Strengths: Produces Photo lab type pictures. Fast,Easy to use.Print Head can be changed easily.
Weakness: Slow to print text pages.
The S900 Prints Awesome photos , the only negative side is the print head. The print head was replaced after about 1 1/2 years (bought from Canon).I use it at home so it doesn`t have that much use compared to commerical. The price of the print head was $97.00 (almost as much as a new printer). Canon was a great bunch to deal with and very helpful. The "Plus" part is it doesnt have to be sent to a...

The price of the print head was $97.00 (almost as much as a new printer). Canon was a great bunch to deal with and very helpful. The "Plus" part is it doesnt have to be sent to a repair shop to replace the Head. You can change the head in 30 seconds. I`d purchase another printer from Canon in the future,Im very satified with their products.

Strengths: Photo Print Quality, Speed
Weakness: Have not found any as of yet
When I was shopping for this printer, there were samples of photos that were printed and the quality was so great, I could not believe it came from this printer. I had to try it for myself. I had nothing to lose because if I was disappinted I had 30 days to return it. So far so good. The salesman also said that these printers do not have good text quality but I must say, luckily he was wrong.

Canon S900 is the best printer to...
Strengths: Using Canon Photo Pro 4 X 6 Paper, photos look like they came from a photo lab
Weakness: Don't use any other brand of photo paper, ink does not adhere well and they come out crappy, use only CANON PHOTO PAPER PRO.....
Canon S900 is the best printer to print 4 X 6 borderless photos and its also the fastest, 4X6 photos comes out in 30 seconds or less. Its a a good all around printer, have not tried it on the large photos yet, but I need to conserve my ink for the 4 X6 photos. Not Perfect, but a great buy nonetheless.

***WARNING*** This is the worst printer ever made! Bought it new, never worked right. Canon then wanted to replace it with a refurb unit.
I let them send a replacement unit and the one they sent didn't work either plus it was in deplorable condition. Makes sense, buy new then get a used one from Canon? DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID! SAVE YOURSELF TREMENDOUS CRANIAL DISCOMFORT!
