Won't Work With Win 8
Strengths: Will Work with Previous Versions
Weakness: Won't Work with WIN 8
Buyer beware. You need the PTV-3000 to work with WIN8. And at that, WIN8 won't work with the latest firmware upgrade for it, 2.2.9! It will only work with 2.2.7 How's that for weird?

Works as advertised
New HP Envy17 3D laptop was ordered with the Netgear Push2TV PTC2000HD. I followed Netgear directions step by step which includes updating Intel drivers. Works Great! Highly recommend 5 Star all the way, and I usually don't like NetGear products. This works great with a 2nd Gen i7 2.10Ghz w/ boost to 3.10Ghz like something of the future.

Worked for me but...
This netgear product can work with an HP dm4-1080us laptop like mine. And yes, the 1080us has a 2nd gen Intel I5 processor. But don't expect your Netgear device to connect to this laptop without inputing several minutes of your trouble shooting/updating time. Should your laptop ever connect to the netgear adapter, like mine eventually did, you'll be impressed with what it can do without wires.

Not worth it.
Easy to install and connect, but frequently loses connection. Updated firmware on the device and drivers on the computer but still drops connection. HDMI cable is cheaper and more reliable.
