Samsung has dropped support for this model. They are no longer providing update to the apps and that the site for the apps change the apps stop working.

Everything works as expected, even the colour touch screen "tablet"
5 Star Review   By Keeft on Home Depot - Mar 15, 2013

A great fridge/freezer. Easy to use and access, extremely bright and easily accessed interior. The resistive touch panel "tablet" is not a reactive as capacitive touch screen iPads or Samsung phones, but it works fine. Apps are limited as it runs Linux, not Android (which is a shame) but it works as advertised. Wireless signal acquisition is a little weak, sometime its drops the server connection, but it comes back if you wait a while. Overall we are very pleased, and the separate deli draw is a must with kids who are always hungry and avoids having the main doors open for 5 minutes while they hunt for food.

Good Fridge, not AMAZING technology
3 Star Review   By SanDiegoLady on Home Depot - Feb 28, 2013

this is a good fridge, but the point of this fridge in particular, is the LCD screen and technology it comes with. If thats why you are buying this fridge, I want you to think twice. The technology needs work, the photos do not play as a continuous slideshow, you have to keep hitting replay every time it stops. Also - the wifi is really bad, the router needs to be very close to the fridge. So if your router is upstairs (as most homes have it setup) then it will definitely not connect to your internet. Overall the fridge quality is good, but not worth the price since the technology is bad. I didn't pay full price, got a good deal for presidents day sale, otherwise I would have returned it.

Great Fridge!
5 Star Review   By George on Home Depot - Feb 1, 2013

Our experience has been great after a couple of weeks of use so far. The wi-fi signal is a little weak but we've had no problem keeping connected and all the apps have worked on our unit. The speakers are plenty loud on the pandora app, the epi-curious recipe app has thousands of recipes and has been very beneficial, I don't use twitter so not interested, the AP news app works fine and the weather bug is spot on. I plan on checking with my internet provider for a booster or a router with a stronger output signal. If you are looking to purchase this remember you are buying fridge first and computer is a toy feature. The fridge part of the deal has been great, the ability to digitally control temps in the fridge and freezer is great, the middle drawer adds extra room for things you want extra cold but not frozen. It is pricey but also very unique and will be show piece in the kitchen for years to come I'm sure. I also purchased the warranty protection for parts and labor since this is a pricey unit I would hate for 1 year to go by and the computer mother board goes out and have to pay out of pocket to fix. I'm sure that wouldn't be cheap...

Skip on the wifi feature-BIG waste of money
2 Star Review   By Jack on Home Depot - Jan 13, 2013

The fridge is nicely designed, but the touch screen wifi feature stinks! The wifi doesn't connect to all of the apps, it has a poor signle strength (Samsung recommends the wifi router needs to be 10ft or closer to the fridge) and the touch screen doesn't always responpond to the touch. I called Samsung a few times and they had no clue how to fix it (they were reading from a script).

problems with Samsung RF267ABRS French door refrigerator
1 Star Review   By member scottches - Sep 27, 2012

Strengths: style

Weakness: poor ice maker, freezer not working after 2 years

'A small spring on the icemaker's flap that keeps cold air in broke. Bought replacement part but cannot access because touchscreen panel cannot be removed except by repairman. Cheaper to buy ice and store in freezer. Freezer section now does not work. Bought new 2 years ago. Very expensive refrigerator that is of very poor quality. I would not reccommend buying another Samsung.

DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG!
1 Star Review

Weakness: Warrenty, Ice maker.

We purchased this fridge new from Lowes in July of 2011 and have been trying to get the ice maker fixed since November of 2011. Its been almost 8 months and the repare man has shown up 1 out of 5 times scheduled. 5 days off work to have him not show up 4 of them is unacceptable. After the last no show we contacte the repare man and asked for his managers number. When I called it, it turned out to be a McDonalds number! Not his manager. The original complaint was filed through Samsung. Their warrenty center in Atlanta contacted us to schedule repares and thats where everything fell apart. The repare man did not show. Contacted the call center they promoissed to call back after they contacted the repareman. No call back. This happens every time. After 8 months we contacted Samsung again and they told us the fridge was out of warrenty! Then when we explained again this was not a new problem they told us there was no call center in Atlanta and they did not know who we had been dealing with. DO NOT BUY ANY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES! I will never do it again. Samsung should be ashamed and embarrassed.
