MY NOTEBOOK STOPPED CHARGING AND WORKING ONLY AFTER 3 MONTHS

Strengths: IT WAS GOOD WHILE IT LASTED FOR 3 MONTHS ONLY THOUGH

Weakness: STOPPED CHARGING AND WORKING AFTER 3 MONTHS

I PURCHASED the Dell latitude d600 notebook July 08 and after only 3 months it stopped working and charging...could not get any help when tried to contact someone...I would not recommend this product because it failed me after such a short time and i was out several hundred bucks.

Mediocre

Strengths: sturdy for the most part, average weight, mediocre customer service

Weakness: heat where the battery sits, a little heavy/bulky for my taste, flimsy keys/keyboard and power/volume buttons

As you can see above, it was difficult for me to think of strengths or weaknesses. That's because I consider this a very mediocre laptop. It's not great, but it's not bad either. I would call it "good" though. Yes...maybe not when it's making me angry, but for the most part. The battery is under my left palm and is constantly hot, which is an irritation. Latitude D600

Strengths: Speed, Mousepad

Weakness: battery, weight

I got this laptop from my dad when he got a new laptop. I recomend it if you DON't have a 30+ GB Ipod. That's the reason I'm working for a new laptop. I can't use my Ipod to it's full potental. Apart from that I like it. I can't complain that it doesn't come with Vista because it didn't exist then. I recomend upgrading it to vista though. It's a good operating system. It's battery life isn't that...

horrible computer and customer service!!!!

Strengths: none

Weakness: they say they have good service but it is not.

i took one of these laptops apart it was horrible cheap to will never buy or sell or even tell any of my friends to buy a laptop. Now bill gates is trying to corner the market with vista so you have to upgrade. The program slows your computer down and when you call them for help i know more than they do. It adds no special features besides what they copied from mac. (i do not like mac either.)...

Latitude D

Strengths: durable, performance, graphics card radeon 9000, lightweight powerful and decent battery life.

Weakness: None found so far.

I work for a very large company that purchases many types of notebooks based on user request. The D600 has been the best. My company to continue with Dell with their newer models.
