Apple Iphone

Strengths: Three usefull services in one

Weakness: warranty coverage

My son bought this phone and it worked great for two months till one day he had it on vibrate and it fell off the table and of course the face plate shattered when it hit the tile floor. I called Apple for him and they said he had to have there insurance to get it replaced which happens to be $500.00 the price the phone cost. I think there warranty should cover a shattered face plate. I saw it happen myself so they cant say my son did it any other way. The phone is great if you leave it in a drawer.

Apple iPhone the good and the bad

Strengths: Stunning display+A sleek design+Innovative multitouch user interface+Superb Web surfing experience+Easy-to-use apps+Excellent music player

Weakness: Variable call quality-Lacks some basic features-Including stereo Bluetooth and 3G-Integrated memory is stingy for an iPod-You have to sync the iPhone to manage music content

Despite some important missing features, a slow data network and call quality that doesn't always deliver, the Apple iPhone sets a new benchmark for an integrated mobile phone and MP3 player.

Apple iPhone (4GB)

Strengths: Large touch screen; WiFi connectivity; Visual voice mail; All-in-one smartphone.

Weakness: No VoIP function; Phone locked exclusive to AT&T; Only 2 Megapixel camera.

I purchased this phone after the price drop in Apple store online before discontinuted. It is a decent phone containing all the functions you needed, for instances music player, video player, web broswer, calendar, and of course phone. I no longer have to bring iPod, PDA and cell phone separately. As it can only be used in AT&T network (unlock excepted), you cannot use it when you are travelling abroad unless you are willing to pay extensive roaming fee. Taken together, I am amazed and satisfied the functions of this iPhone, and am happy to be a late buyer after the price drop.

good product

Strengths: stylish

Weakness: price

again the iphone is basically an ipod touch plus the cellular phone capability. as far as design goes, i think iphone is an awesome product from apple but the price may not justify all the fancy features. The touch screen works surprisingly well but when you hold the phone, you might feel like it's so fragile in that the phone could easily get scratches on the screen. Wifi browsing is cool and convenient and the biggest attraction is that you can use your two thumbs to zoom in or out the browser.

iPhone Smartphone

Strengths: design, features

Weakness: locked to AT&T

This phone has all the features that you can expect in a smart phone and more. It combines 3 devices (iPod, PDA, cell phone) into one, so you don't have to carry three separate devices. The design is also very slick, bearing Apple's trademark. The downside of this phone is that it can only be used with AT&T wireless service.

iPhone

Strengths: Great Internet and mapping features

Weakness: Power Button

The iPhone is a great new phone. I was dissapointed with the way you turn on the phone. I also disliked some of the old features Apple put on the iPhone from 2006. But besides that, iPhone gets two thumbs up.

IPHONE ( Upgrade? )

Strengths: Its user touch interface is certainly an impressive plus, web browsing and YouTube are gorgeous, Ipod sound is competitive w/5th generation.

Weakness: No external user battery or memory replacement, no multimedia messaging capabilities( not Good )and no video recording( A standard these days ).

Certainly catches alot of attention from general public but coming from Treo 650 to Iphone has some advantages and some you really miss like sending and receiving pics. from friends is GONE, unless you send through E-mail ( bummer ).Also Safari software has some bugs like reverting to home screen unexpectedly and does the same from google maps??? I already had to re-install firm software to factory settings and start all over again to prevent jumpy and slow response from general touchpad and browsing, after owning this thing for what '4 days!!'( scary for $600 phone )

But overall beeing a tech geek from the '80's I had to have it, I love the hype and advances in user interface, certainly a huge gutsy step forward in personal communication devices but it's software needs to catch up to its hardware capabilities, and also 3g would of been nice........hopefully Apple will 'Take Care ' of these issues soon!

Apple iPhone - 4GB (AT&T)

THE GOOD: The Apple iPhone has a stunning display, a sleek design, and an innovative multitouch user interface. Its Safari browser makes for a superb Web surfing experience, and it offers easy-to-use apps. As an iPod, it shines. THE BAD: The Apple iPhone has variable call quality and lacks some basic features found in many cell phones, including stereo Bluetooth support and 3G compatibility....
