Very Quick Machine
The computer was very easy and quick to setup. The processor is amazingly fast. Numerous connection points with USB2 and 3 ports. The liquid cooler is quiet and the machine seems to run cooler than if it had fans. All in all a nice desktop.

Good performance, but irritating noise
This computer was intended to replace a 5-year-old HP desktop, which was very quiet. In spite of the liquid cooling, the H9-1215T has an irritating hum from the fans. Otherwise, performance is satisfactory.

This product was loaded
My first new computer since 2005. It exceeded my expectations. 45 seconds from startup to being able to use it. 15 seconds to shut down. The SD drive (along with 16 Gb of memory) sure makes a difference. A little noisy but that probably has to do with where I have it installed. I expect I will be happy with this for a long time.

Get One While You Can
My HP Phoenix has been performing flawlessly for a month. It was ordered pretty much maxed out with 2 optical drives, an SSD drive and large HDD and a mouse. My HP Phoenix has been performing flawlessly for a month. It was ordered pretty much maxed out with 2 optical drives, an SSD drive and large HDD and a mouse. Some of these options are the very things certain companies want to engineer away from us dumb consumers. This PC has a very favorable looking exterior and has lots of functionality to boot. It's neat to have a Gort-like red beam always watching. The interior is well designed too and still has expansion room if desired in the future. Was a little concerned the video card (2GB Nvidia GeForce GT630) would be a weak link but it's performance is plenty stout. This PC multitasks without even noticing it. Takes a good bit of activity to cause the fan motor to speed up at all. Have felt no warm air being vented out so the included liquid cooling evidently works. Am happy to own this HP product and the greatly increased productivity it delivers.

We wanted to replace a much older desktop this past year. However, the timing wasn't right, and then windows 8 came out. We have no interest in windows 8 and its touch centric interface on a desktop oriented home computer. We were very excited to have an opportunity to purchase a high calibre windows 7 desktop from HP this late after the roll out of windows 8. This computer is awesome! Set up was super fast, and the computer runs like a dream. It is quick, runs silent and cool, and provides lots of space for future expandability. I also appreciate the internal layout and configuration as I think it is very practical with an eye towards heat dissipation and easy future expansion of components. In addition to all of this, the price was simply unbelievable. Mixed with the coupon code I was able to use, we got this incredible system for approx. $830 (including tax and shipping). That is an AMAZING deal for a computer with these components and performance specs...as well as future expandability to improve upon its already great performance. I simply cannot believe how much computer we got for the price. As a matter of fact, we had delayed any thoughts of replacing our old desktop last winter because of windows 8, and thus had shifted finances away from this purchase. However, when I saw this price and specs on a windows 7 desktop, I knew I had to snag this while we could. Thus, the price compelled us to buy now and not wait another year or two. This computer will last us many years as it grows and upgrades with us. I applaud HP on its ability to combine these components, operating system and price into one sweet package!
