Average Motherboard

Strengths: A lot of features, Intel P35 chipset, cheap after rebate

Weakness: Issues with more than 2GB of memory

I started out putting four 1GB DDR2 800 dimms in this and ran several memory tests on it. Kept running into errors above 2GB. All dimms tested out fine on a different non-Foxconn board. When I only run two dimms everything is fine. Currently running with an Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 and an ATI x1550 gfx card.

Foxconn P35A Intel Motherboard

Strengths: Intel P35 Chipset - Solid Capacitors - 2 PCI-E 16x Slots - External SATA Port - Coaxial Digital Out

Weakness: Only 1 PCI-E x1 Slot - North Bridge Heatsink Mounting - No RAID

This is an excellent Intel socket 775 motherboard, and offers more "bang for the buck" then motherboards in its price range. All solid capacitors on the Motherboard, 2 PCI-E 16x slots for crossfire, coaxial digital out, eternal SATA port. I'm running this board with a E2180 with 4 gigs of OCZ 1066 MHz, and without fine tuning was able to hit 3GHz. The BIOS overclock options are a bit odd, but the...

Good Motherboard

Strengths: Good compatibility, good amount of slots/back panel inputs/outputs, 1333 FSB

Weakness: Nothing so far

A very good motherboard at a good price. It works great and runs my Q6600, 4GB of DDR2 800 ram, 9800 GTX, 500GB hard drive and DVD RW drive very well. Also had enough room for a good sized cooler so I didn't have to worry about hitting the north bridge or anything. I would buy this board again if I need another

Foxconn P35A

Strengths: Solid caps, new Intel P35 chipset, overclocks on a budjet price.

Weakness: no raid, 4 sata connectors

I own 2 of these boards with a e6750 @ 3.2ghz and a e8400 @ 4.0ghz. The e6750 is with stock voltage but the e8400 has the voltage increased to reach 4ghz. I got my boards for 60 after rebates and couldn't find a cheaper board with all solid caps that will overclock as easy as these will. Foxconn has great support and is always updating the bios and utilities for there products. Foxconn also makes...

Foxconn P35A

Strengths: Good quality, Inexpensive if you get the rebate, Good overclock options, Crossfire support

Weakness: Very difficult to collect the rebate, Poor customer support, Ships with out of date BIOS

This is another good quality board from Foxconn that has plenty of options, crossfire support, lots of USB ports, etc. It also is easy to overclock your CPU although you should update the BIOS before attempting the overclock. I've been please with the board but have been unable to collect the rebate. Foxconn rebates have some very unusual conditions and you need to pay close attention to this...
