Brough me back
Way more than I expected, but I am full-on back to writing music after 20 years and if it weren't for the affordability of the MOX6, I'd still be searching for just another hobby instead of getting back to the love of my life - MUSIC. Way more than I expected, but I am full-on back to writing music after 20 years and if it weren't for the affordability of the MOX6, I'd still be searching for just another hobby instead of getting back to the love of my life - MUSIC. I've had the MOX for almost a year and while the sequencer part of the MOX is not intuitive and there are no step-by-step instructions, I managed to get some use out of it... Where the MOX excels is the sounds. Getting back into music has led me to get a DAW (The mox comes with one, but I wanted more) and I have to say, just the drum sounds are better on the MOX than what came with the DAW, not to mention all the other sounds are quite remarkable. I'm confident in my decision getting the MOX. If the quality of the sounds were as sub-par as some other supposedly "great samples" from other competitors, I'd have been frustrated and would have probably gone after a less loved pursuit. The construction isn't rock solid, but I'm not gigging or anything. Got it working with my SonarX2 and I'm using the MOX sounds over the ones included with the DAW. I even picked up my bass again since I can just run it through the MOX into Sonar. Waiting on my new mic so I can see how well vocals run through. For what you get, especially the built in interface, you can't beat the affordability... Wish I would have gone the extra bit and got the full weighted MOX8, but I'm sure Santa got a brand new bag comin in a few months!!!

Powerful synthesizer, great price
Top-notch sounds, effects processor and audio quality. Well programmed, multi-timbral patches or "performances" including arpeggiator patterns. Most are quite useful if not fun to play with, great for quick inspiration. Although not a sampler it has audio
