My previous macro lens was a...
Strengths: Lightweight, small, good resolution
Weakness: deep throat, could be smaller
My previous macro lens was a Vivitar 90 MM Series One. this one is both smaller and lighter and does not require an adapter for 1:1. God Bless computer optics. The throat of the lens is rather tall, perhaps because it is a digital design. I have used it with my Canon film camera and it is a winner. Great clarity corner to corner.
