found the camera for 3900 and bought a SECOND body!
5 Star Review   By member wood14 - Sep 17, 2015

This is a great camera. it is hands down, the best Canon I 've used and the downside to it was its price..The Canon EOS-1D X is the flagship of the EOS line. Its full-frame 18.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor and a Dual DIGIC 5+ Image Processors deliver high quality image capture at up to 12 fps (14 fps in Super High Speed Mode) and a powerful ISO range of 100 - 51200 (up to 204800 in H2 mode) provides sharp, low-noise images even in the dimmest low-light conditions. Best Price I've found so far was at getitdigital.com www.ebay.com/itm/Canon...

Upgraded from 5D Mark III
5 Star Review   By dsooley on Adorama - Oct 29, 2013

And I am so happy that I did. The menuing is pretty much the same as the Mark III and the features are outstanding. Have only been shooting it for about two and half weeks but am very impressed with the light gathering of the sensor, the speed of the shutter and the AF system which is state of the art. It is really noisy though...like machine gun noisy. Two huge drawbacks for this camera are 1) not wireless unless you pony up another $600 for a device. In today's technology that is just insane. And 2) no IR shutter release...must use a cable/timer/release.

A solid piece of equipment
5 Star Review   By Basis on Adorama - Jun 11, 2013

I bought this camera because I thought it would be fun to use. Before owning this camera, I used some point-n-shoots, a EOS 40D, and a EOS 5D Mark II. I always used the two DSLRs with grips, so, adjusting to the integrated grip is quite natural. If anyone

5 Star Review   By FotoForU on Adorama - Sep 24, 2012

I consider myself to be an advanced amateur or semi-pro photographer. I do sell a few photos but not enough to make a living. This is my first impressions of the 1Dx after about two weeks of shooting with it. It is heavier than my old EOS Mark III. Th

Fast, sharp and noiseless
5 Star Review   By NelsonPH on Adorama - Aug 29, 2012

I'm a 1D-MKIII and 1D-MKIV owner, and this camera is a major upgrade. The AF System is really fast and accurate, that's a big thing for me as a sports photographer. After two soccer matches (including a night game) I'm really happy with this camera. I ne

This is the best DSLR ever owned.
5 Star Review   By Ezra on Adorama - Aug 28, 2012

I have owned Canon EOS 5d mark1, 5d mark 2 and recently 5d mark 3. I went to Adorama to rent it. Unfortunately it was not available. I decided to buy it. I had expected to see marginal difference compared to the 5d mark 3. After buying it, I went to Skyla
