NO GOOD-any replacement suggestions!

This 17-month old machine is twisting clothes, spinning out of control, and the spinning and twisting kicks the machine off. Fixing it will cost more than I paid for it.

PLUS, there is NO way to open the lid, redistribute the clothes and start a spin to clear out the water.

I will have to replace it. Glad I DIDN'T get a warranty because it would do no good!
I won't buy Maytag.

The washer washes clothes.

So far no major issues with the washer. But the lock feature on the door is quite annoying. The wash cycle is extra extra long. We have had the washer now for one month.

This product a good value.

The washing machine spins without alot of noise. The cycles sufficient for our family.

Less than 3 months & it broke

I bought this washer because my mom loved it. I purchased it 7/2012. I do 3 loads a week: delicates, sheets and towels. Barely three months into owning it, the machine starting making a high pitch screaming noise during agitation. Called the "repair man." The transmission was completely shot. Maytag will not replace it. Maytag stated "this is normal that is why we have 1 year warranty with it."

Excellent quality at good price

Well worth the $$, in stock, two day delivery, professional installation included, took the junk one with them.
