Never thought I'd be writing this review.....
5 Star Review   By SamM25 on AT&T - Nov 11, 2013    ( See more reviews from AT&T )

First off, I want to start by saying that I am a huge Apple fanboy. But, that has changed now. I have owned the iPhone 5S, the HTC One, and the Galaxy S4. I always...ALWAYS went back to Apple devices after owning these other Android phones. That is not the case anymore with the LG G2. After having problems with my iPhone 5S and then it completely dying at the AT&T Store, and the reps didn't even know what happened, I decided to go with the HTC One because the build quality was close to the iPhone and I had heard good reviews about it. I like the HTC One, but to me it just seemed like something was missing. I loved the aluminum design, and the feel of the phone in general, but it still did not satisfy me. One of the issues with the One was battery life. I am a heavy user when it comes to smartphones, and I have yet to find a phone that would not have me running to a wall outlet to charge by the end of the day. Therefore, since the battery life of the HTC One did not meet my needs, I returned the device for the LG G2 after hearing good things about it. All I have to say is...I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PHONE!!!! It is incredible!! I never thought I would be saying this about an Android phone. The design is awesome, though I could probably do without the plastic backing, but even then it still feels amazing to hold. Very natural. The screen is bright and vibrant! It is a nice 5.2" and it doesn't feel like a huge phone at all! It fits perfectly in my hand, and i have no complaints with it. I am coming from the iPhone 4" display, and i always hated the idea of going with something bigger, but I do not mind at all now! This phone is perfect! Much better than the iPhone 5S screen in my opinion. I thought the physical buttons being in the back were going to be a problem for me, but after just one day...it instantly felt very natural. I can't imagine going back to the power and volume buttons being on the sides and top of the phone now. I love the design overall. The features on this phone blow the iPhone 5S out of the water! It is super fast, it does not lag or slow down no matter how many things you throw at it! It amazes me day after day. One of my favorite features, though I know it sounds dumb is when you get an incoming call or notification, the power button on the back of the phone lights up. So if you have your phone facing downward in a noisy environment and can't hear it go off, you can see the LED light on the back lighting up. Like I said, probably a dumb thing to be excited about. But I love it!! Also, the IR Blaster on it is awesome! That's something that gets overlooked because of all its other amazing features, but the IR Blaster comes in handy for me at work very often! And I could not have a phone without it now! The camera is amazing as well. I enjoy taking photos with low lighting, and this camera does an amazing job at it. I still think it is a better low light camera than the iPhone 5S even with it's dual flash and extra iSight lens. And the G2 has a lot more features than the iPhone. The battery has amazed me so far, and I haven't even charged it to 100% yet. I am still using the charge it came with out of the box, and that has been more than 24 hours ago. And I only set the phone down to go to sleep. I can't wait to see how long it'll last me on a full charge! The "Knock Knock" feature is cool. I find myself not even using the buttons anymore, because you can power the screen on/off by just tapping it twice. Overall, I am very satisfied with this phone. It has definitely brought LG back into the competition of smartphones in my opinion. If you are thinking about getting this phone...don't think anymore, go to the store and buy it! You will not regret this at all! I highly...HIGHLY recommend this phone. And I was a HUGE Apple user. But this phone changed my mind!

Great Phone!!!!
5 Star Review   By nascarmomma1984 on AT&T - Nov 9, 2013    ( See more reviews from AT&T )

I have only had this phone for a week and I love everything about it. It is easy to use and the battery life is great. I have not had to charge it in the middle of the day at all and when it does charge it charges really fast. The battery lasts all day. I downloaded over 700 songs and I still have 20GB available. I love the screen size. I also love how fast is it and it never lags. The camera is great. I love that I can just double tap to unlock or lock the phone. I have nothing but great things to say about this phone. This is absolutely the best phone I have ever used. I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone.

Awesome performance and Beautiful look
5 Star Review   By KamaLVachiravel on AT&T - Nov 6, 2013    ( See more reviews from AT&T )

I definitely give 1st rank to this phone as I have tried Samsung and Apple. It is the best phone. If you want check it in internet about the Processor and Battery, 13MP camera. All games are like pancake in this mobile. I ok to 299 with 2 year contract. But now AT&T is giving 150 with 2 year contract. Again it is the best phone ever from LG and best phone in Android as well. Because of the marketing only , People will go for Samsung and Apple. Only cons is Volume and power button is at the back. Once you used to it, then this phone will rock

Best phone I have ever had
5 Star Review   By BeyDashian on AT&T - Nov 4, 2013    ( See more reviews from AT&T )

I have never written a review in my life, but had to on this phone. Screen size is great while keeping overall size reasonable. Battery life is unbelievable. Off charger for 10 hours and still have 93% battery after checking emails regularly, browsing news articles and downloading a few apps. Not loaded with bloatware like the Samsungs. If anything I wish the speakers and ringer were a little louder, but that is because i have poor hearing. Would be great for most people. The best part is never have to use power key, Just double tap to lock and double tap to unlock. Beats the samsungs and motorla phones I have had 100 to 1.

My first Android phone and I couldn't be happier..
5 Star Review   By Jrussojr on AT&T - Oct 29, 2013    ( See more reviews from AT&T )

This is my first Android phone and I love it. The screen is amazing, the UI isn't offensive and this thing is fast. Absolutely no lag to be found. The ability to play 24/192 FLAC files is a bonus for me. I could do without the AT&T bloatware, but otherwise it really is a great phone. I found the buttons on the back to be quite natural after a few days, and the "knock-knock" feature to wake the phone is awesome. I highly recommend this otherwise hidden gem of a phone.

experienced severe battery drain (most likely because of GPS)
2 Star Review   By FirstTimeLGG2 on AT&T - Oct 27, 2013    ( See more reviews from AT&T )

Got phone last weekend. Struggled with battery drain. Overnight without use phone will get to 20% from 100%. Had to charge 2-3 times a day. Decided to return the phone. Then found on web: turn of GPS location, stop careerIQ and Google location services, reboot, stop services again. Left phone overnight, and in the morning it is at 98%! If you need location services (not sure what careerIQ is doing), be aware that the phone might not be for you (at least, ATT phone).

LG is on top!
5 Star Review   By rdt7 on AT&T - Oct 25, 2013    ( See more reviews from AT&T )

Wow! Can't say enough about this phone! Battery life is amazing. 5.2 inch display hits the sweet spot as far as size goes. Not as big as a Note but bigger than s4. Small bezels makes it like holding a screen instead of a phone. IPS display much brighter and more accurate than Samsungs amoled. Rear button placement is genius. Camera has some issues with low light action shots but otherwise it produces the best shots ever seen from a smartphone. Snapdragon 800 is lightning fast. On screen dock buttons will take some getting used to because some video apps don't have auto hide support (dish anywhere) , but hopefully they will soon since many new phones have on screen buttons. And did I say the battery life is amazing? I could go on and on!

Great Fast Phone with lots of extras.
5 Star Review   By AvBaby on AT&T - Oct 24, 2013    ( See more reviews from AT&T )

Great thing are the speed, display, lot of games, and the way it operates. Laid out nice. Oh by the way I back on off is no big deal. Dont know why professional reviews are blowing up. I like it.To turn on and off the phone all you do is tap the screen 2x's Here is what bothers me and needs to be changed. Ok so here is the deals. Need to move the return arrow key to the right side of the screen. It is very anoying when you are trying to go back. When reading your emails you cannot see all unless you scroll around.

A flagship device that is at the top of the market
5 Star Review   By MrsBlaccWes on AT&T - Oct 17, 2013    ( See more reviews from AT&T )

I should preface my review with the devices that I've owned: - Samsung Galaxy S4 - HTC One - Samsung Galaxy Note 2 With that being said, the bar has been set high in my expectations for a flagship device. The LG G2 not only has been a pleasant surprise, it has excelled in all the areas which influence my purchasing decision, which are: - the Snapdragon 800 is snappy with negligible lag - the 3000 mhtz battery will excel under heavy usage - the HD screen and resolution is simply fantastic Sure the other devices offer additional perks, such as HTC wonderful Sense UI and Blinkfeed, and Samsung's Touchwiz, however I find myself reflecting on the simple straight-forward user interface of the LG G2 and not missing the perks of those other devices, which in many of the cases hog ram and system resources and drain battery life. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. This is a rock solid device, that's simple to use and will excel in its performance for the typical smartphone power user. Each to his or her own, but I'd definitely recommend auditioning the device and making your own decision.

BEST SMARTPHONE TILL DATE...
5 Star Review   By DallasCowboy on AT&T - Oct 14, 2013    ( See more reviews from AT&T )

This is the by the best phone right now you can find in the market. I was never been a LG phone user after reading many good reviews I went with my gut feeling to try this device, and I am glad I did the right thing in choosing this phone. I ordered a white phone after reading some reviews that black one catches finger prints easily. Build quality of this phone is awesome It never feels and ordinary build quality , its intact, phone just fits into my hand well, though I have a medium size palm. The display is awesome my wife has an iPhone 5 when we compared G2 display was far better. Phone is sooooooperfast, browsing, gaming, other apps just runs flawlessly without any delay or hang. Features such as flipping the phone silences incoming call, if you bring phone closer to ear it senses and automatically receives the call, smart screen watch, quick slide , customizing your home screen button option, customizing key boards with 3 different in hand, etc etc..every single day I see a new feature from this phone and I just love it. Battery life is immense. Call quality is very good, I had no issue with the call getting dropped or voice break. 13MP Camera is like an icing on the cake, it takes very good, crisp, picture with loads of settings that you can customized as per your picture requirement. I am attaching a sample picture check out the rain drops on the windshield and rainbow in the back while the background is decently blurred, catching perfectly what you need it to. No doubt why many of the reviewers say ‘LG G2 is making Samsung and Apple sweat’. All in all I found this phone is an amazing smartphone right now in the market and LG “U MADE IT !!!!!”

Value Oriented Phone
4 Star Review   By StudentReviewer on AT&T - Oct 6, 2013    ( See more reviews from AT&T )

Name: Bryon Dickon The Andriod LG G2 is a fantastic value for what I paid. The phone impresses with a sleek and modern design, and a sharp and detailed screen display. For those who are impressed with modern designs in a phone, the LG may not compete with some of the apple products, but it will suffice for the phone's value. The true beauty of the LG G2 is practicality. It is fast on the Internet and quick about loading applications. Access to the Google App Store is a value of practicality itself. Applications are downloaded from the Store quickly and efficiently with a minimum of fuss. The variety of items available for download is vast between applications for professional business and personal play. If I had one complaint about the LG it would be about the camera. Despite the LG's highly detailed display, the pictures taken by the camera can come out grainy, but since I own a digital camera for that purpose, I can hardly hold it against the LG for taking a grainy picture. Overall, the was a perfect candidate for getting my money's worth. The pro's outweigh the cons, and the best pro of all is the value oriented pricing of the phone. (bjd)

All around great phone
5 Star Review   By Kyle9988 on AT&T - Oct 3, 2013    ( See more reviews from AT&T )

It seems that with most smart phones today you have to sacrifice one or two features in order to get what you want. Some phones have a great screen but terrible battery life, and others have good sound quality but no features. This phone actually does have it all. It has a great display, fantastic battery life, a good quality camera, excellent features, nice design, and much more. Despite what I have read from others, I love the power button and volume buttons on the back. I like to hold my phone where my fingers rest on the side, so I would seem to always hit a button when I didn't want to hit it. It may be plastic all around, but simply find a case for it and there are no worries. I would recommend the poetic folio case online. The speed of this thing is also incredible. If you have a phone that seems to be slowing down over time, switch to this one and you will have no worries even two years from now. Finally, I will say the one improvement I would have liked to see is better volume for the music player. Otherwise this phone is a top notch android phone!

Best phone on the market
5 Star Review   By Napoli on AT&T - Sep 30, 2013    ( See more reviews from AT&T )

I absolutely love this phone! Definitely the best phone I have used up-to-date. I've been a long time iPhone user ever since the iPhone 3G, and I must say that the 5S isn't all that impressive, and it's what led me to getting this phone and getting rid of my iPhone 5. The specs are superior and the best of any phone on the market right now. One thing is love about the iPhone is the fluidity of it, so I was hoping this phone would be just as a fluid, and it is! The screen is gorgeous! Such great quality, and the thin bezel makes it look even better. Very fast phone, great camera with tons of fun features built in. And really just an insanely good phone all around. It's unfortunate LG phones aren't as popular as some of the more recognized brands, but if you gave this phone a chance, you wouldn't be dissapointed. I will admit that the voice quality isn't the greatest, but it gets the job done, which is more than enough. Also, the phone is very slippery, so I highly advise getting a case with some grip. My first LG G2 slipped out of my pocket during work, and the screen shattered, but got a replacement through insurance and since then purchased a screen protector and shock-impact case.

AMAZING PHONE
5 Star Review   By MikeAnthony on AT&T - Sep 26, 2013    ( See more reviews from AT&T )

Best smartphone I've ever owned. It has an amazing large screen. The camera is probably the best I've used especially for a phone. It is super fast, I've downloaded tons of apps and no crashes or freezes. Despite some bad reviews on the call quality, it is actually crystal clear and loud. Also, the bad reviews on the volume/power buttons moved to the back, its actually quite convenient once you get used to it. Your fingers are naturally there anyway so it works great. To me, the design is great and its greatest quality is probably the screen. The worst is probably the back cover. It does show a lot of fingerprints! I love the knock feature to turn the screen on and off just by tapping the screen. The memory it comes with is way more than enough, so there are no complaints from me about the fact that there is no slot of an SD card. It really doesn't need it. All is is a wonderful, fast, good quality smartphone. Also, the battery lasts a very long time between charges even with a lot of use. It even charges very very quick. Oh and also, did I mention? The screen is AMAZING. Thumbs up to LG on this one.
