monroe max-air shock absorbers model#ma728
Strengths: nice heavy duty construction, packed with air line kit, packed with new frame and spring plate studs.
Weakness: none that i have experienced or heard about.
these shocks are the air type for towing or stability with heavy loads. i had a set of the gabriel's which were not half as sturdily built and they lasted only about two years. this set is built well and have a large diameter cylinder. the air lines and fittings are included in factory packing unlike my old ones. the real plus, also in factory packing,is the heavy duty stud set(a godsend for older vehicles like my land cruisers). my brother-in-law recommended i try these since he has a set on his work van and hasn't had any problems over more than five years of rugged use.
