Works for what I need it for

Strengths: Works as advertised

Weakness: None

I needed something that allows me to plug my computer into my new 37" 1080p LCD, since DVI is essentially the same format as HDMI (w/o Sound), it works perfectly.

Don't buy a Monster Cable, it won't make your 1's and 0's any more crisp.

Finally an integrated solution for DVI rear projection HDTV to HDMI cable box

Strengths: no converter box needed

Weakness: none

I've been looking for a way to connect my rear projection HDTV with DVI input to an HDMI capable set top box. This product offers the perfect solution, without any other converter boxes needed. Picture quality is excellent, though only slightly better than component cables. You still need to run separate audio cables, because the DVI interface is a video-only signal. StarTech.com - Video cable - 19 pin HDMI (M) - DVI-D (M) - 6 ft - black

Strengths: Economical price, proper length for this application

Weakness: None

This DVI-HDMI cable may be considered "generic" by some authorities, but it connected as easily as any of the cables I've used previously and the price was about 1/3 the price of the "name" cables. To date it has performed perfectly.

Good cable

Strengths: great picture, very sharp. excellent HD quality

I would definitely recommend this product. The cable came as described and was very easy to hook up. After i plugged in the cable i was ready to go. The picture quality I believe is no worse than cables that are more expensive and with bigger brand names. definitely would recommend.

Great cable

Strengths: Well made Great price

Weakness: None

I bought this cable to hook up my computer to my Sony Wega HDTV. Works absolutely great. Perfect solution if you want to hook up a DVI device to a newer HDTV that doesn't come with a DVI port, but an HDMI port instead.
