Strengths: USB & Serial Imputs. Fast printing speeds. Inexpensive toner. Great home office printer.

Weakness: No weaknesses found.

Excellent printer for the money. I strongly recommend this printer for home office use. I purchased this printer because inkjet ink refills are so expensive and do not last very long. The print quality is excellent. It is relatively quiet. The warm-up time is about 12 seconds, which is about normal for a lazer printer.

Strengths: Inexpensive Laser Printer, good coverage

Weakness: Misaligned output

Was exceptionally pleased to get a laser for 150 bucks,.. the output is nowhere as nice as with a sharp $1000 printer (it's crisp, but not ... pefect). The paper feed seems to be slightly pulling to one side on my printer, so for example if i were to put a horizontal bar at the top and the bottom of the page, it wouldn't look like this: --, it would look like this / ... obviously not at a 45 deg...

Strengths: 600 DPI, Toner Saver feature, USB and parallel inputs. Pseudo Postscript recognition. Small footprint. Relatively fast warmup and first page. Multiple page manual loading. Low price.

Weakness: Some may say 15 sec warmup is too slow.

I have this laser hooked via a CONNECTGEAR 3-port print server to our home network (NetBUI connection to the print server then a parallel cable to the printer). Thus any of our 4 computers can access this printer as a "local" printer. Print Quality at 600DPI is certainly acceptable though not the best on the market. I love that the manual input allows for approx 30 sheets of paper - not just one,...

Strengths: Fast, Quiet, Easy to use.

Weakness: It would have been nice to have a "print book" feature like most HP printers do.

I am running windows XP. As soon as I turned on the printer windows reconized the printer and set up the drivers instantly. No installation needed. Printer was up and running within two minutes of comming out of the box. I use the USB connection. Fast and sharp. I have no complaints so far. Works great. Even with the "toner saver" mode the prints look great. If you are looking to buy a Laser...

Strengths: Fast, dark print, very good text

Weakness: Reboots PC when simply trying to print a document. Does not always recognize the USB device if turned on during a session

Many times, reboots the PC when simply trying to print a document. Even when installed, if turned on after the PC has been booted and running normally, will not recognize the USB port. Have to manually unplug and replug the USB connector before it will recognize the printer. Latest drivers used under XP. Samsung says it is an electrical connection and to trade back but new printer did exactly the...
