3.5 Star Review  Imaging Resource - Aug 31, 2010

Among the smaller and lighter super-zoom digital cameras, the Nikon Coolpix L110 covers a good zoom range, from a pleasing 28mm wide-angle to a useful 420mm. Its 12.1-megapixel sensor means that the Nikon L110's overall image quality is pretty good, producing useful prints from ISO settings as high as 3,200. The Nikon L110 is a very basic long zoom digital camera, built for the novice shooter, but it still has a fairly high-resolution LCD, sporting 420,000 pixels. 4 Star Review  productwiki.com - Mar 10, 2010

The Coolpix L110 is part of Nikons L, or Life series of digital cameras, it is an entry level camera nestled right below Nikons S series. This model has a resolution of 12.1 megapixels and is available in black or red. It comes with a 3" 460k-dot TFT LCD display on the back with anti-reflection coating and has a 15x optical zoom NIKKOR lens capable of shooting a broad range of focal lengths with 35mm format equivalent angles of view from 28mm up to 420mm. HD video recording with stereo sound is supported and the camera can be connected to a tv via the HDMI port for viewing in high quality. Actually up to 7 hours of video or 840 still images can be recorded when using the four included AA Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries. The L110 comes with other built-in features such as electronic vibration reduction, motion detection, auto-focus, red-eye ... PROS: (1) Records 720p HD video with stereo audio (2) HDMI output for direct playback of video and images onto a compatible HDTV / display (3) pop-up flash (4) 3." display with higher than average resolution (460k dot) (5) great value - better than average specifications at a low price ... CONS: (1) not aesthetically pleasing compared to smaller, sleeker P&S offerings (2) runs on AA batteries, as opposed to higher capacity rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs

VERY disappointing
1 Star Review

Strengths: lightweight, easy to carry

Weakness: blurs pictures, overexposes shots

I am so disappointed in this camera. I read reviews indicating it focused quickly and took great pictures. I could not disagree more. I've had nothing but trouble with it, and am unable to resolve the issues by using the user's manual. Several other, more experienced photographers have also had trouble. Their advice? Get a new camera.
