Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R
3 Star Review  productwiki.com - Oct 30, 2011

The Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R is a motherboard that supports the Intel Core 2-multi core and 45nm processors. It features the Ultra Cooling system, Low Power Loss, and a Longer Life. It also supports both Dual Channel DDR2 and DDR3 memory. The GA-P35D-DS3R features the Ultra Cooling system, which produces a lower switching resistance for faster electric current charging and discharging. The Low Power loss comes from a Ferrite Core choke design, which holds energy longer than models with an iron core. It also comes equipped with an all-solid capacitator design, which gives it a longer life than electrolytic capacitators. It has the ability to support the Dual Channel DDR2 and DDR3 memory support, to run next generation applications with a low power consumption. Features motherboard Intel Core 2 multi-core and 45nm processors Ultra Cooling system Low Power Loss with iron core all-solid capacitator design dual channel DDR2 and DDR3 memory systems Intel ... PROS: (1) Possibility of using DDR2 and DDR3 RAM (different slots) improves upgradeability (2) Included manual is detailed and very explanatory (3) 3 PCI slots is unusual but good for use with older legacy cards that you dont want to give up yet (4) Receptive to quad-core overclocking, runs stable (5) Recognizes 45nm processors unlike many others from this era ... CONS: (1) Does not have a Firewire port, very unusual for this price point (2) IDE and SATA ports are placed awkwardly and may cramp other components or be a hassle when routing cable (3) Voltage correction in BIOS is awkward, only incremental, and can only be viewed in BIOS
