Very nice for the price

Great for casual to serious wide angle shots in spite of distortion at the wider settings. It's a bit larger and heavier than lenses that I am used to but when switching to full frame format on the D600 this was worth it. It's very sharp and focuses fast.

Superb !

I use this for beach and forest landscape photography in Northern Michigan. Coupled with an D800e and paired with the Nikkor 70-300mm and 85mm lens there is not much the group can't handle.

As sharp as advertised

It's a perfect compliment to my 70-200, I had been using my 50, this lens gives me more flexibility... I was a little worried about the f4, my other lens are 2.8 and 1.4; but, since I use it outdoors or with flash the f4 is fine.

It's extreme sharp from edge to edge, corner to corner by F8 but still impressive at larger...

Exceptionally sharp lens

Review of new Nikkor 16-35 mm f/4 ultra-wide zoom lens. I have been using Nikon cameras, Nikkor lenses and scientific instruments for over 35 years. I felt really bad when I was told that I no longer could use my favorite Kodak slide film. Gradually, Nikon came through and they help me attach one Coolpix and a second Nikon digital camera to the microscopes via F-mount attachment. The images were...
