little, but other than a excellent piece of equipment.

5 Star Review   By tyler4455 on AT&T - Nov 11, 2012

little heavier then iphone 4s that I replaced but not much, the weight of this phone in your hand feels almost the same as iphone 4s , screen is gorgeous, camera is really good, better then iphone 4s in the day light and for taking pictures at night or in dark places there is no other competition except maybe for point and shoot cameras. Operating system is very smooth even better then iOS, android cant even compete in this area!!.

What an amazing phone.
5 Star Review   By ohiogirl on AT&T - Nov 10, 2012

I bought this phone over the weekend. I thought I would give Windows Phone 8 a try. The specs on this phone are out of this world for the money. I was surprised at how fast the OS is and how long the battery last for a duel core smart phone. Windows Phone 8 is also very nice because you can setup your start screen just the way you want it. You have to take the time to get it organized the way you want. Once you do it does make it feel more like YOUR phone. I was also surprised at the number of apps because there is a lot of talk about the market place still growing. I was able to find an app for everything I wanted to do. On that note Nokia include a lot of nice bonuses. You have to check out the apps included and that you can download from Nokia. They make it worth it to go with the Nokia brand IMHO over other brands. I did read some complaints by some people that it wieghs to much. Frankly I dont know what they are talking about. It barely feels heavier then an iPhone with a case. We are talking about grams here not pounds. It fit in my pocket fine, it is bigger then an iPhone but the screen is great. Better then my wife's iPhone 4 hands down. The extra wieght is worth it for the bigger screen, wireless charging and long lasting battery. I say go for it, you will be surprised at how much you love this phone.

A great phone with features NO ONE ELSE has
5 Star Review   By Beemarie on AT&T - Nov 10, 2012

This phone is the best phone I have ever had. I have seen the iPhone and the Android challengers and this one has them all beat. No, the Lumia 920 does not have quad core, but it doesn't need it. Because of the need to conserve battery, even the quad core phones don't run the core very often -- most of the time it is shut down to save on juice. With its lightning fast response, great screen with an update rate faster than any on the market, 4G connectivity, camera which is unmatched for low-light performance, ability to use it with gloves on, not to mention Windows Phone 8 and Nokia exclusive apps, it is well over and above the others. Also, the phone right off the shelf connects to your social networks, emails and friends, and brings the most personal experience of any phone. With Nokia Drive, I've ditched my Garmin. It is THAT good. If you're not enamored yet with Windows Phone 8, consider this: With the advent of Windows Phone 8, Windows applications and Windows Phone applications use the same tools and very similar API's. That means that new apps will come fast and furious, and things like features and connectivity to devices are only days, not months or years away. If you're looking for the best companion for your Windows machine, that's Windows Phone.

WOW!
5 Star Review   By 74BuickCentury on AT&T - Nov 9, 2012

Windows Phone 8 is way better than 7.5. Nokia Lumia 920 runs smooth and fast. Such a great combination. WP8 looks elegant and versatile. I love how you can customize your tiles, the new black background on the email inboxes, the social integration, and much more to discover yet. Lumia 920 camera is amazing, as well as Nokia Maps, accurate and quick. Many features to try yet. And I haven't tried MS Office yet, but looks incredible. I use my phone mainly for work, dealing with emails, taking pictures, using Office, surfing the web, and socializing in between, all day long. WP8 + Lumia 920 couldn't be better companion.

New, slick, attention getter
5 Star Review   By PhilsReview on AT&T - Nov 9, 2012

I've been an iPhone owner for three years now and have been "satisfied" with the phone. Everyone has one - it's nothing to shake a stick at anymore. I just got back from a party today and was showing off this great new 920 I picked up today. I learned a lot about it this afternoon and customized the Live Tiles before I left with some photos, my email, weather, news, a few other things as well. That was simple enough. That is just so cool and usefull too. The photos I took at the party weren't that much better than my iPhone, but the ones I took in the dark were WAY better. The mapping thing where it overlays information about businesses when you hold it up along the street is crazy - like something from star trek. Got a lot of great comments on this one - definitely an eye opener. Oh, the phone quality is good too. :) You almost forget what you bought it for with all these new gizmo's. Anyway, it's been a lot of fun and I have a lot more to learn about it. It's been hard to put it down. Bigger screen has made reading my news easier too - super clear screen and sharp text.

Excellent! I highly recommend this phone.
5 Star Review   By mattheman on AT&T - Nov 9, 2012

Nokia has crafted a beautiful piece of equipment. This phone and the windows phone 8 os are amazing. The interface is smooth and lightning fast. The colors on screen are vibrant and visible even in the bright Las Vegas sun. All of the included apps are intuitive and well designed. I have had no problems whatsoever with lag or blurry pages on the web. Thanks in part to the 4g lte I'm sure. Within seconds of picking up my new phone I knew I could never go back. Key features for me: 1. The simple integration of my old contacts. 2. The included office suite. 3. The screen! The clarity and response is on an entirely new level. 4. The camera and included city view. 5. Nokia Drive. 6. The speakers are much louder than I expected. 7. The phone is a joy to behold in its red body. 8. Roomy screen. I.E. Lots of video room. 9. 4G LTE blazes! 10. Smooth and intuitive interface. - written on my new red Nokia Lumia 920

Much better than Iphone! Love It!
5 Star Review   By IphoneToLumiaConvert on AT&T - Nov 9, 2012

This is a solidly built phone with great apps, great camera and a very smooth and responsive operating system. Got rid of my iphone 5 and this is the best decision i made! When you hold it, it feels made of very high quality materials. Its like owning a german car. The same feeling when you drive a BMW. European Craftsmanship! Have been an iphone fan for many years (had all versions) and did not believe a better phone can be made. I was wrong! Windows 8 Phone made by Nokia is the best now!

I all I can say it is everything I hoped for.
5 Star Review   By cmom on AT&T - Nov 9, 2012

I just got the phone this morning and I’ve been waiting on this one. I was an iPhone user and I hated email and the calendaring on the iPhone. As a person that primarily uses their phone for business these features are very essential and I’ve never liked the way this worked on the iPhone. I wanted more and Windows as never been lacking in this realm. I was not disappointed. Everything about this phone is smooth. It’s fast and very easy to use. My wife has had a couple of Androids, with her current one which is the Android Razor. This 920 smokes it. Like the last guy. I love the skydrive. I’m already using it with Windows 8 so having access to skydrive pretty seamlessly from my phone is perfect. I’m going to write another review in a week after I’ve used it more. But I have no doubt that my opinion will not change. I have to say, so far, this is flat out the best phone I’ve ever used.

Without a doubt, the highest quality phone available!
5 Star Review   By pixilover on AT&T - Nov 9, 2012

Just a little bit of research online, between news, reviews and YouTube videos, and you'll see that this is absolutely the best phone available. Almost everyone who owns a Nokia Lumia will tell you that there is not another phone out there that will compare. The Windows Phone operating system is so smooth and simple, yet it has such tight integration between the O.S. and apps, that you can do so many things with ease! From a hardware perspective, it can record audio at 50 times the volume level of its competitors, without distortion (think loud concerts). It records the best video (just search YouTube for comparisons), and the best photos. There's a small problem that's preventing their daytime photos from killing the competition, but Nokia has already stated that there's a software fix on the way to resolve this. There's wireless charging, a super-sensitive screen that lets you use it while wearing gloves. The list goes on and on. It's quite simple, actually. This phone blows away the competition. Oh yeah, Nokia (unlike any other phone manufacturer or carrier) provides stunning apps that are exclusive to Nokia owners. HTC and Samsung users need not apply!

Fantastic Phone
5 Star Review   By NikkiM on AT&T - Nov 7, 2012

I got the phone early at a conference and I'm wowed by this phone. I replaced my android phone with this phone. It is buttery smooth, integrates fantastically with windows 8 on my other devices, and allows me to customize it with what I like. The camera is really good and works as advertised. Night shots are fantastic and the stabilization makes it easy to walk and take pictures. I LOVE the sky drive integration--when I take a picture, the pictures are available on every device I own, and I don't have to do ANYTHING. Nokia Drive is good. I think that Google's turn by turn directions are better because they have walking turn by turn, but Nokia's maps look far better. Yes, you really can see the screen in bright sunlight and the screen is very pretty besides. This is the best phone I've used, ever.
