5 Star Review   By member docbenspock - Nov 6, 2005

Strengths: light, keeps cool

Weakness: have to ninja the aluminun on the bays to install drives and power supply only 350watts

i really like it, the color size and utilities for it make it perfect for any advanced computer user. the power supply is a little small only 350 watts but for some thats enough. i would recommend it to anyone i know.

5 Star Review   By member antichrono - Jul 24, 2004

Strengths: Light-weight. Small but roomy. Nice standard features.

Weakness: Airflow could be a bit better, I guess. Weak front panel connections (only USB 2.0, no audio or 1394)

There are only enough places for 2 80mm fans, so if you're serious about cooling, either DIY or look elsewhere. Also, in some cases (no pun intended) the videocard can get pretty close to the 3.5" drives. That said, I've had no problems with cooling (but I'm also crazy about cable management...). I love this case and wouldn't trade it for any other. That is, unless a BTX version shows up sometime soon... My door fell off, but that's cause I was being an idiot. Don't spin in your chair with the door open, kiddies. For now it's rigged with screws. I know this isn't a very good review about the case, but the case kinda grows on you. As I said, wouldn't trade it for anything. The innards are easily accessable, it's easy to work around in (for its size), the 3.5" floppy cage is nice, the rails work awesome, it's light-weight... I'll stop there. Pick this one up.

Strengths: weight weight weight

Weakness: people who buy this case not realizing its all about the weight

I read the other reviews in amazement - every thing the other builders were complaining about on this case would ADD WEIGHT - duh - its meant to go over your shoulder and go to a lan party. If anything it could be lighter by having plexiglass on both sides.

Strengths: Lightweight, small a pretty good power supply

Weakness: It needs some removable pieces like the mobo tray maybe a hard drive cage.

All in all its a good case thats extra light and worked out pretty good. It has a good size and fits everything i need it too.

Strengths: Lightweight Good power supply W/LED Side Window Drivebay cover

Weakness: No thumbscrews included Would have been nice to have a removable MoBo tray Some type of wire manegment should be included

Overall this is an awesome case. It is very lightweight and portable. I took this through checked baggage inside of a suitcase and it came through fine so it is also durable. Everything was easy to install, plenty of room. When I was reading reviews about how small and portable this was, i was expecting a min-tower, but this is a nice size setup. Just perfect.

Strengths: Lightweight, well-built, well-designed, hinged front cover.

Weakness: No thumbscrews, could have used Antec's side latch.

This is about the perfect case for portable ATX use. It is very lightweight (~11 lbs), half of the steel cases, but with similar rigidity. It has a smart ATX power supply, but it does seem to lack a powersupply external temp lead. The parts were all nicely made, everything fit perfectly, documentation was good, and the front cover hides my mismatched peripherals. The quality seems better than the heavier Lang Li (SP) aluminum cases, at a lower price. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't want a steel case.

I bought the LANBoy because I'd heard some good reviews on it. Brought it home, opened the box, depression set in. This case feels about as thick as a bud can. It didn't even sit flatly-it would rock a little on its feet. I took it back. I DO NOT recommend this case!
