A little expensive
4 Star Review   By karla_tsan on Adorama - May 7, 2012

This was my first flash I bought, I was looking for something small and lightweight. It does a very good job. But now that I'm getting to know better the capabilities of other products I think this is a little expensive for what it does, and the biggest c

Decent flash for its price.
3 Star Review   By Mark D on Adorama - Sep 9, 2011

This is a decent flash. It's small and lightweight so you can bring it without taking up much space or adding much weight. I found the exposures to be inconsistant. I replaced mine with a Nikon SB-400 which I like much more. The Sunpak is a lot less expen

NICE ADDITION TO MY GEAR
4 Star Review   By santzskie on Adorama - Sep 5, 2011

It's actually a pretty good flash. It does have a weak output but way better than my built in flash. Easy to carry aorund. Fits perfect in your shirt pocket. A good alternative to the SB-400. Cheaper too!

Good flash
4 Star Review   By Danny on Adorama - Jun 4, 2010

The build of this flash is good, and it works well. I mainly use it in the house or small business offices for when a SB 600 or bigger isn't needed. I picked this as my replacement t the SB400 when I lost mine. To me, it performs the same and I would reco

Priced right, works as advertised.
4 Star Review   By mike on Adorama - Apr 12, 2010

Great for snapshooting. Expands coverage, can bounce and diffuses well for wide angle coverage. Recycling is reasonably fast with lithium batteries.

Great little flash
5 Star Review   By Mark D. on Adorama - Feb 23, 2010

I bought it for my Nikon P6000 compact and it's great for that. It's small but reasonably powerful and not too big for a compact like the P6000 or Canon G series. It also can be used for bounce flash. I also use it with my Nikon D90 and D60 when I don't w

Same as Quantaray XLF-50 Flash for less!
4 Star Review   By FiveSaints Photography on Adorama - Jan 11, 2010

This little flash is great and it's the same as Quantaray for a lot less money. It's not a high end flash but it's way better than a built in flash. It does a great job in the under 25' range.

Pleasantly Surprised
4 Star Review   By RickB on Adorama - Dec 26, 2009

I was reluctant to purchase the Sunpak RD2000 over the highly rated Nikon SB400 for my D60. The price swayed me, though. Spending money on something that does not work is throwing money away. If nothing else, this could be an expensive manual backup. I ha
