Not impressed
2 Star Review   By NHsnowmom on Home Depot - Jan 26, 2011

I've had this steam washer for 2 years now. I have to say that I am really not impressed with it. There are nice things about it like the steam option, but that's where it ends. This is supposed to be an energy saver because it uses less water, however it takes twice as long than a traditional top-loading washer, in my opinion. Another thing...our laundry room is on the top floor, and the washer shakes the whole house when it is in the spin cycle. Lastly, the fight to keep it odor and mildew-free is very tough. I have used a Clorox washer cleaner, but the washer goes off-balance during this cycle and has to be started over from the beginning (again not a money or energy saver). I have not made a habit of leaving the door open because it's good for the door to keep it open without support (and with a small child it may even be a safety hazard,) It is a sleek, aesthetically pleasing washer, but if it doesn't function well, it just worth it to me.

love this machine!
5 Star Review   By teachr24 on Home Depot - Jan 25, 2011

I have never had a washing machine so easy to use. It does all the thinking for me which, in my busy life, is a big plus. I also love that this machine uses less water but if I need or want to use more water, there is that option available. I would highly recommed this product for anyone who does lots of laundry and needs more than the usual amount of options. I have even washed queen size bedpreads and full size comforters in this machine! The only downside, and it is a small matter, is that you have to remember to dry the gasket after using. If you don't you will get an unpleasant odor. It will go away if you leave the door open so the gasket can dry out.

Luv this unit
5 Star Review   By Sunnyg on Home Depot - Jan 24, 2011

We got this one in cherry red color and we absolutely love this unit. It works great, Controls are very easy to use. It's got stainless steel inside, so clothes get cleaned very neatly. Uses much less water. It's just been a month and we have not tried everything that it has to offer. But so far so good !

I love my LG washer... It washes well, is somewhat noisey but what do you expect it is swishing water around. They are stacked in the "laundry" section of my townhouse and it tends to vibrate a little. I love the song it plays when it has finished its cycle.

Awesome Washer and dryer
5 Star Review   By WhoooHooo on Home Depot - Dec 3, 2010

I have had my LG 2301 washer and dryer for a month now and I am totally Impressed. The washer uses very little water and actually injects the soap into your clothes. The spin cycle is extremely fast (1200 RPM) it literally spins your clothes dry. It is very quiet in its operation. The dryer is the same, very quiet. This is the best value for all the bells and whistles. Ditch that top loader and get one of these.

5 Star Review   By Elfi on Home Depot - Nov 16, 2010

I bought this washer about 18 month ago and couldn't be happier. Never being able to afford a front load washer before I was delighted to find this washer to offer an excellent price for LG build quality. While washing takes a bit longer, the laundry seems to be cleaner and brighter.Another benefit is that drying actually takes less time , as there is no way a top loader spins the laundry as dry as a front loader. The large selection of temperatures, wash-cycles, and spin speeds makes it easy to care for your laundry.

5 Star Review   By Debra123 on Home Depot - Nov 1, 2010

I just got rid of a top loader it was about 9 yrs old never had a problem with the machine itself, but it just did not do a very good job . So I bought a new front loader. I am still able to use my powder detergent, just way less, about 1/4 cup or less. The clothes smell cleaner and look cleaner, and I use so much less water. Down side is you cannot add or take out anything once it starts. I have had it about 5 weeks now and I would not trade it for a top loader, even if I got one free with free soap and water. I really like it so much more and it is sooooo quiet.

5 STARS FOR THIS PRODUCT!
5 Star Review   By ghmama2 on Home Depot - Oct 30, 2010

After a lot of research & reading many reviews we decided to purchase this LG front load washer. Home Depot had the best price on this model & free delivery, too! Although this is not the most expensive LG model it has many many features & is more than adequate to keep up with the many loads of laundry I wash each week. I've used most of the cycles & they all work very well, from delicate "hand washables" to big, heavy dirty dog beds --- they all come out really clean. The wash cycles use very little water (you can program "extra water" if you choose) & the spin cycle is very good & cuts my drying time in half. All of this equals lots of savings on my utility bills. I wipe the gasket around the door when finished washing & have had no mold or odor problems at all. I don't even hear the machine running & it doesn't really vibrate even with heavy loads. I can't think of anything to complain about with this machine & I am very happy with my LG washer. I am now "bugging" my husband for a new LG dryer!!!

Awesome Washer!
5 Star Review   By lgfan on Home Depot - Oct 28, 2010

Great purchase! Amazingly quiet, and TONS of room. I've only had the washer for about 2 weeks, and have done few loads, but I know that my clothes are now more clean than ever! All the options I could possibly need are on this model. Instead of opting for steam, we use the sanitary (hot water) mode for doing things like dog bed covers and sheets. Overall this is a wonderful machine. Its cute, quiet, and gets the job done well!

Great investment!!!!
5 Star Review   By Tiffanie on Home Depot - Oct 20, 2010

I just love this washer! It washes my clothes with style. The washer itself is very cool, it has all the bells and whistles, and really cool functions to chose from. The motor in the machine is very quiet, it has a musical alarm when the machine is done, which is the only way you'll know it's done. The dialer and monitor are something out of star wars, and you will be greeted with a series of very pleasant tones when you are adjusting the settings. It is very functional and cleans great. This first night I cleaned all of my couch pillows until 2am, I had run out of thing to clean. I only have 1 problem, but not big enough to give 4 stars, the doors are not reversible. I have one of those strange setups with the washer and dryer being backwards. So all in all, it's a great buy!

good value
5 Star Review   By TTinDC on Home Depot - Sep 10, 2010

This is a major purchase, so I did a ton of research before making this purchase. I read on-line reviews, read consumer reports, etc., and this was the only model that fit all of my needs: price, reliability, ease of use, effective cleaning. I LOVE this washing machine. I only wish Home Depot had prompted me to buy the base for this unit. I didn't think it would matter, but this is my first front-loading washer, and the opening is very low to the ground.

I am very pleased with this washer. Based on the description and specifications that I reviewed prior to purchasing the washer, it performs as described. The manual, along with the quick look sheet, was a great help in getting started.

Great product
5 Star Review   By meh0457 on Home Depot - Aug 4, 2010

Purchased our LG washer in April of this year and are very pleased with it. It replaced an 18 yr. old Kenmore that was still working, but we liked the reviews both online and in Consumer Reports about this washer. Plus we wanted to take advantage of the government appliance rebate program. My husband does all of the laundry and has been telling everyone how great this machine is. It's quiet, efficient & easy to use. Our next appliance purchase will be the matching dryer, which we'll stack with the washer. We are both impressed with the lessened drying time after the clothes come out of the washer. And we're hoping our next water bill will prove we made a wise decision with this washer.

Best washer EVER!
5 Star Review   By Sasafras on Home Depot - Jul 11, 2010

I looked for a front loader when I moved to the country because I didn't like the idea of filling up my treatment center with 40 gallons of water every time I did a load of laundry. After reading reviews and annoying the poor woman in the appliance department, I decided on this washer (and matching dryer). This machine is amazing! Grass stains and mud come out of my son's clothes the first time through, it spins so much water out that I dried a load of towels in 20 minutes, it holds my king size comforter, and I love the little chimey song it plays! The entire downstairs of my house is tile and I have echo issues. Even with the laundry room door open, the only things I can hear from the next room are the water draining out and the end-of-cycle alert. I've never had a washer this quiet or efficient. And you know you nailed the coolness factor when your 4 year-old hangs out in the laundry room because "I just need to watch those clothes play."

First Time LG Purchase!
5 Star Review   By Lindz on Home Depot - Jul 3, 2010

I originally planned to purchase a Maytag because my parents have always loved the brand. However, after reading several positive reviews on the Home Depot website, I decided to try an LG washing machine for the first time. I spent time reading the manual and became somewhat overwhelmed with all of the features, but to be honest, it's extremely easy to use. Another plus is that it's very quiet and washes the clothes very well... they even came out dryer than I'm used to, which also means less drying time. This machine is definitely a great value and I'm very pleased with my purchase so far!

After 2 months
5 Star Review   By JenChip on Home Depot - Jun 23, 2010

I have had this wonderful washer for the past 2 months and I can't think of one negative thing to say! It is quiet, cleans great. and has more options than I really need. The vibration is only noticeable on the highest spin speed, and then only very little. We have a second floor laundry room right next to the master bedroom so a quiet washer is essential!

Great Machine
5 Star Review   By Cleanjean on Home Depot - Jun 12, 2010

I've had this machine for 2 months now and I am very satisfied. This machine gets clothes very clean and well spun out with out harming them. This is my third front loader. It does a much better job than my prior 2 machines. The other machines caused my clothes to wear and fray prematurely. The gaskets on the old machines would retain water and be mildewy. In this the gaskets shed water, the drum drains beautifully and stays very clean. It even has a setting for cleaning the washer itself (great because I wash hairy blankets and towels used with cats , dogs and horses). The spin cycle on this is awesome- it seems like it cuts dryertime by a third or more. There is huge flexibility in washing settings. Washing with this is also fun because it chimes so sweetly when you are setting it along with a sparkling display of lights. The only way this washer could be improved would be if it also sorted, folded and put away the clothes, too.

great washer
5 Star Review   By Elcooper on Home Depot - May 25, 2010

Just received washer last week and am very happy with purchase. LG 2301 got a very good review in consumer reports and LG has best reliability of all washer manufacturers. I like washer has pump filter with easy access door on front- last washer didn't and had to pay over$150 for repair. Great looking washer - now I'm waiting for old dryer to kick the bucket so I can justify purchasing matching dryer. Buying online went perfectly and got great price p.s. - search for promo codes

Simply Amazing!
5 Star Review   By JenChip on Home Depot - May 6, 2010

I bought this washer after my 3.6 year old Whirlpool top loader broke down for the second time. I researched and researched and it was between two washers, and the better price tipped the scales to the LG. It was delivered one week ago. I LOVE THIS MACHINE! It is in our second floor laundry room - right next to the master bedroom. This machine is SO quiet, you cannot even hear it, much less feel any vibration! It has exceeded every expectation. The clothes are cleaner (you can really tell on the whites!) and they come out needing only minutes in the dryer. I am amazed at the difference between my top loader and this machine!

Last Spin Cycle
5 Star Review   By ChrisC1 on Home Depot - May 3, 2010

What they don't tell you that front loads, spin cycle is great but it is very fast. It will shake the floor. Not like top loaders.. We tryed to put them on a small wood platform that came with our new house. That didn't work and would have done damage to the washer or tile floor sooner or later. it is off the kitchen, family room without a door on our main level. It was unplugging itself, shaking the cuboards and tile floor during the last spin cycle. The service Guys were sent out to our home. My husband removed the platform & beefed up the floor under the set to make it as solid as possible. That helped alot. Phil, gave us rubber feet for the washer. This made it ok. It still shakes the floor, but I use meduim spin now. Front end loads just shakes the floor around the washer. I really shopped before I bought these, they are a great pair. I couldn't find a better pair to fit our needs and the price as great. Phil, the manager went out of his way to make this purchase ok for us. We thank him.

Frontload washer
5 Star Review   By grapestomper on Home Depot - May 3, 2010

We had a top load washer before this one. We did our research and decided on the Lg. Checked prices and ended up at Home Depot. My wife says this is the best washer she has ever used. The spin cycle cuts our drying time about in half. We still have the front load dryer, but the difference is easy to see. My wife says the clothes are cleaner, you use less detergent and the machine plays a little music. What more could you ask for. We also had delivery and hook up for free. The guys were great. It could not have gone any better.

No Surprise LG Washer
5 Star Review   By Waterscape on Home Depot - Apr 20, 2010

We have had a great experience so far with this FL washer from LG. We have done approximately 50 loads in it and have been more than satisfied so far. PROs: Cleans very well compared to old Maytag Neptune FL Washer. Extracts water well in spin cycle to reduce drying time. Controls are very easy to use. CONs: Very sensitive to leveling during installation. Had to re-level washer to minimize any shaking and vibration of unit. Display always stays lit while on, even during time delay. It would be nice to turn off display during the time delay wait with the exception of the timer. Overall it has been great so far. We have used all possible functions to test the machine out and have been very pleased with the controls layout and the intuitiveness of its use.

Washers have improved
4 Star Review   By oscarcat on Home Depot - Apr 3, 2010

The WM2301 and matching 2302 gas dryer replaced our Maytag Neptune that in 2001 were the most advance front loaders but high maintenance. Things have improved with washers but gas dryer technology is pretty much unchanged. However, the LG washer spins clothes so dry that they dry in half the time now. After purchase I discovered the washer does not have an interior light, the dryer does. Be aware that LG recommends 4 inches between the machine and the back wall, adding to the 29 3/4 depth. LG also recommends an inch from the sidewall and an inch between the washer and dryer so measure your space. I had to extend the legs on the dryer to flush mount/mate to the height of my dryer vent. To be flush, I similarly raised the washer. Beware: The manual says that the lower the washer, [i.e. the less the legs are extended] the more stable and less vibration. Question: Why do they provide 4 skinny legs if a solid footing is important? Why not have more and/or larger diameter legs? I was planning to put a counter top over the machines but vibration would make it noisy so I am rethinking this. If you plan to stack the machines the dryer controls will be very high/hard to read and reach for many people. My machine is on a tile floor over concrete [typical California concrete slab construction]. Beware of the potential for vibration if you put it on a second floor or typical joist construction; it possibly could be heard throughout the entire house. I would be reluctant to put a front loader in a living area [kitchen]. I leveled mine carefully and have only had one load where the vibration was intrusive. My water pressure is normal but during filling there was a screeching sound. I solved that by turning the faucets thus reducing incoming water until the screech stopped. The machine uses very little water, holds large amounts [4.2 cu ft drum] and I expect it will cut my water consumption and we will wash fewer loads. The fins inside the drum have roller balls on them. It does wash better than my previous front loader. Wash cycles take a little longer than my Maytag but the dryer cycle is shorter so overall a load is completed in the same or less time. We decided that steam was a gimmick and $$, any germs that survived the wash would succumb to the heat in the dryer so this machine does not have a steam option. I am not a scientist so this was not based on data, just common sense and past experience. We are happy with our purchase and hope that it lasts longer than our Maytag. We choose LG based on the brand's good repair record in Consumer Reports.

Fabulous Front Loader
5 Star Review   By Supamom on Home Depot - Mar 19, 2010

Look no further-stop on this one and hit 'add to cart'!!! This is a wonderful washer-absolutely gorgeous in white-very clean, sleek and modern! I first wanted the gorgeous red set, but am very pleased to go with the white and added fantastic red baskets to shelving that looks awesome!! Now it will never be 'dated' (kinda like the olive in the 70's). This washer can hold a king comforter-no problem!! That is why I choose the 4.2, and highly recommend going a bit larger than smaller. Have the matching set now with the 7.3 dryer-they are beautiful, quiet, fast, beyond efficient and just an absolute joy to have in our home!!!! Got beyond a great sale price (also found a 250.00 off coupon at retailmenot-what a huge savings)-purchased the two items for 1,350.00!!! Amazing!!! Absolutely amazing--and the delivery man who set it up was hands down awesome!!! I can't rave enough about my purchase through home depot, go with the LG, you will be thrilled!!!!

Very pleased so far
5 Star Review   By fjsjcs on Home Depot - Mar 8, 2010

We had a smaller front-loader at our old house which used to shake and rattle like a helicopter landing on our house. We moved into a new house which had an old top loader. After two years of using that we decided to test the front-loaders again. The location of the washer is just off of our kitchen and dining area on a floor that is above our basement, so it's not on a concrete slab. I went ahead and got the anti-vibration pads, too, just to help. (Note that you get four little rubber cubes that are about 3 inches on a side that go under each foot of the washer, rather than one big pad.) So far it is awesome! We've done various loads of clothes, sheets and a comforter (our son vomited in bed just a few nights after we got the washer - talk about baptism by fire!). The spinning is great, and it's really relatively quiet with only a little vibration of the machine when it's spinning, but nothing we can feel in the house or floor, even when standing right next to the machine. We've been eating meals while it's running and we hardly notice it when the laundry closet doors are closed. I think the pads were a good call as they probably do cut down on the vibration transfer to the floor, but they also add extra traction, helping the machine not to move at all even with the limited vibration. I appreciated reading the reviews that were posted before I bought this, so hopefully this review helps you, too.

Love to do Laundry now.
5 Star Review   By LuvLG on Home Depot - Feb 27, 2010

Just had this machine installed. Luv it! Son came home same day as machine arrived, exploded pen ink on his jeans. No way my old washing machine would have taken this out. Set the the machine to prewash, normal, & stain cycle. Ink is gone.

LG Washer wm2301hw
5 Star Review   By Soccerfan17 on Home Depot - Jan 23, 2010

My wife and I purchased this Washer and Dryer set at the Steele Creek, NC Home Depot early Jan 2010. We received excellent customer service and a very knowlegable sales associate. The set was delivered right on time as scheduled, and the old units were hauled away. We also purchased the 2 pedestals as well. Set up, install and testing of the units went very quickly. The washer and dryer seem to be of top quality. We are using a liquid HE detergent, and are very satisfied at how well everything cleans with what seems like a very small amount of water during the cycles. This water level/ amount can be adjusted higher/ more if needed. We do add a little warm water to the fabric softener as recommended. Our old washer had a water fill feature at the control setting area, where this washer requires you to get water in a mall container and add it to the softener dispenser. Not a big deal. This is our first front load, and with the pedestal , it raises the unit up to a comfortable position when loading and unloading. (The price of the pedestals could be a little less though, but still glad we purchased them.) The cycles and features on this LG are very user friendly. It will even sense the weight of the load and tell you how much detergent to put in. The child lock is fantastic, very safe. The LG unit does all the work for you. You simply set the main dial on desired clothing type and LG takes care of the rest. (it gives time required, water temp, detergent amount, and cycle adjustment options, just to name a few). The washer and dryer are very quiet, but I still get a minor shake while the washer is doing its final spin. These units are so quiet, we have left the doors off of the laundry room, as we had them off to allow an easier install. The spin cycle is so fast, that when the clothes come out to go into the dryer, they really arent that wet. The spin pulls alot of the water off of them, which makes the dry time much less as a result. When the cycle is finished, a little music is heard to alert you, not a buzzer. We have only had these units for a few weeks, but so far everything is just about perfect, except that when the load is done, you need to pull the clothes out and put them in the dryer, due to a small amount of water that resides around the rim of the door. If left too long, the clothes could get musty smelling. We leave the door open to help faciliate drying of the door etc. after the load is pulled and put in the dryer. We also purchased the protection plan, and being that the units have electronic boards for cycle settings, we thought $25.00 a year for 4 years was great insurence. I would definately reccomend these 2 units and very satisfied during this short period of time we have had them. THUMBS UP !!!!!!!!! PS, price just dropped from when we purchased and received the difference, due to within 30 day guarantee of pricing policy at HD. Looking forward to many trouble free years of washing and drying. One other note, the clothes seem to be fresher and cleaner with these units. They are doing a fantastic job.!!!

What a chunk of garbage
1 Star Review   By Newc on Home Depot - Jan 21, 2010

This is about the worst washing machine known to man. It will not spin bulky items or single items either. It is constantly off balance during the final spin cycle with anything other than a "typical" load of laundry. It also slams the water valves open and closed when filling. This creates a huge water hammer issue that I have never had before in my 5 years in this home. It does save water and detergent but my old school Maytag top load washer worked 1000 times better than this thing. Stay away.

I love doing laundry with this machine!
5 Star Review   By NewHomeownerinCarm on Home Depot - Jan 8, 2010

This machine is amazing! We've only had it and the dryer for 2 months, and I wanted to wait longer before writing a review, but I can't wait any longer! I actually look forward to doing laundry! I love everything about it--the chimes, the display, the ease of use, the efficiency...I highly recommend it. We did a lot of research and agonized over which washer and dryer to buy, but we'd heard a lot of good things about the LG and several of our friends have them and love them. I love how it measures the amount of water needed for the load, and the size is amazing. I used to have to do two separate dark loads (jam-packed), but now I can fit a TON of stuff in this thing! We do leave the washer door open overnight after finishing a few loads, as recommended, and we haven't had any mildew problems. We have it on the concrete floor of our garage, and it is super quiet and still, even when it's going at full speed spin. We had to move it over a tiny bit, and it started to vibrate a little, but my husband adjusted the calibration really fast and it stilled and just purred. Amazing. The dryer is awesome as well, and only occasionally are the clothes slightly damp (since it measures the wetness and adjusts the time automatically). Not a big deal. I cannot be happier with this machine! We even got a spectaculor pre-black Friday sale deal on it and a couple used platforms--new home owners' dream come true!

excellent
5 Star Review   By BBbbb on Home Depot - Jan 8, 2010

a well made front loader with no drawbacks at all. it does not vibrate on our wood frame floor, which was real worry. we stacked the matching dryer with the kit we purchased and it all is working wonderfully. the controls are all electronic ...almost a mini computer... with many custom options. easy to use and does an outstanding job washing the clothes...which is the point right? handles my bulky queen size quilt with ease and bulky blankets or coats, no problem. would recommend this model in a minute to anyone!!! only drawback, is cannot add forgotten clothes to load, which is logical with front loader.

Love my Washer
5 Star Review   By Jay1234 on Home Depot - Jan 6, 2010

I spent days upon days looking at the various models and brands of front load washers and ultimately settled on this pair from LG. I can honestly say that I could not be happier. Every review I read talked about how quiet the machine was, how little water it used, and how clean your clothes came out feeling and smelling...they were all right! I spent 3 days doing laundry when I got it and this thing is GREAT. It cleans my clothes so much better then my old washer did. I previously had a Maytag top loader that was only 5 years old and it was horrible. It leaked all over and was extremely loud. Not this set, they are so quiet the only reason I know it is done is because it plays music at the end of the cycle. One piece of advice is this...BUY THE RIGHT DETERGENT! It does not cost anymore then the regular stuff, but it makes all the difference. All of the complaints you hear about mold and mildew are because people don't do what is recommended! Keep the seal clean, use the right detergent, and leave the door open for an hour till it's dry and you shouldn't have any problems. I would HIGHLY recommend this machine, and the best part is if you can wait till April you will get an instant rebate from the government because it is engergy star certified!

Mildew!
1 Star Review   By LZR2134 on Home Depot - Jan 2, 2010

Maybe I'm one of the unlucky few to have major mildew problems with this machine.. After reading endless reviews I thought I had found the perfect pair... unfortunately I was wrong. From wash #1 our machine has had a very strong mildew smell. Sure I can go buy all the detergents that make it not smell, leave the doors open, etc... but why would you really want to do so much work to make a $800 machine work properly? I've had it for over a month now, I've given it plenty of time... they just aren't worth the "work" and we're sending them back to the depot.

Washer spin cycle-not anti vibration
2 Star Review   By Louinga on Home Depot - Dec 14, 2009

Purchased the washer and dryer. The washer was leveled and anti vibration pads were installed. The washer still vibrates (even on low spin). Vibration is so bad that the washer moves.

Great washer!
5 Star Review   By Shopdawg on Home Depot - Nov 25, 2009

I have had this washer for about three months now, and have washed everything from delicate lace to snowmobile covers. This thing is GREAT! My first load was a test. I washed a load of clean towels from my old Maytag with no detergent. The water was sudsy, removing the remaining soap my old washer had left. We got a super deal on it and a $50 rebate from the utility company. Last week I ordered a new LG dryer to go with this washer, another super deal. Can't wait for it to arrive. Thanks Home Depot!

Nice Washer
4 Star Review   By CalKid on Home Depot - Nov 16, 2009

We ordered this washing machine from the Home Depot after doing extensive research about the differennt machines available; In almost every category of relaibility and performance, this LG model led the way in terms of capacity, price, and dependability. Hopefully, this washer will continue to impress us with its suberb performance. Note: The folks at the Home Depot did an outstanding job of getting this machine delivered to us on the scheduled date andt they did an excellent job of installing this new washer:)

Very Happy!!
5 Star Review   By CatN on Home Depot - Nov 2, 2009

I recently purchased this washer from Home Depot and the delivery was fast and friendly. I ordered the washer online but went to the store to try out the buttons and look at the overall capacity of the drum. I was very pleased with my first load of laundry. It is so quiet. I love how the washer determines the weight of the load before filling with water. I like all the lights and sounds!!! Very Fun to have so many choices.

Excellent Washer and Dry

Love this machine!!
5 Star Review   By CCwriter on Home Depot - Oct 21, 2009

This washer is quiet, holds triple what my old unit did, and has so many wash options. I previously had a Maytag combo that was 25 years old. It held nothing, was noisy and I was so happy to see it go! This washer has an anti-vibration and spin balancing features that work wonderfully. My old machine danced all over my kitchen and stopped working as soon as the load was out of balance. I am very please with the promised energy saving and efficiency of my LG washer and would recommend it to all!

Exceeded our expectations!
5 Star Review   By ChaucersMom on Home Depot - Oct 19, 2009

Great delivery and set up team! This washer is quiet and efficient. My husband loves doing the laundry again! Has a lot of features that we are still trying to learn, but we are up to that task. Great deal offered by Home Depot that eclipsed the other big box store pricing! Have to purchase the HE type of laundry detergent, but that was no problem!

Great washer!
5 Star Review   By amyinla on Home Depot - Sep 26, 2009

We did a lot of research before purchasing this washer on Labot Day weekend. We've lived in an apartment for the past six years so this is our first washer and dryer set so we wanted it to be reliable and be energy star rated. This was one was perfect! We almost bought the smaller model (3.6) but decided for the money, it was worth it to get a larger washer size (4.2). I'm glad we did! We are able to wash our duvet comforter in this washer. There are a lot of options to choose from on the washer..so far, we've done the basic stuff (normal wash) and everything has been great. There is a slight vibration but I think that is going to happen with any type of washer. I've read other reviews/comments so I've been religious about wiping down the the washer door after each wash so a mildew smell doesn't develop! We're very pleased with this washer!

A good washer - cleans well, works well
5 Star Review   By Smartee on Home Depot - Sep 24, 2009

Bought this washer and matching dryer over Labor Day weekend. Love the washer most. Very quiet, washes well, clothes come out clean. Dryer is a bit slower than I expected to get clothes all the way dry but not a problem if you choose more dry setting. This washer I LOVE. Highly recommend to others. Can get a large load washed - load it and leave it until you hear the jingle! Such an improvement over a top load washer. Don't wait - go buy it now, most utility companies offer a rebate for the Energy Star washers and this one qualifies!

Great Product!
5 Star Review   By heathertx on Home Depot - Sep 12, 2009

I got this washer last week, its GREAT! You can wash so much in a load and it is very efficient. It doesnt use much water at all, which will save money. it is very quiet when it is running, the only time you hear it is when the water is being put into the drum. There are a lot of options and modes that are very helpful. I got the matching dryer and it's just as great! You can dry a full load in about 40 minutes. The dry sensor works great too!

So far, so amazing
5 Star Review   By Donjuan394 on Home Depot - Sep 8, 2009

Just got this front loading washer with matching dryer today. It is only the first day so it may be a bit early to do a full review but so far it has worked perfectly. The washer gets clothes super clean and it is so quiet i barely know its on. The functions are very simple to learn and everything is very user friendly, it even has a musical chime to tell you when the load is finished. The dryer is just as good. It was able to dry a medium sized load in about 20 minutes and throughout the entire cycle i barely knew it was running. We have the pedestals for both washer and dryer and they are a great addition to the set. So far I have nothing bad to say about this particular washer and the matching dryer that it goes with. I will probably give an update in a few months, hoping it is just as good.

Great Washer
5 Star Review   By DarKC on Home Depot - Jul 28, 2009

I've owned this washer for about 2 months and I have to say that it is the best washer I've ever used. It's very easy to use, the cycles are preset and can be easily adjusted to fit your needs. My whites have never been whiter and my clothes have never been this clean before. Also, it is very quiet and doesn't vibrate at all. I highly recommend this washer to anyone.
