Good Value for a Complete Surge Suppressor

Strengths: high level of power protection (3996 joules), complete data-line protection (coax/RJ11/RJ45), well designed, easy to use, Belkin $300,000 equipment protection warranty

Weakness: 1 of 5 units ordered was defective and returned for replacement

I purchased 5 of the Belkin surge protectors for college dorm and home based computers. The main attraction of this surge protector was a high level of power protection (3996 joules) combined with complete data-line protection (coax/RJ11/RJ45 (Ethernet)) at a very competitive price. Great Surge Protector!

Strengths: - slim profile - high # of outlets - 6 "transformer" outlets are far apart from one another --- no interference

Weakness: comes in gray and gray only

This is one great surge protector. The 12 AC outlets are spaced logically. In particular, the 6 "transformer" outlets are far apart from one another. The transformers are therefore much less likely to block the other outlets. All 12 can be put to use, even if you have a lot of plugs that require that extra width.

The slim profile is a plus.

All around perfect item

Strengths: Long cord. Many outlets. This baby organizes your spaghetti very nicely. $42 at Staples.

Weakness: Switch feels iffy and not definite in on or off. Some phone chargers still block several plugs.(Motorola)

The switch works fine just has a short throw. I need more of these for my client NOW. Sliding covers work but who needs them really. Nice overall and the cable guides are Ok.
