This is my second ATI video card....

Strengths: Very good card for gaming. I play Battlefield 1942 online at high resolution and the card works without a glitch.

Weakness: I cannot get Windows XP to recogonize the three firewire ports. ATI tech support says it is a windows problem and I cannot get a response on the windows message boards.

This is my second ATI video card. Both work fine for video capture and recording, except for the firewire problem with the newest card. Tech support is not good at all. After e-mailing ATI tech support several times I keep getting a return e-mail telling me to click on links for the most common problems. It is as if a human does not look at my e-mails and an automated system sends reply e-mails....

For the price, how can you...

Strengths: Thru-view window, capture, price I HAVE MINE HOOKED UP TO A 42inch PLASMA, yes I am a true geek

Weakness: Yeah, Yeah.....The drivers. If you're a weekend tinkerer, this card might prove to be a challenge to instal.

For the price, how can you complain? Turn your computer into a tv, what more can you ask for? If you spend alot of time in front of your machine, like me, you'll love this thing...Assuming you can work and watch tv at the same time. I don't play many games so i opted for only 64MB. I'll admit it's kind of a pain in the butt to set up, so non-techies might want to have their local geek set it up...

Overall the product is very good....

Strengths: Several Video in/out features

Weakness: Recordings frequently poor and frequently requires reboot to fix poor recording and TV captures.

Overall the product is very good. Most of the features work as advertised yet support is indeed poor. Website support also lacking. Most of the time captures are superb but recordings become poor and require reboot to fix. I am running a very capable PC 2.53 Ghz. TV capture leaves a little to be desired as well. Analog capture excellent and recording options and features are plentiful. I now...

In every case I found this...

Strengths: Displays somewhat of a picture and TV features works ok.

Weakness: Loaded with weaknesses. Worst card I could ever purchased. DO NOT USE THIS CARD WITH A ECS MOTHERBOARD!!!!! Works ok with an asus motherboard BUT STINKS TOTALY WITH ECS MOTHERBOARDS!

In every case I found this motherboard to suck with runing games. For doing video or tvcapture its avarage. I suggest to anyone looking for a video card to go with something other than ATI.
