Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX10V (Black)
3.5 Star Review cnet.com - Apr 5, 2012

THE GOOD: The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX10V is a feature-filled compact megazoom with very good photo and video quality and a useful zoom lens. THE BAD: The HX10Vs 18-megapixel resolution is more about marketing than image quality. Many of its shooting modes require multishot processing, which slows you down and cant be used with moving subjects. THE BOTTOM LINE: Sony continues to crank out nice compact cameras with long zoom lenses, and the Cyber-shot DSC-HX10V is no exception.

Super compact; Not compatible with MicroSDXC
3 Star Review By wildta on Sony - Official Store - Nov 19, 2012

I like the camera except that it's not compatible with the not that new technology microSDXC which is really too bad because now I can't use the much larger 64gb microSDXC cards. The files on this thing especially shooting 1080p are really big so I'm limited to 32gb microSDHC cards which are also slower in speed than the microSDXC cards.

DSC-TX66
5 Star Review By sgild on Sony - Official Store - Sep 13, 2012

Picture clarity is amazing, and the responsiveness is unbelievably quick - no waiting for it to start up, setting the pic up or shutter delay. Flip the front cover down and click! The pictures are so clear and brilliant they are lifelike. Best camera I've ever had, would highly recommend.

great camera
5 Star Review By Boilerhoosier on Sony - Official Store - May 22, 2012

The camera is fantastic, phone support is excellent; e-mail support also excellent. the inability to download the Cyber-shot user guide really stinks. The in-camera guide is OK, but very tedious to use. I would like to have the Cyber-shot guide readily available on my PC, not just when I have Internet access. Don't hesitate to purchase this camera it really outperforms a lot of other cameras at a higher price.

Very Pleased with the new DSC WX10V/B
5 Star Review By AJred on Sony - Official Store - May 12, 2012

I have owned 5 different Sony digital cameras and each was better then the last. The WX10V is the best of the rest. It is a very easy camera to operate. There are many functions for doing just about anything you want to do with the camera. The 16X optical Zoom takes very clear photos. What I like best is the low light ISO setting for taking photos without a flash. The photos taken with ISO are very clear with great colors. Having said that, I do not like the location of the flash. It wants to pop up right where you would normally be placing the index finger of your left hand on the top left edge of the camera. Takes a bit of use to remember to hold the camera differently than with the older digital cameras The white balance feature also works great in the situations where there is a lot of glare or a very noticible white black contrast issue. Movies come out looking great and the sound - in stero- is as clear as if you were there. Indoor movies of my grandsons band concert turned out better than the movies taken by my son using a digital camcorder. The only negative about the movie function is that it records in HD but the software that comes in the camera cannot convert the HD file to the AVI format required to view a movie made with the camera to be viewed on a non-HD TV using a standard DVD player. That said, there are free converter programs on the web that will handle the problem but wish Sony had included it in their software. Overall, I was amazed at how well the camera performs with a minimum of camera photo taking knowledge. Great camera at a very reasonable price.

Small Camera, Big Pictures
5 Star Review By JIbdaddy on Sony - Official Store - Apr 5, 2012

I have only used this camera for a couple of weeks. Though the comparison is somewhat unfair, I would say that this camera is almost a micro DSLR ( I won't mention any brand names). In direct comparison to my 18mp ______, the Sony TX66 held up quite well. Comparing jpegs from the TX66 and the 18mp ______, in a side-by-side test, in the same light, the Sony is only a slight loser............ And it cost about a tenth of the price. Now, I am not ready to leave my _________DSLR at home just yet, but as a backup, easily concealable, quiet, surrepticious, lightweight monster, this camera fits the bill..................
