5 Star Review   By member dgcamero - Jan 21, 2003

Strengths: Very flat and accurate frequency response overall. Very pretty to look at. Excellent gain limiting. Non-boomy subwoofer.

Weakness: Satellite speakers tip over easily, but if you place them carefully this shouldn't be an issue. Somewhat lacking in lower midrange, but this is a problem in all computer speakers I have heard.

These are some of the best computer speakers I have heard, actually they are the best computer speakers I have heard that cost less than $250. They look great and have the sound quality to match their looks. The other reviewer said they make some "spekling" [sic] noises when they are turned up loud. He or she must have the treble and/or the surround turned up too high. I have found that keeping the bass and treble controls set about midway (less really for bass) and the surround all the way down, I can turn these speakers to their highest volume setting and they don't distort at all. I would recommend these to anyone that doesn't need surround sound and wants spectacular sound quality.

Strengths: they have ok sound and look awesome

Weakness: they make spekling noises when turned up high

They speakers look awesome but do not perform to the task i have expected. If you want a speaker that looks nice then buy them but if you want a good sounding speaker get something else, i would recommend klipsch or a speaker of that sort.
