Very good appliance
Looks good and does the job well. Clothes come out clean ans the machine is very quiet. Looked at many other washing machines before buying this one. Has the best features and the quality is very good.

Love this washer!
Granted, I am comparing it to the 21 year old Kenmore that it's replacing, but this washer does it all. It's quiet, washes huge loads of laundry, spins them almost dry so the dryer doesn't have to work as hard, and has lots of features and settings for everything you'd ever need. Haven't seen my electric or water bills yet, but I'm confident they'll both be less than usual. A wash load takes...

A wash load takes longer than with the old machine, but since I can wash 1 1/2 times the amount in one load as I could before, it doesn't matter. Great machine!!

Front Load HE - I made the right choice.
When my small top load washer broke, I went shopping at the local retailers and began my search for a new machine. The last time I shopped for a washer was 15 years ago. Things had changed over the past 15 years. I didn't know if I wanted to buy an inexpensive machine similar to the one I had, or a new modern type. When I discovered the top load High Efficiency washer, I liked it. No agitator....

No agitator. Stainless steel tub. Plenty of room to wash blankets. Save on water and electricity (drying time). I was shown a small simulated model - how the HE top load works. It looked impressive. I went on Youtube and saw a video demonstration. I became less impressed. I also spoke to a woman who owned one and she was not happy with her HE top load. So, I eliminated that one as one of my choices. Since I had been going to the local laundromat, I took a liking to the front load washers. They were not High Efficiency. They were the traditional fill up with water type. They still use less water than my old top load, but they seemed expensive. After looking for several months, I saw what I thought I was looking for - on sale, on the internet. It was the Samsung front load. I went to the local store to get a closer look at one. Later I ordered it online. It seemed like the exact model that I really wanted - Front Load Washer with a "10 year Warranty Direct Drive Motor" label on the machine. It was delivered within a week. The delivery went very well. I was very satisfied. Here's the surprise - I thought it would fill with water like the old traditional washers. It didn't. It was a "High Efficiency" Front load washer. I sat there and watched several loads. I liked what I saw. This machine, in my opinion, is better than the traditional front load washers. In other words, better than the one I thought I was buying. I save on water ($). I save on drying time ($). My clothes come out clean and well rinsed. You MUST use high efficiency detergent (HE" label - sold in all retail stores). The electronic controls are simple and easy to use. You still should read the manual. It's helpful. I use the High Speed Spin Cycle (Wow!). The last rinse cycle is hot water. I like that. Your clothes come out warm. The other cycles use cold water. It saves on energy ($). Here's my recommedation - buy a FRONT LOAD High Efficiency machine, not a top load high efficiency. Your clothes wash and rinse better in a front load washer. My opinion - I think the High Efficiency technology is meant for "front load rotation". It doesn't work as well in the top load washers. It's in the tumbling and spinning. The Samsung Front Load Energy Saver is a great washing machine. I'm happy with it. I made the right choice.

An excellent choice, replaced a repair plagued Whirlpool Duet
Just plain excellent. Quiet, easy to run, easy to clean the filter from the front access door. We used our old duet pedestal by cutting two board and fitting them under the washer between the washer and pedestal saving additional $. A Win, Win, Win.
