The Thermaltake V4 Black Edition is an entry-level mid-tower computer case designed to offer high-end features at a low price. It features an interior black coating, a bottom-placed PSU design, a screwless design and a fan-based cooling system. Additionally, the V4 Black Edition sports easy-access power and reset buttons as well as a transparent side window. The V4 Black Editions bottom-placed PSU design offers superior power supply cooling by way of a removable dust filter and a 15mm foot stand which allows air to flow freely to and from an installed power supply. Its screwless design allows the V4 Black Editions various components, namely the hard drive bays, to be easily accessible at any time. Meanwhile, the V4 Black Editions fan-based cooling system features top, front, side, bottom and back exhaust and intake fans for superior airflow and cooler performance. Features Bottom-placed PSU design Interior black coating Screwless design Fan-based cooling system Easy-access power and reset buttons ... PROS: (1) Very spacious for a midtower case. (2) Good fan design overall, offers good airflow. (3) Bottom-mounted PSU design is really nice, keeps the PSU and other components running cooler. (4) Front USB ports are widely separated, allowing you to use two larger USB drives simultaneously. (5) Excellent price point makes up for the minor flaws. ... CONS: (1) Build quality is a little flimsy compared to more expensive cases. (2) Tool-less hard drive mounts arent perfect--hard drives will wiggle a bit. (3) Motherboard screw holes are a bit misaligned.
