Strengths: Fast and stable.

Best CPU I have ever had the pleasure to build with. Easily overclockable, and it still runs at 42 degrees celsius at 2000+ speed with the included heatsink/fan. Don't think I'll be using Intel for quite some time.

Strengths: Fast,reliable,cheap,stable

Weakness: runs a little hot

This is the best cpu i have evey had. It has many strenghts but few weaknesses. This cpu works great with the k7s5a motherbard. Had it about 18 mounths and still happy. It has the power for high performance games but is still beary affordable. So if your looking for a cheap upgrade here's one for you.

Strengths: Very fast,and 3dnow brings better graphics.Beats intel pentium 4 2.00ghz.

Weakness: None that I can see.

THis processor is the best out here.I payed mines only $64.Compare amd price to intels price you'll pay about $100 more for intel and get less performance.I recommend you go with AMD.

Strengths: Cache, XP performance, cooling, EVERYTHING!

This processor is one of the best of there. Big cache which works better than the way the P4s are designed. This results in better performance. Its called the 1700+ because it has the performance of a P4 @ 1.7Ghz or better(+). Its performance is this much better because its archutector(the way its made) is far supearior in comparison. I got it for $130, but its now $70. This is very cheep, for its performance to price ratio. Never a problem, easy to cool. Works perfectly with the cheep mobo I bought, the ECS K7S5A. HIGHLY RECCOMNENDED!!!

Strengths: Very good price (got mine for $78). Excellent speed.

Weakness: None yet.

I upgraded (almost built a new one) my system using ECS MB using above CPU. The CPU worked flawless. It's really fast. No crashes or hangs at all.

Strengths: Good, fast and stable processor

Weakness: The number itself confuse people about the real speed (1700+ = 1.46ghz)

When using with Win XP, it produce extreame performances compare to Intel products. It also produce quality display when we play 3D games and I thinks that this processor is vulnarable for addicts gamers when combined with Nvidia display cards.

Strengths: FAST CPU, great value for the dollar

My 1700+ system turned in a 2001 business winstone of 60.2 (better than P4 2.2ghz). Runs cool between 36 and 39 degrees Celsius. Far better value than Intel products.

Strengths: Fast CPU, faster than P4 1,6 Ghz. Good allround performance. Cheap !

Weakness: CPU is getting hot to quick !

Good CPU, i am satisfied. Better CPU tan P4 when you're playing 3D games. Creative users could better buy an AMD CPU than Intel. I think Intel is too expensive and you will pay for their name. AMD is a budget CPU and scores better in the benchmarks. AMD Athlon XP 1700+ is performing well and can also beiing used as an office CPU.
