on Aspire 5670 Notebook

Strengths: Nice look ,fast speed ,core Duo processor ,good multimedia support and good price

Weakness: heat management is poor

Aspire 5670 notebook is a nice notebook with lots of good features like its price is with in my budget ( After rebate price) as compare to other brand notebooks with the configuration of 1.66GHz core duo processor, 1 GB RAM and 120 GB hard disk.
Its keypad and mouse are very comfertable to use.
Wireless connectivity is good.
It have built in webcam, mic, TV/S-Video out & all other features which provides a good multimedia support.
DVD+/-RW DL is also a good feature.
The negative thing which I noticed is that it heats up after some time, its less as compare to Dell laptops, but to reduce that I purchased a cooler separately.
Except this heat problem I am highly satisfied with its performance.

Affordable notebook with lots of bells and whistles

Strengths: -Affordable -Powerful hardware -Extremely connected -Loads of bells and whistles -Just the right mix of features, price, weight, and size

Weakness: -Average battery life (2-3 hours) and no secondary battery -Horrible internal speakers -Poor webcam quality -Noisy DVD drive -Gets rather hot -No Cellular Internet (EV-DO/HSDPA) support

The Aspire 5672 is an incredibly versatile machine. It's loaded with just about every imaginable port and standard out there, and it can do just about anything a notebook is supposed to be able to:

-It's relatively fast (1.66 Core Duo CPU, x1600 graphics, 1 GB of RAM).
-It has lots of hard drive space (120 GB).
-It's extremely connected (802.11a/b/g, FIR, Bluetooth 2.0, Gigabit LAN).
-It has great multimedia support (built-in webcam, built-in mic, line in, SPDIF out, TV/S-Video out, VGA, DVI).
-Additionally, it has 4 USB 2.0 ports, a 4-pin FireWire port, a PC card slot, an ExpressCard/34 slot and a multi-card reader.
-And last but not least, it has a slot-loading DVD+/-RW DL burner.

It's a great notebook for most office and multimedia tasks and the price is extremely affordable compared to other similarly-equipped notebooks. There have been concerns about Acer's build quality, but I've encountered no problems after about three weeks of use.

There are only two roles this notebook can't fill well: One, a high-end gaming machine (because the x1600 card only has 128MB of RAM, the CPU isn't as fast as it could be, the RAM is slow and the hard drive is slow). The other is an ultraportable travel notebook, simply because that wasn't the targeted form factor. A 15.4" screen wasn't meant to be very portable, but at 6.6 lbs, this is still one of the lighter notebooks of its size.

The 5672 is well prepared for just about every other type of situation and I never found myself facing "if only my notebook had X" syndrome. I was initially skeptical of Acer because they're not as established as the big notebook companies, but I have to say that I'm ultimately quite satisfied.

Aspire 5670 Notebook

Strengths: Very Good price with rebate, Duo Processor, High performance, Great look & features

Weakness: little bit heating problem

Aspire 5670 is a high performance and good Quality laptop.
It have Bluetooth, all ports anyone want in laptop, built in Mic and webcam, fast speed, more hard disk space, good look and light weight.

It have many more great features and the price which I paid after rebate for a good configuration (1.66GHz Core Duo, 1GB DDR2, 120GB, DVD±RW DL, Windows XP, 15.4" TFT) is really a good deal.

Before purchasing I was somewhat worried about the quality but when I used it I have not faced any problem except the heating problem, but that is not that much big problem, I can find some solution for that.

Overall quality, price and configuration everthing is very good.I am highly satisfied and very happy with my decision of buying Aspire 5670.

Great buy

Strengths: Cheap Price Great Size, appearance and comfort Rare - comes with 120 GB disk Rare - comes with great ATI X1600 Built in mic + camera

Weakness: Decent speakers (nothing exceptional for a laptop) Can get a bit hot, but i don't care

After a lot of research, i found that this laptop was absolutely the best for it's price range. In fact at the time i bought it, it's competitors (same price) (+- $300) didnt have 120 GB disk (usually 80-100 gb) and didnt have a graphics card to compete with the X1600.

Also it pretty :) really pretty :D
