Description
As a more portable solution than a DSLR, this digital camera captures high-quality images without limiting your creativity. The F1.4 aperture is backed by an exclusive nano-surface coating technology to deliver exceptional optical performance with stunning clarity. The multi-exposure function gives you the ability to take up to three exposures in a single frame so you can layer subjects that wouldn't ordinarily appear in the same frame, or make one subject appear two or three times in the same frame. The image-processing method used by LUMIX records beautiful images with less distortion or visible image links. Create dramatic soft backgrounds with shallow depths-of-field using the aperture ring. Record high-resolution full-HD videos in AVCHD progressive (MPEG-4/H.264) format. Video recording can be easily started with the press of the motion picture button, making it convenient for switching between photo and video shooting instantly.

DCRP Review: Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX7
4.5 Star Review  DCResource - Aug 14, 2012

Overall, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX7 is an excellent premium compact camera. Its fast lens, performance, and manual controls will make enthusiasts drool, while those just starting out can get great results using Panasonic's Intelligent Auto mode. There's very little to dislike about the LX7, with my main issues being redeye, slow buffer flush times when shooting RAW images, and vertical lines in panoramas.

Love this camera
5 Star Review   By Mari on Adorama - Jul 21, 2013    ( See more reviews from Adorama )

Love this camera! It takes amazing reach colors and high quality pictures and videos. Love the art mode for images - you and create your own photography art and no need to retouch. Great size that doesn't feel heavy at all. The battery life doesn't last that long when you shoot a lot of videos but the charger is light and small so you can bring it with you everywhere.

The Lens for this camera is amazing for what it offers as bright as F1.4 on the wide to telephoto at F2.3 even the highly regarded RX100 which stops at a slow F4.9 can't be touched it really makes a difference despite the small image sensor. Not only that

Excellent camera
5 Star Review   By Borocay on Adorama - May 28, 2013    ( See more reviews from Adorama )

The camera is a joy to use and takes great pictures in low light. It also has a high resolution display and has a very fast focus. I was not fond of the lens cap so I installed an auto lens cap along with a UV filter to protect the lens. It's a little big

Camera Bliss
5 Star Review   By Mizzouxc on Adorama - May 28, 2013    ( See more reviews from Adorama )

While other people find fault with this camera, I can find none. It's got a nice, fast, clear, and distortion free Leica lens. In addition, when you press the shutter button, it actually takes the photo that instant. You can also take many more after that

Gawd I Love this Camera
5 Star Review   By Private Hollywood on Adorama - May 16, 2013    ( See more reviews from Adorama )

This camera is perfect for my needs. I have a job that requires me to travel often and I don't have the means or desire to travel around with a huge camera and tons of glass so this camera is exactly what I wanted and the images look great.

Fast small and great everyday camera
5 Star Review   By Fast image catcher on Adorama - Apr 2, 2013    ( See more reviews from Adorama )

For the price, I think best on the market. You could get better image quality is the same camera size but maybe twice the price. Finding the filter lens kit is a problem - still working on that!

5 Star Review   By Jordan on Adorama - Mar 27, 2013    ( See more reviews from Adorama )

I bought this camera for my wife because she was taking awful pictures of people with her old camera due to the dark lens in low light situations. This camera has a lot of controls, which I really like. The best feature is the aperture control on the lens
