Kodak C433 Digital Camera
4 Star Review   By member pjgrant - Mar 18, 2007

Strengths: It's compact, easy to use and produces clear pictures.

Weakness: It burns batteries quickly.

This camera, after taking more than 300 pictures, appears to be better than a more expensive Kodak camera we owned. Except for the facts that it burns batteries quickly and does not connect to the television, it's a great camera to own and use. We would buy it again and strongly recommend it to people who desire a great experience at a reasonable price.

EasyShare C433 Digital Camera
5 Star Review   By member yaya5258 - Feb 24, 2007

Strengths: Great picture, compact design, low price

I cannot imagine C433 can give me such an impressive picture. It is a small camera but hey, do not be fooled by its 4mp resoulution. It is definetely enough for up to 8.5" x 11" photos. The picture is very crisp!

Kodak C433 Digital Camera
4 Star Review

Strengths: This camera is very affordable. It is my first real digital camera. The quality of the pictures are good.

Weakness: It's bigger than I thought. It's internal memory only holds 8 photos.

If this camera had more 'fun features' i.e. frames, more color options, etc. and more internal memory space, it'd be the perfect camera. I still have been enjoying taking pictures with it.

Strengths: Price.

Weakness: None for the price.

Awesome little digital camera for the price. I picked up for $60 AR. Perfect for a kid. Has all of the basic ingredients that you would need from a camera, especially if it's your first digital camera.

EasyShare C433 Camera
4 Star Review   By member furgoon - Nov 15, 2006

Strengths: **no proprietary batteries **The optical zoom is great **priced at a point that I am not afraid to lug it outdoors or throw it in the car.

Weakness: None that I could find at this point. would like to take pictures quicker.

Uses regular AA batteries that can be obtained anywhere. Takes great pictures. A good value for the money. The pictures look just as good as my Casio for less than the half the money.

EasyShare C433 Digital Camera
3 Star Review   By member aba990 - Nov 14, 2006

Strengths: Great picture, easy to use, low price.

Weakness: No viewfinder, complex overbloated sofware.

I purchased The Kodak EasyShare C433 Digital Camera as a low end camera for home use. I have been using it for 5 days and I find it easy to use with satisfactory picture quality. Easy share Kodak sofware was bloated with feature you usually don't use. Kodak is also trying to sell you their Easy Share technology - printer/camera/PC port docking photo sharing. I find this features and the software annoying adding unnecessary software to the PC. Otherwise low price and satisfactory quality for mandane home use.

Good Value for a basic camera
4 Star Review   By member cyr3n - Nov 13, 2006

Strengths: - good 3x optical zoom - ample size LCD - spiffy user interface - low learning curve (uses standard icons and button layout)

Weakness: - chunkier than the average bear - feels cheap (plastic material painted chrome) - autofocus has a mind of its own

In general, I'm rather pleased with this product. As an avid user of Canon and Fuji cameras, I've been spoiled with more features and quicker response times.. but for under $100 camera, this does the trick. It's got movie capture, macro, optical and digital zoom, red eye redux, and good flash. It takes standard AA batteries and SD cards, also a plus.. (proprietary batteries make me ornery) My only complaint is the feel & presentation of the unit. On the box it looks like a slim metal and chrome body, but it's in fact mostly plastic with a metallic "shellac"... some craft store spraypaints are more convincing. The 3/4ths angle on the box is a marketing illusion, notice how they've tinted the backend darker to hide its rather rotund gang-bangin'-backside. Autofocus also has a tendency to choose its own targets but this isn't the only camera guilty as charged. So, in sum, GOOD CAMERA.. not for showing off.

EasyShare C433 Digital Camera
4 Star Review   By member scembroid - Nov 13, 2006

Strengths: Pictures

Weakness: Video - no sound

The C433 Kodak overall is a quality digital camera. Pictures are clear, settings and features are easy to understand, and price makes this camera more appealing. Many accessories available such as Printer Docking Station and Docking Station, etc. Would recommend a 512SD/MMS memory card. Sister had this camera and I like the quality and price so I went out and bought one.

Grade: A-
4 Star Review   By member nmille06 - Nov 13, 2006

Strengths: Very affordable 4MP camera! Simple to use. Comes with Software CD and USB connection for computer. Also comes with 2 x AA batteries.

Weakness: Camera is thicker than I had imagined. Also I would rather have a lithion ion battery that is rechargable rather than the AA ones. Some prefer AA.

I give this camera an A-. This is mainly because of it's affordability. It's very hard to find a decent camera for a good price. If you can catch a deal, I'd jump on it and purchase this camera.

Kodak Easy Share C433 Digital Camera
4 Star Review   By member dabunner - Nov 12, 2006

Strengths: Great camera for the price. The pixels are really good for anything up to 8x10. Kodak continues to improve & yet stay competitive.

Weakness: The only thing I can think of is that it does not have as many functions as I would like to see on a camera.

Great camera! It will be great for what we want to use it for. If I had anything to change, it would be to add a few more options on the settings, but it's really hard to beat the price on this, so you really can't complain. If you are looking for a great camera for a good price, look no further!

Good little camera
4 Star Review   By member wsn97 - Nov 11, 2006

Strengths: Low price, good photo quality

Weakness: Battery life

This is a perfect camera for portable use. I place it in my car and use it a lot. It has 3X optimal zoom, SD expansion slot and continuous VGA video with sound capture, which are enough for everyday use. The price is attempive considering its low price. Besides, this camera is very easy to use. But the battery life is not very good, for the price and the quality, it is still a good buy!

Best Camera under $100
4 Star Review   By member souman - Nov 6, 2006

Strengths: Takes AA battery

Weakness: No viewfinder, 1.8 inch LCD

It’s a nice camera under $100 and perfect as a gift item. Best part of the camera is that it takes AA batteries. So there is no need to worry about charging batteries or running out of battery. Pictures are sharp for 4 MB camera.
