Apple MacBook Fall 2009 (Core 2 Duo 2.26GHz, 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD, Nvidia GeForce 9400M)
4 Star Review  cnet.com - Oct 22, 2009

THE GOOD: Sleek unibody design; LED display; big multitouch trackpad; long battery life. THE BAD: Loses FireWire; no SD card slot; nonremovable battery. THE BOTTOM LINE: Apples latest version of the popular $999 white MacBook gets an upscale makeover, while keeping the price the same. Its a strong alternative to the more expensive Pro line, if you can live without extras such as an SD card slot.

2.5 Star Review  productwiki.com - Aug 4, 2011

Apples tenth generation MacBook is a 13 laptop aimed at the average student and computer user. With major revisions from the 2006 version, this MacBook has picked up many notable features from the MacBook Pro, including a unibody design, a glass trackpad, and an LED-backlit display. It is lighter and more durable than the previous iteration of the MacBook due to the new unibody design. However, this means the battery is non-replaceable, but it does provide 7 hours of juice. Also new to this version of the MacBook is a glass Multi-Touch trackpad with gesture support. Its larger than the combined pad-and-button area on the old model and with greater versatility. The new MacBook uses the same Nvidia GeForce 9400M graphics processor, which shares 256MB of RAM with the main memory, as both the previous version and the 13-inch and low-end 15-inch MacBook Pros. There are also some changes to the array of ports on the ... PROS: (1) Unibody design provides a solid "feel" (2) Improved and redesigned power adapter connection (3) Good quality display (4) Improved, larger glass trackpad ... CONS: (1) Exterior is easily scratched (2) Limited in/output selection (3) Poor value, better off going for the slightly more expensive MBP 13 (4) Cooling system remains mediocre

I love my Applie Macbook
4 Star Review

Strengths: It's compact, fast, stable and great graphics resolution

Weakness: It's heavy and gets hot really fast. Battery life is a little weak.

I love my macbook - will not be going back to a PC. It is a compact laptop with a very sturdy feel to it. The screen resolution is much better than any PC of comparable size out there. I've never had it freeze, crash.
