AIW x1900

Strengths: Powerful gaming card + tv tuner, DVI

Weakness: 256 MB, no dual DVI, no HDTV tuner

Been using this card for a few months now and this one one of the best purchases I made. It's a good all rounder card that I use for gaming and for my HTPC connected to my TV. I've been able to play all the latest games on hight settings and resolution. I currently upgraded my monitor to 47" LCD HDTV and it still shows no signs of lag at 1080p resolutions. I love this card! Now that I got my...

Do Not Buy This Card

Strengths: The quality of the video from this card is great, if you can get it to work.

Weakness: Drivers, Support, Software, Hardware

I am very disappointed in ATI on this outing. I have built many systems for friends and for profit, and have never had this level of trouble. This card was selected for it's advertised capabilities of video/TV capture and good gaming in one package. To begin, I found comments at the vendor's, (computer3G.com and newegg.com) and the manufacturer's site that this card would work with Win XP X-64....

Not everything works as advertised

Strengths: Very Fast, cost

Weakness: Software suite

POSITIVE ATTRIBUTES Strictly in terms of video performance, this card is amazingly powerful, especially considering the limitation of 256MB of RAM. I have yet to run any software that tasks this card, even at 1900 x 1200 resolution, with all quality options set to high. Cost. Given this cards performance, the price is a great value. FLAWS: In terms of Software, this card has fallen woefully short...

Great card to Upgrade to!!

Strengths: Great features and plenty of compliment hardware.

Weakness: Theater 200 chip. Single DVI.

This is a great card for both world especially when I paid about $200 shipped. I love this card becaues with overclocking Ati tools, I was able to get the speed up to 625MHZ. I got this card to watch cable tv on my computer and play some games too, this is where it shines. It handle Half-Life 2 and F.E.A.R pretty well but not at the highest settings. And watching Tv on my computer was a plus side...

A Screamer with Poor Software

Strengths: graphics awesome, tv awesome, DVR awesome

Weakness: Poor Software

I am very happy with this card purchase. You can tell that the guys at ATI made some of the best graphic processing units on the planet. However You can also tell that their efforts were not as focused when it came to making software that works. The hardware guys carry this review...if the GPU weren't this good this card would've gotten 2 stars for bad software. Overall, if you're a gamer, want...
