Good Value
4 Star Review   Home Depot

This is a good value toilet and it is easy to install; I did not experience any of the problems other folks have reported so maybe they have made some improvements, so thanks to the previous reviewers for your comments. The height of the lower bowl makes it very easy to rise from sitting on the throne and the dual flush function works very well. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

my only suggestion is not using the wax seal included with this unit, spend the extra 5 bucks and get the wider plumbers grade wax ring. well worth the money flushes with ease I've intentionally tried to clog it and couldnt... to those who claim clogging issues with this unit I suggest checking your vent stack...

Worst toilet I've ever had the privilege to use
1 Star Review   By pops on Home Depot - May 26, 2013

Installed easily enough, but don't do a #2 if you use paper :( I'm having to flush, plunge, flush plunge, flush flush almost every time I use it. The seat that came with this thing is very uncomfortable. It's concave and the outer edge cuts into your thigh.

5 Star Review   By smokeeater62 on Home Depot - May 14, 2013

We were looking for a dual flush style toilet that wouldn't break the bank. We got that in this toilet. Installation went smoothly for the most part. The only thing I would suggest would be better hold down bolt quality. The wing nut style hold downs just don't cut it for me. I have had to retighten them a few times already. (3 times in two months) Other than that everything else seems to be working well. Solids flush w/ one attempt and has not plugged at all so far. The only other thing we upgraded was the seat with a solid wood seat. But over all WE are pleased with it and are planning on at least one more when we finish our master bath. I would recommend this toilet.

1 Star Review   By lilolme on Home Depot - May 1, 2013

This is the worst toilet we have ever purchased. When you use the "solids" button to flush urine, there is still residual amounts left in the bowl making it look stained. Junk junk junk. We regret our purchase and now know why the warranty is so poor.

Great deal!
5 Star Review   By Shel on Home Depot - Apr 30, 2013

Great price -- a really good deal for a dual flush toilet. It was easy to install and is MUCH more efficient than our previous toilets. The only negative thing I have to say is that the flush buttons are counter-intuitive -- you push down 2 buttons for a small flush and 1 button for a big flush -- seems like it should be opposite -- so we have to tell visitors how to use it properly.

LOVE THE HEIGHT AND FLUSHABILITY
5 Star Review   By DAVE on Home Depot - Apr 25, 2013

THIS IS AN AMAZING TOILET AT ANY PRICE. IT FLUSHES CLEANLY AND QUICKLY. WE LOVE THE HEIGHT. THE GLAZING IS VERY GOOD QUALITY. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU CAN BUY A TOILET OF THIS QUALITY FOR $98.00. YOU WILL NEED A WATER SUPPLY LINE THAT IS 16" IN LENGTH. A 12" IS TOO SHORT AND A 20" IS TOO LONG.

Sticky porcelain doesn't flush clean.
1 Star Review   By Robert on Home Depot - Apr 21, 2013

This toilet was rated highly for evacuation of contents. It does do that well. There is never anything left in the bottom of the bowl after a flush. However, solids stick to the bowl and it may take several flushes to remove that. We find that we need to use a toilet brush very often. I wouldn't buy this toilet again.

Junk!
1 Star Review   By Montemans on Home Depot - Apr 12, 2013

Junk! Made in China! I was hesitant to buy a lower priced toilet so I read a lot of the reviews and decided to take a chance on it. Bad idea. I read that the seat is cheap, so I thought that I can buy a new seat. Cheap is an understatement. The biggest problem that I had was after I installed it; I flushed it a few times and noticed water coming out from under the base. I thought I must have messed up the wax ring. So I removed the toilet to see what I had done wrong. Everything looked good. Luckily I bought a wax ring and it came with one. So, I put the second wax ring on it and reinstalled the toilet. This time I didn’t put the tank on it and just poured water in it. Yet again water started coming out from under the base. I removed the toilet and turned it upside down it find a hairline crack in the trap. I’m taking it back and buying something made in America.

Flush valve

Had problems with getting the toilet paper going down but adjusted the flush valves and it flushed everything. The #2 button wasn't touching hard enough twisted it a little to lengthen it and magic.

Don't buy if intend to use
1 Star Review   By Jimboo61886 on Home Depot - Mar 29, 2013

I bought thing after reading all the reviews and decided it was a good fit. After installation which was easy, of course I did several test flushes... This is where I knew it was a "flop". Still, not actually using the toilet I tried flushing a few pieces of septic safe toilet paper and it took 3 ( THREE ) "full" flushes before the paper would go down..I say "full" because the button has two buttons in it, one for liquids and one for solids (aka: a full 1.xx gallon flush) next I poured a tiny bit of orange juice to test the "pe" flush and it took 2 flushes before all the orange juice was gone.. I do have great water pressure so I know that wasn't it - I believe it's just a bad toilet.. Moral of my story - don't waste your time with this toilet - if you want a unique cool looking toilet you intend not to use this is perfect otherwise stay away

Can't beat this one for the money
5 Star Review   By ultrasport on Home Depot - Mar 12, 2013

I don't often write reviews but this toilet impressed me enough that I felt compelled to write one. I installed this toilet in my shop about three months ago. I am very impressed with the way it handles "stuff". I thought the low water usage might result in marginal flushing but that hasn't been the case at all. I have a friend who is a general contractor and he was so impressed with the toilet that he bought one for his own office. My only concern is how well the dual flush mechanism will hold up but it's way to early to evaluate that. By the way, the height of this toilet is great! No complaints here!

5 Star Review   By HappyDad67 on Home Depot - Mar 10, 2013

I never write reviews for things, but seriously...If you need a white toilet with no frills, you can't beat this product. Great flushing power (be sure to adjust the button rods on tank lid to increase/decrease), easy to install (read the directions!) and quality has been great thus far (had one for 9 months in my kids bathroom and just bought another for our guest bathroom). The seat is plastic - may want an upgrade - but it has worked just fine for us.

4 Star Review   By Chad on Home Depot - Feb 24, 2013

I bought this to replace my 34 year old brown toilet flushing at 3gpf...(just bought the house)..this toilet is great for the money, I installed it one night myself....don't even bother putting the junky cheap plastic seat on it comes with...it swivels all over like you're going to fall in...buy a nice Bemis...other than that...flushing power is pretty good though, there has been a couple times I had to double flush....all in all great for $98!!!

Best purchased this year!
5 Star Review   Home Depot

I bought this for the sake of it's water efficiency feature. However, I love having a toilet that is so tall. The toilet works great, and I'm much more pleased than I was with the previous toilet. Other reviews all recommended getting a different wax ring and different toilet seat which I did. I didn't want to be unhappy with any aspect of this toilet and I definitely am not. It's great value, works as advertised and overall improved by bathroom. Connecting the tank to the commode was a little tricky but doable. It just took a little time. I highly recommend this!

Don't waste your money on an expensive toilet this one works great!
5 Star Review   By MrFrugal on Home Depot - Feb 21, 2013

We are in the process of remodeling our home and with so many toilets to choose from we were at a loss as what to purchase. Well I was anyways, my girlfriend said let’s just buy this one it’s only $98.00. We needed four but only bought one just as a trial and I must say I was so impressed we bought three more. The toilet works great and it’s very comfortable. We did upgrade to a soft close seat but again I will say the cheap plastic seat was far more comfortable. Don’t spend $300.00 on a fancy toilet when this one works GREAT!

All the features, amazing price
5 Star Review   By Runningamuck on Home Depot - Feb 14, 2013

I wanted toilets for our new home that were well rated for flushing, chair height and not horribly ugly. I checked consumer reports and the MaP ratings then went shopping where I discovered my "perfect" toilet was going to cost me $500. I was reluctant to purchase this toilet because I was afraid it would not perform well, I mean I was looking at $500 toilets thinking this cheap toilet from Home Depot just wouldn't work right. Unable to part with $1,500 for the 3 toilets we needed I decided, we could try one to see if we like it, then upgrade if we needed to. I mentioned this to a friend who is a tile installer and he told me he had installed around 20 of these toilets and the customers had been happy with them. My friend's comments and my penny pincher ways won out and I bought one for each bath. That was a year and a half ago and we have not had any trouble with any of them. They look great and most importantly they work great. The low water usage is a fab feature and we haven't had any problems with clogs, dirty bowls or needing extra flushes. I am still happy with my purchase and have recommended this toilet to several people for their bath remodels. It's also awesome that everything you need is included in the box. We did upgrade the seats to soft close seats at the time of install so I can't speak for the included seat.

Great replacement toilet
4 Star Review   By CityRider on Home Depot - Feb 10, 2013

This toilet replaced a Briggs 1.6gal model and has far surpassed all my expectations. The flushing strength is more than enough to get the job done. It looks like it should cost more than I paid. The dual flush option and the taller seat height are both premium options. I will be installing another in my second bathroom shortly.

Great toilet-be careful if you have a septic
5 Star Review   By KimN on Home Depot - Jan 28, 2013

We have owned this toilet for 2 years now and the toilet itself is great. Two adults use it and we've never had any problems, never even had to plunge it. I strongly suggest using the most amount of water for each flush with toilet paper...no matter how much you use. We found out the hard way that there needs to be a lot of water pressure to get the toilet paper out to the septic tank, and unfortunately we had some toilet paper get stuck. We were unsure of the problem so we snaked all our lines and couldn't find the issue. We had to call the septic company and have them investigate. The toilet paper got stuck and backed up. The septic man said he hates these toilets because this problem does happen.. The first question he had for me was "do you have an energy efficient toilet?" He said the best thing to do is flush a 5 gallon bucket down the toilet every month or so just to make sure nothing is getting stuck. I still love this toilet, and we haven't had any problems except for that. It was a little tricky to assemble. Not sure how easy it is to get parts because we've never had too. I would still recommend this toilet. Hope this info. helps someone!

The worst decision we made
1 Star Review   By Bdk32 on Home Depot - Jan 22, 2013

This toilet was the worse decision we made when remodeling one of our 2 bathrooms in our home. This toilet does not have any power and therefore any and I mean any amount of "solid material" that needs to be flushed will not be removed, even with several flushes. The multiple flushes complete negates the effienciency altogether. If I could I would return this as soon as possible. As it is DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

don't like and I'm stuck with it
2 Star Review   By kacey on Home Depot - Jan 16, 2013

Installation: needs the additional kit from Home Depot for the decent wax ring and brass bolts for additional cost. Use: The single flush can be used only if flushing down urine and not tissue. Thus, totally worthless in a female only household. I'm not gullible enough to believe just because the paper barely vanishes from sight that it is truly "gone." Water: does not store high enough to prevent skid marks. Home Depot has an upgraded flush valve (for water adjustment) for another cost. Button: Not for arthritic nor old hands. Takes 2 fingers and a hard push for every flush ....and holding it down. Would much prefer a toilet with regular handle. Will see this weekend how it works with little grandchildren. And you can forget about flushing "mid-way" unless you squirm around on the seat. No more flushing with my elbow! Appearance: Ugly. Tall skinny tank. Seat: Flimsy. Did not use. By the time I made all the adjustments to this product, the cost was 50% more. The only thing I like about this toilet is the 'comfort height' now specified by the ADA. In closing.......something that I heard long ago....... "The bitterness of poor quality remains LONG after the sweetness of low price has been forgotten"

This toilet gets streaked with solids every time. Don't buy it.
1 Star Review   By truthquester on Home Depot - Jan 6, 2013

Bought this toilet because of its dual flush figuring I would save water. Boy was I wrong. The shape of the bowl is such that solids hit the bowl and leave marks every time. It happened to everyone who used it. Any water savings are completely wiped out when you flush it fifteen times to try to get the bowl clean. Poor design. WEAK flush. I had to pay a plumber to install it, then remove it and pay to install another toilet (another brand's low flush which cost twice as much but worth it!). DO NOT BUY THIS TOILET. If you do don't say I didn't try to warn you.

defective parts
3 Star Review   By jmr1 on Home Depot - Jan 1, 2013

I installed two of these to replace 60s toilets. No problems with the first one. The second one was missing the lid (the store's fault, not the manufacturer). Also, the included wax seal was dried out, scrawny, and would not adhere to the toilet. When I tried to install with a new seal, the head broke off of one of the flange bolts. Save yourself extra trips to the store and buy an extra seal and bolts. Other than these annoyances, the units work great.

Terrible Toilet
1 Star Review   By Maggie on Home Depot - Dec 9, 2012

This toilet backs up all the time. It can not handle anymore than a few sheets of toilet paper. We live at the mercy of a plunger. Because it is water efficient, there isn't much to help waste go down, so it needs to be cleaned after every two or three uses. It always looks dirty. It's appeal is that is better for the environment, but I'm sorry, it is not worth it. We just got this a few months ago and we are already buying a traditional one to replace it.

Great Value Water Miser King Throne!
5 Star Review   By KentuckyKing on Home Depot - Dec 4, 2012

I was about to purchase a "dual flush" then noticed this one used less water on a regular flush than a light flush on the other dual model. I actually liked it so much I went back and bought another for the upstairs bathroom! Fitting was really easy - the only thing I suggest you do is tighten the big nut on the bottom of the cistern a little harder than it comes; it's really not tight enough. Fit of the lid on the cistern is what lets this down and makes only "good" on the quality - it's not bad really, but I'm a perfectionist! I took a grinder to mine and it fits perfectly now! The seat is also flimsy, but I'll replace it with a soft-landing one soon - I love those no end! Height is really nice, you really do feel like a King sitting atop this Porcelin Throne. As regards the toilet in use - it uses barely any water, but has a 100% first-time flush success. One month later, and we've yet to push for a second flush even once! The flush is also quiet compared to most toliets. I totally recommend this toilet to any other Lords, Knights or Princes for the ultimate "King for five minutes" sensation.

Very pleased with this toilet
4 Star Review   By puppa31 on Home Depot - Dec 4, 2012

My review is based on the past week of using it since I installed it. In terms of the toilet functioning I have no complaints regarding it - Actually pretty impressed as I was a little hesistant because I saw some of the reviews after buying it. It flushes with plenty of pressure and is really quiet. For the reviews that complain about having to flushing it multiple times or it getting clogged, I haven't experienced that. Perhaps they don't have the water level adjusted properly in the tank or the flushing rods set properly. The flush buttons on top are plastic but seem to be sturdy compared to others I looked at in the same price range or slightly more expensive. The cons if they are considered cons are: - Make sure you measure the space you have. I originally bought it for the bathroom on the main floor but there was not enough space between the floor bolts and the wall so I had to put it in the master bathroom which actually turned out even better. - The toilet sits higher than a normal toilet so make sure the connection between the water pipe from the wall to the toilet is long enough. Mine was not so I had to run out and get a new one - The toliet was missing the rubber sealer that is used to connect the tank to the bowl so that was an additional trip back out

First flush saver toilet I have ever bought and after reading other reviews (Quanity and quality) I decided on this toilet. Heavier than I thought it would be, but it requires assembly so you don't have to carry it as one piece. No aditional assembly kits are requited, wax ring and seat is included.

Easy install, works great. I have just installed my 3rd one of these toilets to replace all my old toilets.
5 Star Review   By Robbo on Home Depot - Nov 26, 2012

I've just replaced all of my old toilets (3) with this model. I installed one, and waited a few months to test it out. Having no complaints I decided to replace my other toilets as it's incredible value for money. The seat is a little on the cheap side and could be replaced and also the water tank seal is also on the cheap side, however it all works perfectly out of the box. No leaks, and easy installation. I don't quite understand complaints of leaking, maybe an installation thing vs. quality of toilet as you need to ensure everything is snug & tight for it to work properly (as you'd expect).

This toilet is horrible
1 Star Review   By HomeDepotAddict on Home Depot - Nov 26, 2012

It's been two years since this toilet was installed by a professional plumber. It has been literally shutting down over the last year and a half - tank doesn't work, flushing sometimes works. Getting ready to go buy a new toilet to replace it now.

Great budget toilet
4 Star Review   By Wagonbacker9 on Home Depot - Nov 20, 2012

For the price, I cannot complain. This went in my 2nd bathroom, and I'll probably get a higher end model for my main one, but I definitely can't complain.

You get what you pay for
1 Star Review   By bb123 on Home Depot - Nov 19, 2012

Save your money. This toilet, 8 times out of 10 has to be flushed twice just to get paper to go down and it is the worst ever to clean. Where the water flushes through is impossible to clean and the bowl always looks dirty. I don't know if they forgot to put some kind of sealer on it or what. I never thought I would hate a toilet but I do.

Very Easy to install. It looks sssooo good.
5 Star Review   By Trex on Home Depot - Nov 18, 2012

Installation was vey easy. I did not have to do anything inside the tank. Just connected the water line, screwed in the flush botton on the cover and just put the cover on. The package came with all parts and those parts are good parts. The tank makes the whole set looks so attractive. Water fill up fast. However, the only draw back is the flush power for 1.1 gal. I tested the toilet with smelly color liquid. I could see the color and smell of the liquid when I tested 1.1 gal flush. The 1.6 gal flush option just barely did the job. Still a good buy for a guest bathroom. Keep in mind that this one is 33 1/2 inch tall and 31 inch long. It is about 3 inches taller and 2 inched longer compare to the 1.28 gal with normal tank same brand. I have both installed at my place and I could not tell the difference. However, I could notice that this set is heavier compare to the normal tank version.

Excellent value
5 Star Review   By Jimbo on Home Depot - Nov 17, 2012

We got this while putting in a new hardwood floor in the house. Saw some good, some not so good reviews but having spent time in other countries I know that most have these dual flush toilets. This one is a real bargain. Installed easily. Flushes, I think, better than the other ones in the house. The only small issue is with the seat bolts. They don't stay tight so I replaced them.

Awesome toilet
4 Star Review   By workerant on Home Depot - Nov 13, 2012

Luv dual flush. Very easy flow and fast refill. Just wish it's a bit more quiet than my old toilet. I don't mind a bit slow refill if it were more quiet. problem I ran into was the dept. Replacing my round toilet and this new is too deep. I had to cut the wall to give it more dept.

Does the job very well
4 Star Review   By DIYguy on Home Depot - Nov 12, 2012

The toilet was very easy to install and does the job very well. Now I just have to remember which is the little flush (blue) and which is the big flush (silver). The colors of the buttons should be opposite because blue rhymes with poo. Everything you need to do the job, minus the tools you provide, are included. The bowl, seat, tank, the innards in the tank, seals, bolts, nuts, washers, and the wax ring are all in the box. One item I found that made the job a little easier is to cut the bolts that fasten the bowl to the floor with bolt cutters instead of the suggested hacksaw. Please note ... before you leave the store with this toilet, buy a quality seat. The one you get with this toilet seems like it's meant for temporary use only as it is thin, flimsy plastic. It also slides around because you cannot tighten it enough to keep it in place. The price of the toilet is exceptionally reasonable so throwing in a few bucks for a quality seat shouldn't be an issue. The seat is the only reason I did not give this item five stars. 4-3/4 stars would be appropriate. Happy pooping!

3 Star Review   By WaitinginCalifornia on Home Depot - Nov 7, 2012

Still waiting to install, so not sure about the flush, performance or reliability. Bottum part of the toilet looks as good as any other, no rough edges or questionable pieces, the tank concerns me because there is so much cheap looking plastic including the button. Not too worrisome for an adult living alone, but kids could probably break some part of it pretty easily. The flush mechanism is plastic too, so again worry abt reliability, bt I shall see. Should be installing this in a week or two when I get the missing part.

Can't go wrong for the price!
5 Star Review   By Paul215 on Home Depot - Nov 3, 2012

Installed 4 of these toilets in the last year and not one problem so far. No clogs yet and the flushing action is very good. Each DIY install went well without a hitch taking about 1 hr. to remove the old toilet, clean the flange, and install the new one. I have spent upwards of $600 on toilets and I just could not justify doing the high end deal again. FYI - I was concerned about buying such a low cost toilet, but Consumer Reports also rated these as one of their top picks.

My favorite place in the house!
5 Star Review   By Billy on Home Depot - Nov 3, 2012

Its a toilet! with some new technology. Just hope it doesn't cost too much to replace parts well into the future. The traditional flapper valve has been replaced by a dual flow flapper cylinder assembly. I just picked up and installed one of these toilets this morning. I made sure all parts were used as the instructions illustrated, because I saw some reviews mentioning leaks, and I wanted to make sure it was assembled according to the oem. I found it would be pretty easy to skip a few pieces if not following the directions, like the washers on the bottom side of the tank. The tank bolts comprise of a bolt, two rubber washers (one for inside the tank, one for outside) two ss washers, one wing nut and one hex nut. The tank would certainly hold water with one washer and one nut used but not sure it would hold if the tank was moved from its original setting, in case a user leaned back. I found no leaks in the initial leak check. I was surprised how little water was maintained in the bowl and the tank but an hour or so after installation it received its first test and the waste flushed in a blink of an eye.

Best value for the price - Love the dual flush feature
4 Star Review   By JiminSeattle on Home Depot - Nov 3, 2012

I installed this toilet in the kid’s bathroom two years ago. It's worked well. No problems at all. Bought the soft closing seat/lid combo and now the boys can’t slam the lid closed when the walk away. Bought two more of these toilets and installed them in the master bathroom and guest bathroom. I like the design, functionality, price, and on top of that we are using much less water to flush.

Not enough water
1 Star Review   By Rehabgal on Home Depot - Oct 24, 2012

Dont waste your money. Simply put, worst low flow toilet I've ever had. Cheap and ez to install. Not enough water in the bowl to flush away so constantly cleaning. It's like a urinal. No water to clean rim either. Called mfg and cannot adjust water levels. cheap seat so you'll spent another $20 on My other 1.6 gals didn't do this..but who would take apart and bring back?

Great Product and Value - Easy to install
4 Star Review   By LMMA on Home Depot - Oct 19, 2012

I recently purchased and installed 2 of this products. The installation process was really simple (all parts were included on the box) --- the videos on homedepot.com that explain the installation of toilet process were very informational too. The only negative I have on this product is related to the toilet seat. Even though, I securely set the seat to the bowl, it continuously gets loose. I finally got another seat on home depot. It is perfect now.

Bang for your buck!
5 Star Review   By raquettelaker2 on Home Depot - Oct 17, 2012

I went in to Home Depot prepared to spend $300+ on a toilet to replace the 1950's doll-house-sized toilet in my new to me house. The dual flush on this model caught my eye and then I saw the price tag. Figured I couldn't lose! I'm just a DIY homeowner and with the help of a YouTube video was able to complete the full installation very easily. Flush power is GREAT for the "solid" button though I'm not 100% convinced the "liquid" button gets rid of everything, but whatever; it's more of a novelty for me as I'm on a well. The gasket from between the tank and the bowl IS very cheap and somewhat difficult to get into place. It doesn't look like what's pictured in the manual so I scratched my head a couple times looking at it. I press-fit it to the bottom of the tank and lowered it onto the bowl PERFECTLY straight and haven't had any leaks. I put the wax ring in a freezer bag and put it in a pan of water on the warming zone of my stove top for an hour. Softened that sucker right up for an easy install.

High Tech at Low Price
4 Star Review   By Judge on Home Depot - Oct 6, 2012

Well designed, installed like any other toilet. However, the flush valve was defective; it did not drop after flushing and the water kept running. Called the service telephone number on the instructions. The toilet is made by Niagara of Canada; a good company. The technician was good and quickly identified the problem. She said the part was on back-order and would take three weeks. That wasn't acceptable. By the way, the factory setting on the flush valve for the low volume flush is set wrong and must be manually corrected (between the 1-3 marks). I called Home Depot and ASKED FOR THE MANAGER. He said come back and grab a valve from another toilet. The second one worked fine and the toilet works fine. One thing purchasers should be aware of with any high efficiency toilet, how well it works is not only a function of the toilet quality and design, but also of the piping, what floor the bathroom is on and other factors that impact the gravitational suction produced in the waste plumbing.

clogged on first use
3 Star Review   By brothermike on Home Depot - Oct 5, 2012

the first time I used this toilet it clogged and would not flush at all. We had to take it outside and run a garden hose backwards into where the wax ring goes and all the stuck material(feces) came back up through the bowl. This seemed to work but I have not tried it yet. Beware of this issue.

5 Star Review   By WantToBeMoreHandy on Home Depot - Oct 2, 2012

I did the installation myself and I am a female(semi handy). :-). Anyhow, it is pretty straight forward for the installation. It took me longer to uninstall/remove the old toilet than to install the new one seriously. Using the hacksaw to cut down the bolt screw took a bit more time there. Would like get 1 for my own house. I installed this one in a rental house by the way.

So Far, So Good
5 Star Review   By LittleOldLady on Home Depot - Sep 21, 2012

I have 2 of these, both installed by Home Depot; I've had one of them for 6 months, the other for 5 months, and both perform well. Neither has shown any sign of leaks. One of them occasionally doesn't flush the paper down or leaves a little stain, otherwise it works just fine; the other always flushes perfectly. Great for the price, especially since our county has a rebate so the only cost to me was the installation. If I had another bathroom I'd put one of these in it, too. I also like the height.

5 Star Review   By Agock on Home Depot - Sep 9, 2012

We've had this toilet for over a year now and have had zero problems with it. It was affordable, in-stock, easy to install, and saves water. Listen to the other reviews and pay a couple of extra bucks for a better wax seal. We also purchased a slow-closing seat since the original seat was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise no regrets and I would buy another in a second.

Poor performance, did not meet expectations
1 Star Review   By Lola on Home Depot - Sep 4, 2012

I purchased "Glacier Bay 2-Piece High Efficiency Dual Flush Complete Elongated Toilet in White," and had it installed yesterday. It is not meeting expectations so I need to return it and buy another. The problems are as follows: 1) It says it is ADA compliant, but at 33.5" it is uncomfortably high for my disabled mother. I am 5'2" and it is even a bit high for me, so I need one that is shorter. 2) It is nearly impossible to calibrate the flush mechanism between constantly running and being able to flush, as it is, it is not flushing well, i.e., needs to be flushed repeatedly.

I love this product.
5 Star Review   By Homeimprovementqueen812 on Home Depot - Aug 21, 2012

I have had this toilet for a few years now and I love it. I originally bought the water saving flusher but when trying to install it I broke my old toilet and I really did not have a new toilet in my budget at the time. I was shocked to find that this toilet was only $100 also i have a rental house so I had to buy one for there too. For all of the consumers that have trouble with flushing. What kind of toilet paper are you using or what are you trying to flush? I have not had any issues with flushing. One flush usually the 1/2 flush works for me. I have only had to plunge maybe twice and that is because children don't know when to stop putting paper in. I absolutely love this toilet and will buy another one for my basement. Not to mention, it is pretty funny when people come over for the first time and they are looking for the silver handle and they start yelling "How do you flush the toilet?"

This toilet has no flushing or bowl cleaning ability
1 Star Review   By Kirk on Home Depot - Aug 10, 2012

I installed three of these toilets in my home and have been highly disappointed. It takes three to four flushes to get what makes it directly into the bottom of the bowl flush. What lands at the edge of the water line stays because what little flow runs out when flushing does not swirl or come out at multiple ports just from the front and back. This wastes water and cleaning chemicals. I've contacted the company and adjusted them for as much flow as possible with no results. I plan on replacing them.

5 Star Review   By Jojo on Home Depot - Aug 7, 2012

I decided to go with a new toilet because our old one was more than 15 yrs and we constantly had to change the fill valves and other components multiple times. I read some other reviews and they have to double flush but I just need one and I am good to go.

great toilet!
4 Star Review   By JKJKJK on Home Depot - Jul 23, 2012

We got this toilet to replace a very old one that came with our condo. The installation was done by a contractor, but it was very easy. The toilet looks great and operates well. There is little difference in the two flush sizes, but the tank is filled only about 1/3 with water, so it does use a lot less water than other toilets. The cover of the toilet seat is flimsy- you can't sit on the toilet if the cover is down.

What a toilet seat
4 Star Review   By TimeToGo on Home Depot - Jul 20, 2012

This toilet installed on an 11 inch rough in and I still had an inch between the tank and the wall. The installation went quite well, the only problem I see is the gasket between the base and the tank being a long term problem (cheap). One last thing is the toilet seat itself, it is made of plastic and I mean thin plastic. If you don't ever sit on the closed seat you will be fine. If not you might as well plan on buying another seat when you buy the toilet. Outside of those two things, the toilet looks great and works very well.

We have a 4 year old manufactured home with two bathrooms. The guest bath toilet has never worked properly. About 60% of the time we would experience an incomplete flush requiring a second flush to clear the bowl. Installation of the GB dual-flush toilet was very straightforward, however I did make a minor adjustment to the flushing buttons. I installed the toilet two weeks ago and we have not experienced an incomplete flush. Just follow the instructions; blue button for liquids and chrome button for solids.

Easy to install, but just give it time to fail due to cheap parts!
1 Star Review   By TJ82 on Home Depot - Jul 3, 2012

This is an inexpensive, water saving toilet. But that comes at the expense of quality parts and reliability. Have had this toilet for only a year and it's been a source of leaks and water damage ever since. When I finally was ready to trash it, I decided to call the customer service just to see if there was any other possible leak source. After a very brief, somewhat rude conversation, I was told to expect parts in the mail. I received a new ring to seal the tank to the base...that looked NOTHING like what came in the box. See attached photo... What comes in the box is a cheap piece of foam that doesn't really fit all that well. What I get sent in the mail was a quality piece of rubber that had been specially grooved to prevent the leaks that I had been experiencing for so long. Why this clearly superior piece of the toilet isn't included initially can only be left to the bottom line of pricing. Another corner cut by the manufacturer that is only given to the customer AFTER they complain. So beware, if you buy this product, call customer service FIRST and ask for the correct/quality parts to save a year's worth of headaches!!

does not remove waste properly
2 Star Review   By doingdesign on Home Depot - Jun 29, 2012

The toilet looks good with a modern design. High seat stylish. At the beginning dual flush worked fine. Now after three flushes you have to get the plunger out. You have to hold button to get a full flush and after three or four successful flushes you will have to plunge. Looks good not worth the hassle.

Good overall, but bad flapper design
4 Star Review   By Bubba on Home Depot - Jun 13, 2012

Flapper value leaked and caused the water value to turn on every few minutes. Went to home depot and they opened up a new carton and gave me a new flapper. New flapper leaked also. Found out the the flapper set to high on the over flow tube to allow it to seat properly. Took a knife and shaved about another 1/16 inch depth to the slots on the flapper valve and now the flapper works fine. Toilet works great now and was easy to install.

It's a toilet
4 Star Review   By Dave on Home Depot - Jun 5, 2012

As I said, it is a toilet. It installed like any other toilet, not too bad if you know what you are doing. Nice thing is that the toilet did come with a seat (albeit hard plastic) and a wax seal ring along with all mounting hardware. So, the only other item you may need is the water supply line as the tank is a bit higher up than a standard older toilet. Overall, quality is good, no defects were found and it does have quite a bit of flushing power. This replaced my older 90's low flow toilet that plugged if you looked at it wrong. One thing to be sure you do is adjust the length of the button rods that actuate the flush valves. They came too short out of the box and did not properly differentiate the liquid vs solid push buttons. Once adjusted properly, the liquid works great at just getting rid of the liquid waste and the silver solid button does great at giving a full flush for solids. For the price, this is a great toilet

A really good toilet with a great warranty!
5 Star Review   By Desertdenizen on Home Depot - Jun 3, 2012

We live in the Mojave Desert and wanted to change our most frequently-used toilets to low flow (and taller!) toilets. After researching the available choices and price points, we selected this toilet model for both bathrooms. On my brother's recommendation, we bought a heavy-duty wax ring to use instead of the one included with the toilet, and that was a very good idea. These toilets flushed like magic! All was well for more than a year, and then one of them stopped performing so well, gradually needing more flushes to do the job. When it reached 5 flushes to clear the bowl, I was justifiably angry. I searched all over the place online to try to find a replacement for the flush valve, and couldn't. I broke down and called the number on the sticker inside the tank, read off the model number, and wow! They have a 10 year warranty on the parts I needed. Within a week I had a new valve (at no charge) and my toilet behaved like new again. The other toilet hasn't had a single problem. I'm of the opinion the problem must have been a fluke. Seriously, how could they afford to replace parts for a decade if it were a regular problem?

Has only been installed 1 1/2 wks. Installed in bathroom that is rarely used. Discovered tile and grout soaking wet. Tile and grout have cracked. Water ruined baseboard etc. Has probably leaked since day it was installed. Took toilet apart to discover faulty "O" ring. Cannot be fixed, no matter what is tried. Even installed new guts into toilet bowl. Still is leaking.!! Possibly crack in tank? That's what happens when you buy junk made in China. Never had this problem when puchased items made in USA. Taking this back to purchase something else made in USA.

Dual flush works great. Nice to be able to conserve water. Nice height.

Confusing counter-intuitive controls
1 Star Review   By Chris on Home Depot - May 20, 2012

This is a solid toilet, but the controls are completely backwards. Every guest at my house has been royally confused by the buttons. The smaller button is blue and is intended for #1 and is a smaller flush, but when you push it, it depresses both the blue and silver parts of the button. The silver part of the button is intended for #2 and is a larger flush, but when you press it only the silver part depresses and the blue part of the button remains up. I had to look at the manual about 5 times to convince myself that this was correct, and everybody who visits also thinks that pressing the blue button is the larger flush (because both buttons go down). Terrible design that ends up wasting water. Gaaah! (Also, the seatlid is cheap and flimsy. I bought an aftermarket no-slam seat and am much happier)

Just as advertised!

It was professionally installed but the installer said it was easy to do. He did complain about the short screws that came with the order, so he used his own. It is quiet and the dual-flush is so quick. It is also easy to clean and very attractive in my bathroom.

Do you like to look at skid marks?
2 Star Review   By IdontLikeit on Home Depot - May 18, 2012

I've only had this toilet a month so I can't comment on too much. Just ANNOYED that you have to clean it EVERY TIME you are using the #2 flusher. For some reason this toilet retains skid marks. The solids go down, but there is a lovely stream of skid marks for you to enjoy looking at the next time you lift the lid. Not happy that I bought it. Doesn't matter how many times you flush it.
