The perfect lens for me
5 Star Review   By L. Dixon on Adorama - Aug 30, 2013    ( See more reviews from Adorama )

This is the perfect lens for me, I no longer need a bag full of lens to accomplish my photographic work. It is as fast as my original lens, a little heavier, but has a far greater range. It is very sharp, fast autofocus, for the most part, and just looks great on my Nikon D7000.

Versatile range
3 Star Review   By Jake on Adorama - Aug 4, 2013    ( See more reviews from Adorama )

Serious amateur. Use for Landscapes, flowers, nature. A little stiff zooming. Great color. Have only had it a few weeks. Image quality (sharpness) seems to be not as good as I get with my 70 - 300. But, the perfect range. Very versatile. Not too heavy. Hopefully it will allow me to eliminate other lenses when travelling. Bought a new camera at same time as the lens so I'm hoping that the issues are more with improper settings in the camera than the lens. Will re-review when I've had a chance to use both more. Hoping it turns out that the focus issues are from something I'm doing and not the lens/camera!

Great images from this lens. A little on the heavy side and the first one I got did not zoom as smoothly as my 70-300. Returned it and am awaiting it's replacement. Hoping it's better because it's a pefect length. Great all around lens.
