Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 Review
4.5 Star Review  Imaging Resource - Feb 1, 2013

The new Panasonic G5 takes the best features of the earlier G3, steps them all up a notch and tosses in much-improved ergonomics as icing on the cake. We immediately fell in love with the G3 when we first saw and shot with it back in May of 2011, feeling it was a real watershed product in the Micro Four Thirds space. In the intervening time, models from other manufacturers have caught up with and in some cases surpassed the G3's achievements. Announced last July, the new Panasonic Lumix G5 has upped the ante again, with a number of improvements and enhancements over its predecessor. The competition is stiffer this time around, but the Panasonic G5 is clearly in the top tier of compact interchangeable-lens cameras on the market. Read our review for the full skinny.

Love the Camera the Kit Lens is Meh...
4 Star Review   By Zigstermeister on Adorama - Aug 27, 2013

I have had this Kit for a couple weeks now and have been able to try it in several different situations and have been absolutely impressed. Compared to the pro-sumer compact I've been using it excels in every way. The kit I bought actually came with the 14-42mm & the 45-150mm zoom lens. The 14-42 lens has a very sticky/jumpy zoom action that is consistent with other reviews I've read on this product. This makes it pretty useless for video but the optics and still images are pretty good for a kit lens. that being said it will be useful until I acquire some faster primes in that range. I love the size and weight of this system it easy to keep your gear with you all the time with the right bag. If your looking for a bargain to make the move to micro 4/3's this is it in my opinion.

Not so great
2 Star Review   By ORLANDO PHOTO on Adorama - Jul 27, 2013

Nice physical features and gadgets but picturs quality is disappointing. I compared using the Pana 25mm f1.4 on the G5 and the Oly EPL-3. G5 pictures are blury and skin tones are not natural. I asked Adorama for a replacement thinking it was a bad unit but they refunded me instead. Perhaps thats better.

I use this as a backup to my Nikon rig. I carry in my briefcase. Really nice interface. Viewfinder is really cool too. I find it better to have a built in viewfinder than attaching an external one... feels much more integrated into camera. I usually use v

I recently bought a GH5 from Adorama and just gave it its first major workout. To say I'm pleased is an understatement. This camera can do most, if not all, that my excellent Nikon D300S does (did) at 1/5 the weight. The image stabilization (lens based) i
