Pretty Good
5 Star Review   By member Xyberion1K3 - Sep 12, 2008

Strengths: There are no cords to get tangled. This keyboard and mouse are well-built. The batteries last for months. The keyboard gives you more control over tasks. Very nice looking design.

Weakness: None to speak of.

I have been using the keyboard and mouse everyday for a little over 2 months. The batteries are still good. The mouse must be used on a light surface, preferably white, to prolong the battery life. The batteries in the mouse should last up to 4 months and the keyboard batteries should last up to 6 months. When the batteries die, I will use Duracell rechargeable batteries with the 15 minute charger. The keyboard is heavier and thicker than a standard keyboard. The keyboard does not dance all around your desk as you key in information; it stays put. The keys on this keyboard are no louder than those on a standard keyboard. I prefer the clicking sound anyways. Buy this Logitech EX110 Keyboard and Mouse Combo.

The Logitech EX110 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo
5 Star Review

Strengths: Excellent range, fast response, works without installing any drivers or programs, nice feel, cheap price, comes with everything you need to get started

Weakness: There is no off switch on the keyboard or mouse and it's not a rechargeable system. Keyboard is missing scroll lock key. The software is needed to use some of the extra multimedia buttons, but not all

I got this keyboard/mouse combo at Target for $30 not really knowing what to expect. When I plugged it in and turned on my computer, it was working already. No drivers or software installed as of yet, and I bet you could do a fresh install of windows with this setup because of this which is a major plus. Most of the multimedia keys even work without installing the software included. Only ones that don't work without installing the software is the play, fast forward, rewind, stop, and close buttons, the rest work just fine. I have a wired keyboard and mouse as my main ones at my desk, but I wanted a wireless keyboard and mouse to use when I'm far away from the computer using my T.V. as the monitor. I can sit back on my bed and play games or whatever from a good distance away from the receiver with no problem. Just be sure to put the receiver lower than where you'll be using your keyboard and mouse and you should have some good distance. I put the receiver on top of my subwoofer under my desk and it works great there. I guess you could spend more money and get a better wireless combo if you really want a gazillion buttons and a mouse that's ergonomicly designed and rechargeable batteries straight out of the package and all that, but I think for the average person looking for a good cheap wireless keyboard and mouse, this wireless combo will work just great for them. I'm certainly happy with it so far.

Not Bad
4 Star Review   By member jonny7 - Feb 13, 2007

Strengths: The keyboard is nice, though not ergonomic as somebody here claimed it was. The keyboard shortcuts are good, and they're well placed to. The keyboard has minimal battery use.

Weakness: The mouse tends to go through batteries like none other I've seen. It also occasionally jumps to a different part of the screen. The media player keys on the keyboard don't work with all players.

Over all it's a decent setup, it's definitely not too expensive either. I'm satisfied with what I got, although their software needs to catch back up a little bit. The erratic mouse doesn't ever throw me off, and it doesn't jump frequently. The only major problem is the energy drain on the mouse, although it's only to be expected when it's operating a light continuously as optical mice do. However, overall, it's a good setup.

Poorly designed. Horrible ! Keys are in different arrangement! Are you kidding??
1 Star Review   By member gooberstiltskin - Dec 9, 2006

Strengths: Mouse works 20 feet away. which is too bad because it's leaving here in cardboard.

Weakness: Key placement recieved no thought. Scrunched up and tortuous to try to use. Batteries? Yes, you will be buying batteries so often it's like you are just renting this mouse.

They put a close program button right on the edge where you would go to pick up a cordless keyboard, and when you do , the program closes and you lose all your info. (that happened one sec ago and I have to rewrite this review because of it.) actually it was the 'enter' key on the right that killed it this time. Avoid this or look for mine on ebay cheap. Keys are not soft to push, and all keys make a rattly noise when any key is pushed. A sign of garbage. The designers for logitech must have worked at microsoft before there, because I see the same lack of quality in the products. No thought was put into the design. Mouse lacks a thumb button I had become familiar with too. Rearranged keys. Backspace/home/end/pgup/ pgdn/delete keys all have to get a flashlight out to read the keys just to use this keyboard. Gotcha Logitech. Gotcha.

Good keyboard, very hungry mouse
1 Star Review   By member rcpax - Oct 23, 2006

Strengths: It's cheap for a wireless desktop.handy keyboard shortcuts.design is ergonomic.

Weakness: keyboard keys are cheaply constructed.noticeable clickity sound when typing.mouse scroll has a loud clicking sound, and tends to be erratic.mouse eats fresh set of duracell batteries in just 2 weeks.

Do not buy this product, unless you own a battery manufacturing plant. The mouse is very power hungry, ate the 2 AA duracell in just 2 weeks. Bought energizers thinking it would make a difference, but the mouse consumed 2 energizer AA batts in just 2 weeks too.I can't believe such device can be such a power hog. Keyboard is of better value for the money, although it has a cheap feel.I returned it to the store under the 30-day money back guarantee. My advice is don't buy this product.Although batteries won't last forever, but at least a fresh set of alkaline batteries should last you a month. I was curious what could be in the design that made the mouse suck so much power, so I opened the case and found that the PCB and components were manually assembled. A pcb link that connects to the optical LED showed it was for a resistor, and what was put in is a jumper wire instead.I am not an engineer but the very shabby assembly of the mouse electronics and greatly simplified circuit (components were skipped and substituted) gives the impression that the mouse is very poorly constructed. And look out for any Logitech mouse under the model number M-RAU95, it's that very same power hungry mouse bundled in the EX110. Don't buy this combo!

Decent keyboard, poor mouse
2 Star Review

Strengths: compact, comfortable

Weakness: poor battery life for mouse

It's not bad for an inexpensive system, but I find I'm having to replace the AA batteries in the mouse every few weeks, which is definitely annoying. I would not recommend this product.

You get what you pay for.
2 Star Review   By member Fishizzle - Aug 3, 2006

Strengths: Cheap price, attractive design, decent feel to the keys while typing, comes with both USB & PS/2 connections, handy shortcut keys.

Weakness: Mouse pointing is not super accurate. Slight delay in keyboard response when typing at high-speeds.

The mouse is sometimes slow to respond or doesn't register some slight movements when pointing at a slow speed over a short distance. This makes precision pointing a little tedious. It reminds me of when a non-optical (i.e. ball) mouse just starts getting dirty -- still usable but has a slightly noticable decrease in accuracy. Also, if you are a fast typer (80WPM+) you will at times notice a slight delay between hitting the keys and the letters appearing on screen. The longer you type at speed without a pause, the more noticable the delay becomes (it's not really noticable until you're 4 or 5+ words into a sentence). Overall, it's an okay budget wireless combo for the casual home user. Graphic designers, programmers or anyone looking for high mouse accuracy or instant keyboard response should stay away.

Nice keyboard, bad mouse
2 Star Review   By member jlhannah64 - Feb 5, 2006

Strengths: Easy to setup and the cordless keyboard is very convienent and laid out very well.

Weakness: The mouse has problems, eats up batteries quickly, has cursor problems with some java based programs and games.

I really liked this combo when I first purchased it, a very simple setup and easy to use software. The keyboard is comfortable to use and has many programable features that I like. The mouse started out fine untill I started having some problems with the cursor disappearing and blinking while playing certain games and using java based programs. Tech support is no help and will tell you that the mouse is not the problem even after you try several different mice and don't have a problem. Battery life for the mouse is anouther problem, the alkaline batteries that come with it only lasted for three weeks and the Ni-MH rechargables that I've been using last around five days before I have to recharge. I would stay away from this product unless you are looking for a nice cordless keyboard and a mouse that doesn't work very well.

Great EX110
4 Star Review   By member rimiranda - Jan 30, 2006

Strengths: Design, ease of installation, hotkeys

Weakness: small mouse

Very comfortable keyboard to use. Very smooth mouse operation. I like the dual USB or PS2 hookup options. The installation took only a few minutes. I also like the fact that the package contained Duracell batteries for both the keyboard and mouse.

Logitech Cordless Desktop EX110 Keyboard and Mouse
5 Star Review   By member APLingras - Jan 27, 2006

Strengths: It is a great value for the money. The signal is strong for both the mouse and the key board. The desgin is elegant and the black color makes it look quite classy.

Weakness: No weakness that I have detected in the mouse or the keyboard in the last couple of weeks or so that I have had it.

I have been looking for a wireless keyboard and mouse for my desk top for a reasonable price. The EX110 offers not only a reasonable price but excellent performance with the convenience of not having all the cords cluttering the desk top. The design and appearance are very pleasing to the eye. I highly recommend this product!

Good wireless distance, nice extras
4 Star Review   By member spmitchell - Jan 18, 2006

Strengths: Easy to set up, handy customizable extra buttons, distance up to 12 ft (in my particular application)

Weakness: Some of the keys are not in the positions that I am used to, like the delete key

I got this item on line so did not have a chance to inspect it very thouroughly at the store like I normally would, but i got a good deal on it so I figured I would try it. I bought the wireless desktop because I have a video card that allows me to use my TV as a monitor, and wanted to sit on the couch and type or use the mouse. The setup does a fine job for my purposes. A bouus for me was the extra keys. In additon to several pre determined buttons such as, turn volume up down and mute, open your home page, close the current window, back, forward, there are several buttons which you can program to do just about what ever you want such as open any program, window, or even key combinations.

Logitech EX110 review
4 Star Review   By member paultman - Jan 18, 2006

Strengths: nice look, lightweight, good one-touch shortcuts

Weakness: radio strength kinda weak,

It's a good keyboard/mouse setup, i especially like how lightweight the keyboard is, very easy to type with it on my lap. Also the black look matches the rest of my computer/monitor. So far battery life has been pretty good.

Logitech Cordless Desktop EX110 (SKU: 9675610403)
5 Star Review   By member txqoo7 - Jan 14, 2006

Strengths: Good price. Great performance. Good wireless signal strength. Quiet keyboard. Good battery life.

Weakness: None.

Bought this wireless mouse and keyboard combo for a great price after rebate (at CompUSA), and have been using this combo for more than a week now, and so far I have been quite impressed. Signal strength is pretty good at about 4 - 5 feet. Keyboard's response just like corded one. Mouse response is good also, although the left and right click buttons are a bit noisy and soft in comparison to my corded basic optical mouse from Microsoft. Overall, this is a good basic keyboard and mouse combo at a fair price. Now I can move the keyboard out of the way to have more desktop space as needed.

Nice Product / Nice Price
4 Star Review   By member wtstro - Jan 14, 2006

Strengths: Quiet keys, good signal range, no cords

Weakness: When legs exteneded still sits pretty flat

I purchased a MS wireless desktop over a year ago. Had to stop using the mouse cause it never worked. This unit is much more attractive and matches my new black Dell (MS is white). Keyboard is much quieter. Keys are moved around (home, end, insert). Takes some getting used to. Has some great quick buttons for Back and Close window, also controlling volume. That's great! Mouse is much more sensitive than any other I have had. Once you get use to it seem like I need to reposition less often. Picked this up for ~$15! Compared to the $40 I spent on the MS. Overall, I am very pleased with the Logitech. I look forward to using it for a long time.

Weakness: none to date

for the money, i don't think it can be beat! Some stores have it for $40 with a $5 instant savings and a $15 mail in rebate so you end up getting this baby for $20 bucks. comes w/ everything, batteries and old school adapters. what a great bargain.

Excellent Value
4 Star Review   By member dhrusree - Jan 10, 2006

Strengths: Decent Range, Attractive Design, Comfortable Ergonomically, Quiet Keys

Weakness: Wish it worked from further away, but not a deal breaker

This keyboard and mouse have enabled me to use my big screen TV to surf the internet, and reduce clutter. I have been shopping for a while and could not find a better value for a wireless desktop.

A Decent Combo for the Price
4 Star Review   By member Jagx007 - Jan 9, 2006

Strengths: Easy to set up. Decent features for the price. There is "Back Button" on the keyboard (similar to the back button on more exensive mouses)

Weakness: Home, End, Delete Key position and design. It is not like the standard keyboards.

I have this combo for about a week, and I like it alot. I initially purchased this for for my computer in my den, but I liked it so much I connected it with my main desktop. It is a very good combo for the price I paid ~$20(AR).

cordless keyboard and mouse
4 Star Review   By member easye7333 - Jan 9, 2006

Strengths: Affordable and comfortable to use. Doesn't go through batteries like crazy.

Weakness: Haven't found any yet.

I have had a generic one and switched back to the corded keyboard and mouse because the batteries kept dying and the range wasn't that good. SO far I haven't had any problems with this one.

This item is a good deal for its price. However, the use of batteries makes it require to keep charging the keyboard and mouse. Will recommend to people who are looking for an inexpensive unit.

Comfortability and Convenience
4 Star Review   By member waleed325 - Jan 9, 2006

Strengths: Flexibility. This set allowed me to browse the web with my big screen tv while sitting on my couch.

Weakness: Battery powered wireless accessories tend to eat the battery power up and in lieu of that, your range will become shorter.

This wireless set is a great idea for someone who wants trouble free convenience without wires all over the place. This set will last a long time if you take care of it.

Logitech Cordless Desktop EX110
2 Star Review

Strengths: Sleek keyboard, good feel on the keys. Mouse is accurate for general business use.

Weakness: Battery life. In a little more than a week, the keyboard batteries died. Mouse still going.

OK, I've had problems with pre-packaged batteries before. I replaced the keyboard batteries this afternoon, and will pay a little more attention to how long a fresh set lasts. If fresh batteries don't last, I'll be taking my Logitech Cordless Desktop EX110 back for a refund or exchange.
