Strengths: Produces great color. Very affordable
Weakness: Very large and heavy for a small office.
I am very happy overall with the printer. It produces great quality prints in both color and black. It prints reasonably fast and warms up quickly. I purchased HPs wireless print server for my home office and it works well. Overall a great color laser printer at a great price.

Great Color Printer
Strengths: Separate Color Laser Cartridges
Weakness: Overall size of unit. Noise of printing
Overall, a great color laser printer for the price range. The size can create some issues in terms of locating the unit. Quality color printing. Selecting and printing on different size paper such as 4x6 is difficult. The printer menu is difficult to use.

Strengths: Quality. Reliability.
Weakness: paper sizes. overall size of unit.
This is the first color laser that I have purchased for my office. Overall, a nice printer. Speed is good, color quality is good. Several drawbacks is that I am having diffculty figuring out how to print to 4x6 photo paper. Also, the virtual size makes it cumbersome and really makes it stick out.

I have to say what a joy it is to be able to use a laser quality printer which has color capability! Makes printing jobs a breeze with the 12 pages per minute printing speed either in black and white or color all in very clear lettering and beautiful color pictures. Does require a lot of space which I overcame with positioning it under a desk. The software installation on my Windows Operating System required downloading the latest printer driver from the HP website. Once all the software was installed and the printer was up and running, The HP Color LaserJet 3500 is the best printer I have ever used and I would recommend it very highly to anyone interested in a laser printer at a somewhat affordable price.
