Canon PowerShot D10 Review
4 Star Review Imaging Resource - Jun 8, 2009

Finally, a waterproof digital camera that looks the part: the Canon PowerShot D10. Capable of diving to 33 feet, falling from four feet, and withstanding temperatures of 14 degrees Fahrenheit, the Canon D10 is ready to weather some tough conditions; tougher than most digital cameras. Its 12-megapixel sensor delivers crisp images to its 2.5-inch LCD, and its 3x zoom is protected within a sturdy bell housing, protected from impact and weather. As with almost all digital cameras, the Canon D10 makes a better wet camera than a dry camera, with more significant corner softening than we see from most digital cameras in the pocket category, but that's a side-effect of shooting through an additional pane of glass on the front of the sturdy housing, something you won't notice in your underwater pictures. The flip side is that you won't be worrying about a lens cap with the Canon D10; instead your only concern will be having more fun with your waterproof digital camera! Click below to read more about the Canon PowerShot D10 waterproof digital camera.

Camera Labs – Canon PowerShot D10 review
4.5 Star Review cameralabs.com - Oct 11, 2009

Canon's PowerShot D10 is the company's first underwater digital camera and it certainly looks the part with its bright colours and submarine styling. The D10 can operate at depths of 10m, and is also dust and shock-proof. As such it's ideal whether you're into water-sports or simply want a camera that's protected from sand or splashes at the beach or pool. The big question is how well it handles both underwater and normal shots, and whether Canon can take-on established players like Olympus in this market. Find out in our Canon PowerShot D10 review at Camera Labs where we compare it to key rivals and take it surfing and kayaking.

3.5 Star Review cnet.com - Jul 30, 2009

THE GOOD: Excellent photo quality; comfortable to use in water or with gloves. THE BAD: Poor design for an everyday camera, expensive for an occasional camera; kind of ugly; mixed performance. THE BOTTOM LINE: It might not look quite right, but the PowerShot D10 is a solid entry into rugged cameras for Canon.

Not Waterproof Over Time
2 Star Review By Kayaker on Adorama - Jun 4, 2012

As a sea kayaker I need a waterproof camera. The Canon D10, like the Canon D20, is rated for underwater use to a depth of 33 feet. However, when the camera was just over one year old, my kayak caught a large starboard wave, capsizing my kayak. I immediate

Canon PowerShot D10 Blue Digital Camera
1 Star Review

Strengths: Sturdy body

Weakness: Bulky and doesn't work all the time.

Purchased this camera in Aug 2011 for a trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. On two shots I got the error message"lens error restart camera" I did and the camera worked again. About 30-45 days later it happened again, but following the message again it worked OK. In Dec 2011 I tried using the camera but always got the "lens error" message. Imagine my disappointment . I've called Canon factory and they gave me a quick fix and the address to ship the camera if the quick fix doesn't work. I'll try the quick fix in 6 days then follow up from there.
