DAP-1522 Xtreme N Wireless Bridge/Access Point

Strengths: Appearance, Speed, Ease of use

Weakness: Range

I wish it had antennas

Strengths: Wireless n, Gigabit switch

Weakness: signal strength, speed.

DAP-1522 Bridge/Access Point

Strengths: Draft-N Wireless Really, really fast reliable Can be configured 2 ways (bridge or AP) Looks nice Gigabit ethernet

Weakness: Pricey No external antenna

Using this box to bridge my lan upstairs to the basement.
Paired with the Dlink DIR-825 router, this thing really flies. It's more than twice as fast as the previous Wireless-G bridge I used before.

Using firmware 1.10

Weakness: No way to turn off lights!

I am using this bridge in conjunction with the companion Xtreme N Wireless Router. This unit is in the media room and provides web access to an Xbox, BluRay player, Tivo HD, and TVIX media tank. It is working flawlessly, and was instantly accepted into the system when I set it up. It also connected all the devices with no problems. My only complaint is that it has multiple activity and status...

D-Link DAP-1522 Review: Dual-band Draft 11n for the Masses?

D-Link's draft 802.11n AP / Bridge can open up the 5 GHz option to your wireless LAN for about $100. But 2.4 GHz performance leaves a lot to be desired.
